    You need to work on filming and editing. You have a wandering camera showing nonessential video. Use a tripod with a wider angle and do some editing of useless video (of which the was a lot).

    On the mazda forums, one of the things they worry about is cylinder scoring. Apparently the 0W20 is too thin to cling to the cylinder walls causing ring scoring of the walls. The manual says you can safely use 5W30 in hot conditions. This will cling better to the cylinder walls at the cost of slight mpg reduction.

    Last month I decided to lower my 2018 CX5 Grand Touring but I wasn't sure what fitment I wanted to go with. After watching this video, I bought the same Corksport springs, 245/45R20 Pirelli tires, with the 20" black rims I had on my old Mitsubishi Outlander and it looks so good! Plenty of clearance, no rubbing, the alignment is good and showed the camber is barely off, and I was told it should have no impact on the tire wear. Thank you so much for all the information! Everything else is stock on the car. It drives really nice, corners great like it's on rails, no more roll, ride is great on smooth streets, but can be jarring at times because many of these San Diego roads in my area are pitiful. I never noticed how bumpy the streets are in my area until now. Is there something I can do to help with this ride on these bumpy roads?

    • @garagepursuits8158
      @garagepursuits8158 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well, if you want the alignment to be perfect you need to change the arms in rear for camber adjustment. I never did, i just did the alignment and corrected toe. I didnt have abnormal wear. It depends on how low your car is.

    Corksport doesn't seem to carry these for the 2023 Signature I had to go H and R and I will couple that with Bilstein B6. It will probably end up being stock height out of the box and then lower about an inch as it breaks in. Hope this cuts down the understeer. . . . . .Update, the H and R springs and B6 Bilstiens (with cut bump stops like this video) gave me about 2" of drop front and rear. Now the stock 19" wheels look correct in the wheel well. It rides about as smooth as stock. on small bumps (that glide feeling), . . . a little more firm over larger bumps but it cleaned up the handling. No more understeer at normal speeds (speed limit cornering). I will update again after it breaks in and I push it on a mountain road.

    • @ChicagoRob2

      The Mazda OEM filters are made by Denso and are very high quality. There is one other filter I like, which is the MicroGard Select. Whip City Wrencher did a video on this filter and found it to be extremely well made. Personally, I buy my OEM filters at my local Mazda dealership for around $12, but the Microgard is cheaper. Either way, you can’t go wrong. BTW, I forgot to mention the Premium Guard Extended Life filter available at O’Reilly’s, which is the same as the MicroGard Select.
