If you had the proper tool and chemical to clean the EGR, you wouldn't need to take it off and it would be done much quicker. You just need to open both ends and blow the chemical through with the machine for cleaning it.

I'm literally in an college Diesel Technology class tearing down and putting back together a DD13. My team of classmates didn't know what DTNA Techlit meant by intake/exhaust since there's two camshafts which is why I reffered to this video. Hi, On the injector cup bore , there is a bit like a circle mark from the first injector cup, I cleaned it and it shines, but that mark still looks a bit like a circle, will there be any problem? Thank you

I wonder. Could we attach a 3" hose to the back of the cooler and then blow it out without removing it? I guess it's not possible to fill it up completely with purple power if one tries that? Because there would still be some air space at the top . . .

I just welded a tap to some all thread and made a bridge to pull the old cups. I have used it many times for over a decade and still works

Excellent video. My question is, if you are only cleaning the EGR cooler and both ends are open, can you just use air pressure to clean the EGR cooler while the EGR cooler is on the truck?

They have egr cooler cleaning solution which dissolves the soot in a blink- jendyl products the name of it. 70$ online for a gallon

You can do that on truck without removing egr cooler....take orange noot off then place 90° rubber hose in its place fill it up with super clean and let it sit for 1-2h then just rinse it with garden hose same result alot less time and money.

Be nice to mention that it has to be programmed after you’re done!!!!
