➡️ Porters and guides: It is not mandatory to have a guide or hire a porter. We did the trek alone.
➡️ ATMs: There are ATMs where you can withdraw cash in some towns like Manang and Muktinath.
➡️ Low season: We did the trek during the month of July, which is low season. You don't have to pay in most homestays to sleep; you only have to pay for the food.
➡️ TOTAL: From Pokhara to Pokhara for 2 people was 63,000 rupees.
✅ PERMITS
➡️ Location: Obtain permits in Kathmandu or Pokhara tourist offices. Bring your passport, valid visa, four photos, and payment.
➡️ Rules: Pay for a permit each time you enter the Annapurna Conservation Area. Consider doing multiple treks together to save on permit fees.
✅ SERVICES
Throughout the trek, there are shops, restaurants, and homestays where you can also take a shower, charge your mobile and camera batteries, and use the Wi-Fi in some places.
✅ RECOMMENDATIONS
➡️ Food: Buy nuts, energy bars, and snacks in the city to save money on the trail. Try the delicious local dishes for an energy boost.
➡️ Water: Use filtered water stations or buy bottled water. Hydrate well, as altitude increases water needs.
➡️ Backpack: Pack light. We used a 60L backpack for clothes and a 20L for snacks, camera, and batteries.
➡️ Map: Obtain free maps with your permits from the tourist office.
➡️ Visit: Don't miss Lake Tilicho-it's the most incredible spot on the trek!
➡️ Altitude Sickness: Expect mild symptoms over 5,000m. Eat well, rest, hydrate, and acclimate. Inform locals if needed.
➡️ Save the Mountains: Minimize plastic use, carry your waste, and reduce your impact on nature.

I thought you would be climbing 108 peaks
Good morning! Thank you very much for following us and for your comments. We are very grateful! We are mountain lovers and are starting a project to climb peaks. As you can imagine, climbing peaks over 5,000 meters is not easy. Right now we are preparing two expeditions, but permits, equipment, time, and money are needed. So, climbing 108 peaks will be a lifelong project that we will share through this TH-cam channel. However, the 108 Peaks project is much more than that. Through social networks and visits to schools, we promote a lifestyle of conscious mountain living. We hope you will continue to follow us and be part of this community, which will gradually take shape with the aim of taking care of the mountains, which are still our temple.
