Normally when people think about Warhammer Fantasy, they're usually of the opinion that it's much darker and grimmer than real life. I'm going to talk about a case when that isn't actually the case.

I've been trying to get my club into historical wargaming for a while now. This is an early experiment by taking inspiration from the real world battle of Fornovo during the Italian Wars. This battle is meant to be a skirmish taking place before the main Italian and French armies have time to draw up. It was fought with 4 players, two per side, using rules written by Andy Callan.

I don't think warhammer the old world goes back far enough. I think there's a potential to add more variety to the game by taking the setting further back than only a few hundred years.

In this video I compare two holy warriors: the warrior priest of sigmar against the knight of the silver hand (paladins).

I throw my hat into the ring about which nation would win in a fight, the alliance from warcraft 3 and the empire from warhammer fantasy. This is purely based on my own opinion and beliefs. Feel free to disagree in the comments.
