I am in a relationship that has held well for over three years…..she is almost 30 years younger. We get along well. The strength of our relationship is that we recognize our similarities as well as our differences.

Please don’t minimize all of the amazing accomplishments women have done for the world. Women are doctors, scientists, astronauts, Olympic gold medalists, authors, and even you being a content creator is a job. Please stop pushing this handmaids tale bullshit

Reading these comments got me depressed. I have two very fulfilling careers, one with a non profit and one my own business. I also do most traditional homemaking “tasks” and love being a mother. My husband also helps with laundry, dishes, whatever needs to be done. We are partners- equals. It doesn’t have to be a competition but the fact that you CAN stay home and not work is a blessing. Sad so many women see this is a competition or that other women MUST be miserable 😂

This is so refreshing to hear. What’s so sad to me, is how homemaking is valued outside of western countries much more but not in America. What is your advice to those who have judgmental and condemning parents and family members for your choice to be a homemaker without kids? It has greatly hurt our relationship and I’ve had to put distance because of the constant judgment. My parents have planted fearful thoughts into my head about me not “pulling my weight” in the marriage. It is deeply hurtful and they won’t stop with the comments. I’m tired of feeling the need to prove myself to everyone. My husband is very supportive but no one else is. It doesn’t matter to them that I worked so many low paying jobs in the past and deal with chronic illness

The far bigger issue in marriage is shared values. If a couple agrees in their minds and hearts on a set of values and priorities, and both are committed to those and to each other, the marriage will probably work.

Hello, I have a question does 8 year gap not weird for a dating? For example, if a man is 28 years old and a woman is 20 years old. I met a man, who is 8 years older than me I'm 20 we not dating just talking online. Thank you for an answer😊

It is such a blessing to be a homemaker! I’m 36 and I have miscarried before and I’m in a high risk geriatric pregnancy and it’s so nice to be able to rest and to not have a boss who doesn’t care about my health.

I really missed those old Instagram days between 2013 and 2016 when it was primarily focused on simple photo sharing, with less emphasis on features like video content, stories, and heavily curated aesthetics that became more prevalent in later years!!

As I have been listening to your content here. I’m wondering if you realize(I’m sure you do😊) the grace and call of our Father on you to preach this completely passed over & forgotten, but at this point, demoniacally buried truth that has quite literally destroyed whole generations and families and relationships and the testimony of so many of us as believers. It’s so crystal clear to me as you hit on these topics & points. I am so thankful the Holy Spirit sent me to hear what He is restoring to all who have ears to hear it and just step into it by faith.🥳🎉🙌🕊For me I know this was the missing piece of the puzzle in my life, something was missing and this was it. Much like you , I was in church for 20 years and this was not ever any message I ever heard, ever. Only that if you don’t work you don’t eat😂 and that your career/work/job was your mission field. God have mercy!! (I believe He has🙌) 2scriptures I am reading, Psalms 113:9, He makes the barren woman to be a homemaker and a joyful mother of children, Isaiah 54, Sing O one who did not bear, break into singing and cry out loud you who havent bore children, you will have more!! Thats a lot of commanding us to sing& shout out loud😊🥳🎉🕊🔑. Our maker is our Husband!!! And He is the Redeemer who lives!!! I had been earnestly seeking & praying ………” I come in the volume of the book that is written of me, to do thy will O God.”❤ This light & understanding is the answer to that prayer. I'm really tired of hearing how feminism has subverted the roles of men and women. True feminism just promotes equality between the genders, not one being dominant over the other. I've been struggling with self esteem issues all my life and have been treated poorly by men in my youth. I'll be damned if I will let any one of them dominate me now. And no, I don't think women should rule over men, but just have the same status as they do. Obviously, that's not what many Christians preach. If so, count me out. Just leave me alone and let me live my life as I see fit with no one lording it over me. I've had it.

At 35, I was looking at men who were 40-60, thinking that was all I could find. But I was snagged by 31-year-old husband. I realized he might be as far in his walk with God as other men and he isn’t wealthy, but he has a much stronger work ethic than men older than him and I have respected him for many years because of his character. Sometimes I tell him I’m practically middle aged, but he sees me as young and beautiful and I absolutely adore him for that. I usually agree with you both, but I can’t agree on this issue.

Any company that became successful with that as the prevailing environment for the last 50 years, is not going to align with your views. You need to look for companies that are not being propped by the mainstream.

They're too broke at that age, and many are all up in the bro culture. Smokin' weed and playing video games. I am 59, married with no children. I moved to Australia after marrying an Aussie (second marriage), and when I did, I decided that I had enough of working outside of my home. I wanted to stay home and take care of my home and husband. It's not that I don't want to work... I work my ass off every day. When I worked full time in the USA, we hired a house cleaner to clean my house each week. We ate out almost every meal. I shopped constantly for new clothes just to wear to work, not to mention the money I spent on lunches, Starbucks on the way to work, gas and car maintenance. Now I have none of those expenses. My husband works from home most days so we have only one car now. I cook almost every meal at home because it's healthier. I grow veggies in the garden, make many things from scratch, and if there is something I want done around my house, I watch a TH-cam video on how to do it, and most everything we've wanted to do, we've done it ourselves. Life is so much easier.

How would you encourage a wife who has built a career working with and teaching and directing acting with kids who loves her job, who is 45, and who will never be able to have her own kids? Also who has a deep intellect that needs to be challenged? My husband is telling me he wants me to not work and become a housewife. I don’t feel like I will be happy or find much value, but I don’t want to be disobedient to God or my husband.

I feel like I wasn’t ready to be a wife until my mid-20s. I went to college first and don’t regret it. Getting married is on God’s timing. I’m 29 and have not had a dating opportunity yet. Getting married is nice and all, but not everyone can get married young and have kids. So in this time, I prioritize work more. I live in a HCOL area and life isn’t getting any cheaper.

I spent a lot of time healing and preparing to be a homemaker. The culture is a bit discouraging... being single in my mid-30s has made some people insinuate that I no longer have the right to want to be a homemaker. I find strength in Christ. We have to consider the amount time it took to make that... which could've been spent just buying the product from someone else, then spending the rest of the time to make the money back. If we're making product and selling it to people, then that's fine. "Time is money" is a dangerous lie. Time is infinitely greater than money, and those who spend time to save money will always be poor.
