It was HOT. The heat index was well over 100 degrees. We've had this cannon on an old water wagon thats basically useless now. We had a 1500 gallon water tank not be used so we rigged up a little way to keep cattle cool. This thing worked awesome! I hosed cattle down most of the day to keep them from getting over heated. We updated our new feed system. Honestly guys this system make feeding a lot easier. We can use the two iPads between the loader and feed truck and we know exactly how much feed each pen gets. It's a breeze to keep track of what we feed now. Theres so much more I didn't touch on. This system can do everything. As always thanks for watching!

This week I'm getting the old 4 row planter out and getting that food plot planted. Last year we had such good luck with the food plot. It helped wildlife, good cover and food to last. This year were planting Forage Soybeans they're supposed to get up to 6-7ft tall. It will provide plenty of cover and good forage for the deer and other wildlife. It honestly amazing this old planter still works....

Remember that Air Seeder we went and got last summer? Well we finally got a chance to fix on it. We got it in the shop and got to work, and boy did it need some work. Over half of all the gauge wheels needed attention. New bushings and bearings, yeah we've all been there. I know it might bother some people but I keep referring to the “arms” of the row units as “shanks” yes I know I’m an idiot. ...

It's time for them to go. Last week I took my feeder cattle to the sale barn. I had to get them up out of them pen and into the barn pen. From there its into the alleyway so they can be loaded onto trucks. We used our new loadout for cattle. We haven't been able to load out or get any cattle in since the fire.

This past week we got a bit of surprise. TEN plus inches if snow, wet, heavy snow. After cleaning up the yard we took to cleaning up the pens. In the past we use the tire manure pusher to clean of the concrete behind the bunks. On top of that we normally bed the pens with cornstalks but when things are this wet and this muddy cornstalks don't last long in the mud. So we use our stock pile of sa...
