    I found this stall-bar video to be very motivating and informative. Coach Grace, way of teaching comes across as warm, sincere, and dedicated to her viewers-as if , they were personally there being trained. The video, and audio quality also enhance this content.     I have significant lumbar central canal stenosis, with minimal disc issues. (doing all I can with MRI's, CTs, Cortisone shots, acupuncture, PT, Rieke massage, etc.... and can reasonably function. But I want to do ALL I can at home by myself for the long term to avoid surgery) Thus my compression is neither lateral or vertical, to any great extent. Just inward, squeezing the nerve bundle. Because my tendency is to walk slightly stooped over, it does feel good to hang stretch, but it "seems like" I have more pain down to my ankles later. Hard to know if my hang stretches helped or hurt. In my web research, I cannot find any info yea or nay on hanging for canal narrowing. Thank you for posting videos and thanks again! if you have time to provide any information assistance.

      Definitely make sure you adjust the exercises and modify them based on any pain and per your doctors suggestions. It's also still beneficial to hang with your feel on the ground so you can take the load off your shoulders as needed! Good luck!

    I can easily do an L sit and i can do a V sit quite well, infact i can actually do an I sit which is like a more compressed version of the V sit, but i really would like to get the manna because its a very fun skill to have

      I am a BJJ and Judo black belt. Started training in the mod 1990s. Stall bars are one of my favorite tools. They are very beneficial for our arts.

    Great video. I built my own stall bars for my gym. It was a priority. Glad I did. Love all the stretches you can do. Re the hangs. I like to insert a roller behind my back for an additional stretch as I need more shoulder mobility. Also like to pnf by trying to move my hips out by pressing my hands forward. Intense but great.

    I can never get enough listening to Simon. While I am already at advanced tuck planche and straddle front lever, I can still learn a thing or two from Simon’s breakdown thru these exercises.
