- Building a Motorcycle Workbench for less than $100 - Chopper Build Series Video 5. Ive been itching to get this project started and wanted something to get the bike off the ground, so I wouldn’t have to break my back trying to figure out how to chop this thing. I was looking for bike lifts and everything I came across was easily $300+, which isn’t where I want to put my money into right now. So I figured why not try and make something for less! It may not be perfect, and I by no means a professional, but this thing is as solid as a rock. Glad it worked out, next step is to start tearing this thing down. Thanks for watching.

Great simple project and build. Very nice. I will make my bike bench just like that. I will change a few things though. First of all I will NEVER use phillips screws. I only use torx or hex screws. Phillips screws went out of my toolbox 20 years ago and I never looked back. And also, I will use wood glue. This makes the whole contruction way way stronger. If you put glue to those corners it will make the legs like super sturdy. Thanks, and I am happy you didnt drop the bike. I will also make a small side bench to walk up to, when getting the bike in place,- and after that I can use it for sitting down or keeping tools. Cheers, greetings from Denmark..... BMW R 1200 GS
Sick! I will add some 2x4s around the legs to give them some strength!
Definitely gonna do that, thanks for watching!
@@nooowayyjose keep it going! Stoked to see the process and your new hawg!!!
Good evening. As a guy who is only 5’6”and 60 years old now. I built a table like yours. 25 years ago. It was too tall and too wide. I don’t mean to pick on you. But my table now is about 20 inches wide and 16 inches tall. I was able to walk a sportster rite up on there by myself. Basically like walking your bike up onto a coffee table. it makes it very easy to change handlebars/controls, gas tanks, etc. without having to step up on something. Good luck. Smitty
you might want to put some 2x4 around the bottom of the 4x4
Just added some today, definitely felt the need to reinforce the bottom once I had the bike up there. Thanks for watching!
Why so tall?
Wanted to avoid having to bend over a bunch. I’m 6 ft tall so this height works for me. Thanks for watching
