Inspiring Change: Anganwadi School Project in the Himalayas

This week we visited the Aganwadi school located in Bank, about 6km from Lohajung, Uttarakhand. We received a donation of 100€ from Spain and since we knew this school has few resources, we took the opportunity to visit it. The school has 10 students aged between 3 and 6 years old.
One of the objectives of our project called 108 Peaks is, in some way, to promote life in the mountains, which is why we were very excited to be able to contribute.
Next to the Aganwadi school there is a primary school that we also visited. This school is larger, with approximately 60 students aged between 6 and 12 years old.
We are very grateful to have received this donation which has truly helped these students have materials for some time. We have spent half of the donation on this school, so we will look for the most appropriate way to continue contributing to this mountain lifestyle.
