Mantis Pod Repair and Mod

The loose joint on my PGYTECH Mantis Pod was un-nerving for me, and I decided to take it apart and fix it. It is a great vlogging tripod / vlogging grip for my full-frame mirrorless cameras, but the slack in the hinge made it a bit too unstable for me.
The repair was easy enough to do and the only tools that are required are a flat-blade screw driver and some foil tape or other 'shim' material to take up the slack.

yes sir

It's much harder to learn than English. There are a lot of confusing things which i have to get over.. for example: 'wer' is who (similar to an english word where), also 'ist' and 'isst' are pronnounced the same but mean completely different things, and then 'ich will' is 'i want', very confusing aswell.. and then the notorious kein and nicht , mag and gern, dein/ihr/eure.. i could speak the entire day.. crazy language! 😅
Love smaller phones
The main difficulty with learning languages is not to apply the own language's rules to the foreign language's grammar and rather trying to think in the other language's structure. For example, als/denn/dann, or the problem with "wohin" - nowadays, English speakers would say "where are they going". But "wohin" means literally "whither" (since this word is not in use in modern common English: *to where* is the equivalent). Hence, your answer (zum Haus) was correct. Most questions were about the German declension, which can be very painful - even for native German speakers (especially when the genitive case has to be applied). But overall, I think you made a very good progress considering that you are learning it for only one year by yourself without living there.
I also took the test after 80K German Exp. I haven’t finished the A2 section yet, which is section 4. I got the following from the test: Your recommended German course level is B1.1. I am also currently participating in an A2 level Deutsch class.
I also just got A2.1 wow lol
have you tried to use the boom swing versus turntable when chewing on stumps? I am looking at getting a 35 and flail mower. is your 35 a 33hp 0r the 24hp?
I want the next iMac to be as thin as a paper please 🙏🏻 in fact I want it to be hologram where I just need a subscription to access it
I have to say, not great progress after one year. The guy doesn't know the basic accusative and dative endings, the pronounciation is pretty crude.

This comment is a shitpost, but... do you have maples, and will this help you monitor tapping them?
Gotta say, 1 year for A2 isn't that good. You can do better.
Dieser Test ist wirklich dumm gestaltet 😅 Wouldn't recommend this as a native 😬
What have you done on Duolingo??? I literally used it for nine months now next to my studying and next to my job, and you are not even sure about simple pronouns?! Then you can simply translate word after word to understand the meaning of the missing word, and you simply skip it and choose the first word that you can translate (which makes no sense in English aswell!). English is a language, created out of German. Everything is so close to each other, it is so simple to learn for you! You can't be serious about this. I think, you are trying to slander this app. Or you are literally close to beeing retarded... you literally did this every day and you still miss simple bacics?!
This reminds me of the rednecks in high school French who didn't even *try* to effect an accent. This pronunciation for some who has studied German for a year is simply embarrassing!
r U Kevin Spacey
In most cases, the reason for unsatisfactory results of learning a foreign language is a loss of interest in the student, or you have stopped at some stage of their training and began to "stomp in one place. Thus, the effort and time you have spent in the absence of new techniques will not allow progress in mastering the language. For example, if you spend your time and effort learning the alphabet for months on end, you will not learn to read, write, speak and understand the spoken and written language. Yuriy Ivantsiv in his book "Polyglot Notes. Practical tips for learning foreign language" writes that you should not selectively stop at one thing, and try to gradually move forward, without skipping anything and not jumping, developing all the necessary language skills for you proportionally. Only then will you get effective results. In your strategy for learning any information for you, including a foreign language, you should adhere to the following principle: you made a breakthrough - mastered the new information, then you need to take the time to consolidate the material and bring it to automaticity. The next step - learn new material and master it, and so on. "There are no secrets to success. It's the result of good preparation, hard work, and learning from your mistakes." Colin Powell. Many thanks to the author of the channel for the tremendous work in creating the instructional video. Thanks to such helpful videos, we have rapid progress in language learning.

