NoooWayyJose is a collection of motorcycle related content, sharing my experience as a first time rider and motorcycle owner. I am in no way an expert or trained technician, I am simply sharing my experience modifying my first bike and getting out there as a new rider. I may or may not add other random content; things on this channel are pretty much all shot on a GoPro Hero8, iPhone XS Max, and edited on my iPhone and iPad Pro with iMovie and LumaFusion, nothing fancy, I'm just goofin.

Fixing My Mistakes - Gangmu Tec Belt Sander Grinder Adapter - Chopper Build Series 18
Check it out as I fix my welding mistakes, as I mentioned in my last video, I had installed a battery box tray incorrectly and eventually had to cut it off leaving behind some pretty gnarly welds. I didn’t want to rely on fixing them by “hand” so I found a belt sander grinder adapter that would make the job easier. I found this tool on Amazon and thought the price was right, its nothing too fancy, but the end result is great. Thanks for watching, consider subscribing and liking this video. Mounting a Sportster Horseshoe Oil Tank - Chopper Build Series Video 16
มุมมอง 2.1Kปีที่แล้ว
Check it out as I mount a GasBox Sportster Horseshoe Oil Tank designed for the Lowbrow Hardtail kit. Since I purchased TC Bros hardtail, the the oil tank was not a perfect 1 to 1 fit and required some modifications to the mounting tabs. I was able to make a template to make up the difference in distance and find some replacement hardware to account for the gap, but overall I was able to get it ...
Stripping the paint off my Sportster - Chopper Build Series Video 15
มุมมอง 669ปีที่แล้ว
In this video you’ll see me trying out a few tools in order to try and strip the paint off my Sportster Chopper build. I welded up the two half’s and the front end still had some OEM glass black paint so I decided to get it down to bare metal in order to prep for a primar coat and finish up welding a few other things to it. I mostly used some common options you’ll find at your local hardware st...

มุมมอง 1.7Kปีที่แล้ว
Thanks for checking out my latest “How to” video, in this one I show how I de-pinned a 1988 Harley Davidson Sportster Wiring Harness as part of my Chopper Build Series. I am by no means an expert and maybe there is an easier way, but I figured id show what steps I took to take my full wiring harness apart so that I can simplify the wiring on my chopper build and retain as much as I needed witho...

Thanks for watching as I discuss the various Sportster Hardtail Kits out there. I had a few to choose from and ultimately made my choice using some basic criteria and research. I am by no means a professional or expert and haven’t done something like this before, so I am going with a kit that has a ton of information and instruction and plenty of how-to videos out there; I hope this is helpful ...

มุมมอง 8Kปีที่แล้ว
Check it out as I remove the Sportster Engine from its frame, in less than 5 minutes. This is video 10 from my chopper build series, it was a pretty straight forward and simple task that requires more strength than skill, I did this in about 2 hours and only used some basic hand tools. Sportster Teardown #3 - Chopper Build Series Video 8
มุมมอง 538ปีที่แล้ว
Sportster Teardown video #3 - In this vid I am doing my best to get the wiring harness off the frame and strip the handlebars down so that I can clear everything off in preparation of my next goal of removing the engine from the frame. I dont go into too much detail about what does what or how every little wire is connected, but hopefully to see what its like to strip things down piece by piece...
Sportster Fender Removal - Not a how to - Chopper Build Series Video 7
มุมมอง 5Kปีที่แล้ว
Sportster Fender Removal - This is not a how to video, rather me taking a few hours to mess around and make some progress on my chopper build. I hope to keep the full wiring harness in tact and only use the components I need when I simplify the wiring. This is video 7 of my series, check out where I started just a few months ago, thanks for watching and consider subscribing.
Sportster Teardown Weekend 1 - Chopper Build Series Video 6
มุมมอง 442ปีที่แล้ว
Sportster Teardown Weekend 1 in the books. Check it out as I start on my chopper project; I got myself a Husky Mechanics toolkit at the HomeDepot for about $100 and watched a few TH-cam videos from @Moonfleet41 and @lowbrowcustoms and got a lot of major components off the bike with little to no trouble. I dont think I have the skill set or knowledge to talk you through a how-to or step-by-step,...

