Why didn't you announce their next big product that will disrupt the auto industry? If it's just that trike, they have been announcing that since 2009. I was hoping for what comes next as per your title. Revise the video to tell us that, not just use stock footage and talk about nothing for almost 10 minutes.

perpetual motion is what they say in the video, problem is aptera has suppressed any real world data it has collected and the numbers they give are not for the current vehicle at all. 10miles/kwh or 350mpge was said to be for the 2008-2011 aptera vehicle, but no evidence of what exact vehicle that was for has ever been revealed. They have supressed any real world testing results since the 2019 inception. CD of 0.13 based on questionable simulation from playdo model then rendered, pinnafarinna wind tunnel test results supressed, airshaper recent simlation results also supressed. So they continue to use very old cd value for a different vehicle way back in 2008 or early after that. Solar output similarly never shown real world results, only poorly calcualated inaccurate data based on incorrect assumptions. They have supressed any solar data also.

They do not even have their 3 wheeled motorcycle ready. Since 2009.

Autonomous vehicles, low cost Robo taxis. I don’t know if that will be able to compete. It’ll be cheaper to just take a Robo taxi than to buy a car. No license needed, no insurance, no liability, your own personal chauffeur. Most people could probably take a Robo taxi for 10 years for the cost of a car. I’m sure they’ll be niches where it’ll be practical to own an Aptera or other vehicles.

I won’t call it a scam, but their chances of building this vehicle in volume are pretty low. They haven’t even got past prototype after all these years. Production is far harder.

aptera will deliver zero vehicles in 2025, they might even go bankrupt but they might survive another year. They have zero real world data on their vehicles, the production intent vehicles have zero test results for aero/efficiency/solar range. Even though they tell investors certain figures they have never released any real world results, making for a very suspicious situation where they get investments based on inappropriate data for old mk1 version aptera from 15 years ago. Why are they supressing any new data? It appears they do not want to release any of the real world numbers for their vehicles as it will probably negatively effect investment from crowdfunding once the public know the real world data which has never been released.

That's an interesting point of view. It makes sense. We'll see how it bears out. I just bought a Chevy Equinox EV last week. I scored an insane deal, getting a total of $13,000 off the list price of $40,590 in various incentives. We have a 2021 Bolt Premiere, too. If Aptera delivers my car, we will get rid of the wonderful Bolt and keep the all-wheel drive Equinox so we can get the Aptera (no longer available in all-wheel drive) and still have an all-wheel drive vehicle, with excellent range as well. Because of where I live, Aptera pushed me way down the order list. Way down. (I was one of the earlier reservation holders.). If they ever produce the vehicle, I'm not going to see it for three more years. So this works out perfectly. I strongly recommend you look at this approach if your car is very old and you've been waiting too long to drive an EV. Deals like this Equinox are uncommon in car buying. You can start making a drastic difference in your environmental footprint and enjoy a much better driving experience. That Equinox is an awesome car to drive. Here was the financial breakdown: $40,590 (MSRP with comfort pack, convenience pack and awd) - $7500 (fed) - $1500 (state) - $2500 (GM financing or GM repeat, current customer) - $500 (for my wife being a nurse, with other such $500 bonuses offered by GM) - $1000 (dealer discount at Paul Massey Chevrolet in R. I ) = $27, 590 net. I'm in this for the environment first and foremost. I just couldn't wait any longer to go full electric. I drive an average of 100 miles a day three or four days a week for work. I simply do too many miles to drive a pure gasoline or even the plug-in Prius I bought just this September before I could talk my wife into this awesome deal on the Equinox EV. (Anybody want to buy an excellent 2012 Prius plugin?) Hopefully, the money I save on transportation Energy can go towards buying the Aptera. BTW, is anybody interested in buying more stock at the $14 price point Aptera just introduced? I was going to unload the shares I had, but now that they're actually assembling production-intention units, I might just buy a $1,000 worth of stock at a time as an angel investor, even though we are not rich - far from it. Did anybody buy the new stock offer?

They have been at it since the mid 90's and have never brought anything but promises to the market. Bellies up in the 90's, reformed the company in 2006 and bellied up again. Third time is the charm.

You forgot to mention a significant disadvantage of Aptera’s late roll out: will be competing with much cheaper EV’s with higher range.

My plan is to purchase one in roughly a year. It really depends on its stage of development at the time. There are companies in Japan and china producing competing advanced robots. There is one using fluid dynamics for the muscular structure rather than motors and gears. That is a paradigm shift making it closer to imitating the human body.

The answer to a more advanced robot is obvious. Download the tasks needed before hand. Or download at the time of use.

Please, listen to yourself! A lower cost vehicle than you offer not equipped with on board solar charging would be affordable to me. I could plug it in to our home outlet, charge it, and still do much in savings for transportation costs. In my case, batteries with 100 mile range, an affordable price without on board solar power, would be possible. 30 thousand dollars is too much for a retired person on social security. Make us an affordable version that still cuts way back on fossil fuel use. As it is, my 12 year old Nissan Rogue will continue at 28 MPG, I have no choice.

We have a reservation for the R2, we currently have an R1T that we absolutely love.

I know your unique selling point was solar powered charging on board. Mersades now has announced solar powered charging with special paint! Here is my point. You could have a version that is so efficient, skipping solar charging and just making it a plug in charged vehicle would probably cost a lot less, and it still would blow every other vehicle out of there in the weeds'
