@@ellie-jane Ahhh honestly visiting the Kyoto old town was really special, and also the philosopher's path was in such a beautiful green area! And yess I am also vegan 😊🌱 I loveee japanese vegan food its so well balanced usually and delicious

maaaaan I just googled the philosopher’s path cause I’ve never heard of it - I wish I went! but yes, I really loved the traditional parts of Kyoto as well so happy a fellow vegan is here 🥰 I thought we would find more vegan sushi in Japan but I guess that’s an Americanized thing

@@ellie-jane hehe there's always a reason to go back <3 And yess I found the same it was so hard finding vegan sushi, I don't think we had any! We made it a lot ourselves instead 😂But we did find amazing vegan gyoza and ramen to make up for it ✨☺

hey arianna! 🥰 aww thanks so much for saying that. you’re watching at a great time cuz i have a lot of japan eating vlogs coming up yes i would say i’m gluten-free 98% of the time! my current GF recommendations would be: - Vegan Cafe PQs - GF pancakes (they also have super pretty curries but i didn’t get to try them) - Nataraj - all you can eat Indian for $15 (80% of dishes are vegan) - Mabre Vegan (matcha tiramisu I *think* is gf) - Ain Soph (pancakes are BEST) - Shochikuen (my fave cafe for desserts, everything is gf and v) - Vegan Bistro Jangara (they have a gf menu, my fav ramen ever!) - Ko-So Cafe (lots of options: pancakes, generous salads, curries, pasta, pizza -> takes a while to get the pizza though)