My AirPods Max have COMPLETELY failed and no longer produce any audio. They are 1.5 years old. Out of the aptly called “limited” warranty. I have spent the better part of a day dealing with Apple senior Product managers via chat and phone calls. They will not repair or replace. They will “arrange,” for repair or replacement which is code for you will pay for it, as it’s out of warranty. They are deceitful in how they offer this. This product promoted as an expensive and premium audiophile investment is nothing but trash that will fail and I suspect for the very reason described in this video, internal moisture production and ingress. Apple will not stand behind this piece of expensive crap. They keep on going on about how you should buy extended warranty - it’s my fault for not doing so. You should be more aware when you buy. Well Apple, here’s my reply. I’m going to make sure everyone I know or any platform I can announce that the Maxs are crap. DO NOT BUY THEM. $500+ fail. RETURN THEM ASAP! If you can. Shame on you Apple!
I am using duolingo 3-4 hours every day and I aquiered 23 000 xp in one month, I can understand very little to none German if nativly spoken, but I will continue doing it :)
definitely get into consuming more german media, watch movies, tv shows and DON’T put on english subtitles as i promise you won’t learn anything from that. also read short stories in german they are super helpful. duolingo is great but it’s very slow paced and everyday german speakers will speak much faster so it’s important to practice proper listening skills.
@@bakeymykakey hey, tnx für advance, since my comment I started watching Netflix on German which greatly helped me to pick up some short native phrases and I got used to native talking speed, I will keep updating my progress
I regret to buy them should have gone for the bose, Sony, Sennheiser or Marshall really not worth for a + 500 headphone headset. I bought for a long term investment for workout sessions at after 8 months the issues beginns with the random disconnect. I also heard about the moisture issues oh dear. First and last apple 🎧.
Here is what I think they did wrong as a person with no experience in electronics 1-smart case = dumb case ,this thing is causing massive problems with the battery , my theory is the issues might be caused by it thinking it’s still in the dumb case so it connects but is still in limbo mode so it doesn’t have sound also the case design is stupid and annoying to use. 2-possible really bad Bluetooth driver ,although i still don’t think that’s this issue since it connects it’s just the connection is corrupted by something else??? 3-no power button this shit could have solved so many fucking issues such as the dumb case issue with its stupid ass low power mode ,like cmon you already had buttons on it ,it’s not like you were going for a no buttons design. 4- the choice to make the connectors between the headband and the pads “lightning port like” connectors and having the pads (the whole Metal ear pad) be disconnectable with the sim tool was atrocious, absolutely disgusting choice … just why that thing is no doubt a source of the problems it has been building condensation and disrupting the connection , just why , what need is that for a consumer , just be normal and use a normal wired connection and make them permanent for fucks sake apple I’ve had gen 1 AirPods since they dropped in 2016 , im currently using them since the AirPods max don’t work/it takes 45 min to finally get a connection working
Oh cool. I was debating getting the Mantispod, or the Mantispod Pro, or now the 2.0. I might just get the cheapest one and put a normal ball head onto it... like maybe a Manfrotto RC2 head.
Same issue on solo pro, bga solder issue on main Ic, reflow repairs it and they connect instantly. Wonder if it’s the same for air pods max ? Certain parts getting too hot ehy apple ?

You didn’t mention the sound leakage? Everybody in the world can listen to what music I’m listening to
SE + Bigger Screen + Cameras of the 12 + Touch ID would be the perfect size and phone for me.
The 12 mini is the only possible update for OG SE gangsters as soon as they can't find a good used SE any longer. Hopefully this day never comes.
Do you have any thoughts on the ubiquity rocket prism with a sector antenna? I’m in the same boat as you trying to get internet about 1/2 km without a clear los. Thanks
Doulingo is not to be used by itself. You will fail to learn the language if you depend on that alone. It is good for drills and learning new vocabulary words.
What should I use it with
Nov of ‘22 and the Bluetooth connection problem is still a huge factor. For months, they worked like a charm and stayed connected. Now, it’s a huge hassle and can sometimes take as much as 30 minutes to get a connection. The Bluetooth will show connected, but that box that drops down from the top along with the little bass tone that confirms connection doesn’t happen. This is a big hassle.
I just picked up mine today, got to the office disconnected randomly then after work was on a phone call kept dropping as I’m on the phone call. Is this just the thing?

Duolingo is wonderful but speaking, reading, and listening are skills that can only be improved with practice
With trees it is best to use 2.4 GHz over 5GHz
A lot of them were not about what was in the picture but finding the one sentence that was grammatically correct :)
Thanks for the tips Kevin Spacey.
As a minor phone user, I'm sticking to my SE because it still does everything I want from it. I will eventually switch to a 12 or 13 mini, probably in a few years when I really need catch up with the latest version of IOS, I don't mind if I have to get one refurbished or second hand either.
Same here. I am even having trouble letting go of my SE 2016. Battery case, apps support, headphone jack, small form factor, and 64GB of storage is enough for minimalistic usage. If I ever need to get productive, I would simply use my iPad 9th gen which is similar but more snappier and bigger. Hotspot is available too. Maybe I’ll jump to SE 2020 cuz it is now super affordable but my SE2016 isn’t useless yet.
Just bought a pair, pretty much all of these issues are gone. The real issue: condensation.