oh man the link doesnt work! where can i find the proper ones.. i got the ones that are both hollow a few days ago
bernie? i think he would see what you're doing and say its not environmentally friendly
after trailering to buy the bike and negotiating a good deal, would you have backed out if you had caught the 1988 error? i drove about 125 miles with a trailer one time to buy a bike and thought it looked rougher than the ad portrayed...so, i backed out of the deal and drove home with an empty trailer. i just bought a 2006 1200 myself and have had a smidge of buyer's remorse. the bike is almost too nice for how i want to ride it.
Your risers are installed backwards lol
Bro did you had to change any cables?
I know this video is a year old mate but I wanted you to know that I really enjoyed watching it...greetings from Australia, keep making your vids, very inspiring
Do you need to strip the whole bike down like that in order to take out the engine?
Thank you!
Next time compress forks with a ratchet strap
Didn't have to change any cables of Brake line ????No mention of it???
What size bit is the back of the speedometer housing?
Nice job with those mounts!
Have you noticed any corrosion with them being aluminum and forks being steal?
Looking very good I've had to watch videos on everything I'm doing to my bike lots of them 😊
Exactly what I needed to know,thanks ✌️
Did you install this without replacing the fork oil lock? It seems like you have to separate the forks to get it out
Cannot learn from this...video is too fast😡
nice job! Did this require resistors to not blink too fast?
Hey do those big radius sit lower than stock? I’m worried I might scrape them. I also have an iron 883
Befor and after pics would have been nice
how did you jack up your rear fender to create clearance to stick your hands under your fender and on top of your tire?
Good job thats how we all learned.
Well I just started following you, hoping you went with the Evo🤟🤘💯
Hey Jose nice work and great info. You're saving others a lot of trial and error. I have a question for you, how'd you know which wire was for the running lights, blinker, and ground for both the new and existing?
Thanks, I have a service manual and also looked up a few other videos. I did my best to clean up the info to put it all into one place. Thanks for watching.
What change did this make to your take & trail measurements?
I dont know specifically but definitely feels different, suits me better and I like the way it looks overall.
Did your rear signals still flash after installing these? I have the exact same front LED ones that i just installed. They work perfectly fine. But for some reason now the back ones just turn on and stay solid when I put the signal on. They don't flash anymore. Idk why?
Definitely can use some help with my sportster. I cut the wiring
So those are 6 inch or 4inch?
every day Jose lol
lol… Thanks for watching!
bravo un abonné de plus de la France ✌✌
All of the preload on those springs seemed a bit weird to me with my Harleys - my old Brit bikes never had that situation, maybe a little bit but nowhere near as much as the Harleys. When sitting on my bikes ( I have a 2006 XL1200R and 2010 Dyna Streetbob both with heavily moded engines making great power) with stock fork setup, I found I could use up most of the travel simply by pushing and pulling on the 'bars while holding the front brake on.... and the 'damping' seemed useless. Thinking about it, I realised that the springs were too soft and too long - the softness gave a smooth ride but the preload needed on the springs stopped them absorbing the bumps - they tended to act like a child's pogo stick. I got some springs made up that were 50% stronger, wound simply (not dual rate or progressive), fitted emulators set fairly soft and spacers that - in conjunction with the depth of the topnut - gave virtually no preload, that is taken care of by the 'sag' with the weight of the bike and rider. I also used (two and a half Inch) extended damper tubes on the Sporty which increases the ride height but offers more travel so it's a better ride especially with decent rear (and slightley longer) units from Hagon... the bike habdles really well now and is so comfortable. The Dyna got two inch extended damper tubes, emulators, 50% stronger springs and again virtually no preload except that provided by the bike's "sag"..... ride height was a bit low and the extended travel accounts for more of the tubes than I care for so I'm using two inch over tubes. I also use Wideglide yokes (triple trees to you Americans !) which are raked two degrees and along with rear units by Hagon, the bike is so smooth and the raised ride height allows for increased lean angles as I was always grinding footpegs and breaking the clamps that hold the heatsheilds to the front silencer ! I do have adjustable topnuts to allow me to set the preload very precisely without dismantling the forks - something I cannot do with the emulators, I had to try several settings before arriving at what is right for me and now no longer have the uncomfortable 'bounce' experienced with the standard unadjustable damper rods when encountering unexpected potholes etc on the road. These things I mention seem to be standard on most modern bikes and I find it dificult to understand why Harley are so 'stuck-in-the-past' with the suspension systems they use - even later bikes with the supposed cartridge suspension are no better as once again, Harley 'did it on the cheap' !
Man can you help me with one problem. On my 2016 sportster iron 883, I have a slight oil leak from the screw located a little to the left of the main oil drain. That's a pretty big screw. The screw has a thread on it. How can I solve this problem so that there is no more oil dripping?
Why not just get extended tubes?
Next time cut it with a cutoff wheel in a grinder,it's easier to control...I just found your channel, looking like a fun build.subscribed.
That was just the info I needed Thanks
Where you at Jose!! You're getting closer bubba.
It makes for a good story
👍🏻 haven’t seen the other videos yet and i’m a year behind but hope it went well.
You made a good deal and especially for your plans to chop it up..I have an 06 sporty 1200 xlc ive had it for 8 years ,I love it . But ive been getting that chopper ich myself.good luck with the bike im sure she will make you happy.
What did u use for a welder
Why was it milky
Great videos
Can it be installed on a Honda Rebel 500?
I'm not sure, I dont have a honda rebel 500 but if you have similar bullet style turn signals and the wiring follows the same concept, then yeah maybe? Check out the light manufactures details to see if they are compatible.
Nice got it I was a little confused on how to remove the other cap thank you
For the left fork how do I remove the cap mine seems to be stuck to the spring
I am linking another video that might help you better understand the process… th-cam.com/video/vcefD-5ABLg/w-d-xo.htmlsi=JCk6La2JhyPNKUUC It’s from my channel as well. Long story short you might need to do a few more steps before just switching out to extension caps.
Great instructional video ! Good job!
What tires are those? Love the small white wall.
Good video.. most make it look easy then I get 1/2 into it and im screwed hahaha. I putting these on my Breakout as we speak, diff SS steal Brand but 2”.. thanks for letting us know what were in for. Ride safe🤘🏻
Sounds sick bro!! I’ll eventually get those, I’m rollin w/ 3” SharkRoad slipons on my 2022 Iron 883… #keepitrollin
Cant wait to see the bike come along. Your other vids especially the fork extensions really helped me out! 🙏
