Autonomous vehicles, low cost Robo taxis. I don’t know if that will be able to compete. It’ll be cheaper to just take a Robo taxi than to buy a car. No license needed, no insurance, no liability, your own personal chauffeur. Most people could probably take a Robo taxi for 10 years for the cost of a car. I’m sure they’ll be niches where it’ll be practical to own an Aptera or other vehicles.
It's never too late for Aptera. They are going to build perfection and I'd rather have that. Even if it takes 10 years from today. Aptera take your time. Please, don't rush it.
there's a lot to be said for delayed gratification. However, this video makes delay excuses sound like providentially good things. It's time to get the ball rolling.
@@AzEagletarian - I want the Aptera to get it right. The longer we wait, the better it gets. PLus with new technology coming out (i.e. solar paint, solid state batteries, fully autonomous driving) can be implemented to the Aptera technology package before it's released to the public. Thus a much better vehicle that will be at the peak of technology and efficiency.
I won’t call it a scam, but their chances of building this vehicle in volume are pretty low. They haven’t even got past prototype after all these years. Production is far harder.
Not sure if it'll be possible to purchase one in europe during my lifetime. I am a senior now. And times are changing rapidly. Now there will be MAJOR political changes/difficulties (not only) in the states. #tradebarriers ... Then there is climatechange and everything around it. #supplychains #extremweather #DemandchangeBCofeconomy ... I stopped following Aptera quite some time ago, although i STILL hold up my reservation from like 4 or 5 years ago.🙄 Good luck.
They have been at it since the mid 90's and have never brought anything but promises to the market. Bellies up in the 90's, reformed the company in 2006 and bellied up again. Third time is the charm.
I would love to see this in the U.K.
It will happen, eventually
The Aptera motorcycle cannot be registered in UK. It is too wide.
Die Aerodynamik ist sehr schön!
und unpraktisch.
You forgot to mention a significant disadvantage of Aptera’s late roll out: will be competing with much cheaper EV’s with higher range.

Nobody will be able to pay for Aptera perfection.

@@billsmith5960 When? In 2040? While Aptera spends 6Mill$ per month producing nothing?
Would ❤one. I own 3 combustion engine vehicles. This would be sweet.
Aptera will make just fine.
What other vehicle will be available that can charge from from the sun.
So far none

I see another bankruptcy
The car is a waste of space. The thing can carry 2 people and a puppy.
20 years or 2 decades and no production. WTF are you people thinking?
