Very cool. What do they go for?
Around 18,000-20,000CNY (2455-2669USD) here in China
Where to buy? Can't find it anywhere!
@@jaysunkreuze1466 here's the manufacturer's Alibaba: adnvsys.en.alibaba.com/
Chromatic aberration(not) come from the OLED screen fringing. The sensor is mono so it can't come from the optic(its not chromatic aberration).
First, I feel like battery packs should be separated from the electronics, particularly in this application and as the demands (and weight) increase. Perhaps with a pack at the back of the helmet if it can balance out the weight, otherwise using a magnetic connector that resumes when the helmet is put back on. Just as I emphatically think someone should make a Gucci rifle which has the battery pack for laser / flashlight in the hand grip (hollow section) of an AR, with integral wiring built into whichever rail system is used. Whoever creates a standard interface first will be set to make some money. But it's one of the best ways to get some of the weight off the front of an AR. As it's not the weight, but the location of it. I think the PEQ laser could be a whole lot smaller were it not constrained by the known size of the battery. Granted, regular flashlights probably require a large lens to create a good balance between focused and flooded light. But with the higher-density batteries that're coming out, it'd be greate to create a pack that maximizes maH within the volume of (perhaps an oversized) pistol grip. Perhaps on non-AR platforms which don't use a buffer tube, you could integrate the battery into the butt stock, of course. Just not on those with buffer tubes or with skeltonized / folding stocks. But ideall ... the wiring that goes to the rail would be pre-wired to that battery pack as well as to the scope. Also, I highly doubt people realize just how knowledgeable this guy (channel) is...and I mean on a list of topics; from physics to compression-algorithms to sensor-technology, And ... how to create clear communication (which starts with excellent comprehension) to not only simplify it us, but to do so in that sweet spot of not exceeding our ADD on one hand and yet keeping it simple enough on the other. I'm nothing short of impressed. People who only consume media may not be impressed. But anyone who's created something? Anything. Know, from researching a topic, writing the script ... and ffs, animating concepts that need bolstering, will know just how impressive this was, let alone, if it's a one-man operation.
do you need to purge with nitrogen or anything?
@@glocksmyth573 Purging will be ideal, but not exactly necessary. Not really had an issue with internal moisture with my NODs even when taking them outdoors from a warm room during the winter or vice versa.
I'd like you to review it. Huawei ep681-ep682
you dont always want both lens focused to the same point. CQB/anything hands on comes to mind. Plenty of people might focus one lens to arms length so they can work on a charge, on a casualty, or manipulate whatever they need to while still being able to then look up and see at distance. Flip pinhole/irises have been created to aid in this by allowing you to have a small opening you can quickly flip down to focus a lens up close
For that cost you can get into a decent used set of duals or gen 3 pvs14s. The point of these digital optionsnwas tonbe cheaper than analog, they are misisng their target mark by a couple grand
I wish it has color mode and circular viewing screen
So how do yeah talk with it? Better yet... How do I hook up a mic, ears, or throat microphone.
The a7s ii is actually better for low light. It has bigger physical pixels compared to the zv-e1 which has software binned pixels(increased read noise).
Yeah, I've seen the old A7s2 vs A7s3 comparison at 409,600 ISO and while the A7s2 appears noisier with a pink cast, the shadow areas have noticeably more detail. It seems like the A7s2 sensor may have higher sensor-level sensitivity and/or SNR as well.
No gen 5s huh... Tuned to their own frequency, So you can't see each other..
Any reviews from the cheapest lindu complete mono? LDNV002
Great video. Do they have an english version of the firmware updater? And is there any chance you can do a video of a complete walk through of the firmware update process. I wish I could read chinese. I am about to order one of these units. They look really nice, however I worry about not being able to update the firmware. Ideally it would already be updated prior to shipping. Also do you know how large the storage is for the video recorder unit? Is it expandable like with micro SD? its hard to find data on this unit. Thanks again for the video! its a real help :) - Kevin
Public build of the updater is not yet released. Will put up a pinned comment here once it does. I'll definitely release a full video walkthrough once the public build releases too.
Yeah I really like this design, for most consumers you get something you want rather than trade offs, scan zoomed out then zoom in and see if you can identify the subject properly.
Exactly! The ability to have what's essentially two devices in one is worth the extra weight penalties.
The quansheng radios and the baofengs with the new color displays have scrambler built in already so it would probably make more sense to just buy one of those then blow a ton of money on what is essentially just a baofeng with a fancy cover.
Does this have UVC output for real time viewing? USB? Do you have drivers for ubuntu?
It does have a digital video signal going out via the 9-pin, albeit it's meant to be captured with a proprietary recorder. Also, the updater currently only has windows versions.
Is it known whether there will be an update for the G14SE in the foreseeable future?
Any G14SE recently purchased should already be on v1.1, which is chronologically equivalent to G14P2 v1.2
That looks nothing like the Radtel 490 that I have. It Ihas two up/ down buttons and one nob on the top, not two. The voice is sweet and sexy, not male.
I'm waiting for the day that we get native thermal / NVG Hybrid overlay as standard
what sort of mount do you use for connecting the tj660 to a tripod? does it wobble?
No mount, I simply use the 1/4" tripod screw hole on the bottom of the unit directly. And it does wobble quite a bit since the bottom of the unit isn't flat and doesn't sit flush with the tripod mounting plate
@@hypemilitaria6447 i have the same experience; i am testing a saddle mount which has been effective so far. does your audio work, mine doesnt!
@@NightSkyWalkers Mine does. You have to enable it in the menus. It's not good audio though that's for sure.
@@hypemilitaria6447 it's enabled ..... I can barely hear mine with PC volume on full
@@NightSkyWalkers Yeah same with mine. It may have something to do with the microphone being buried under a thick layer of rubber. But I don't tend to use the audio from the scope anyways so it's not a huge deal for me.
there's a 1280 model now, time to upgrade
Indeed it is.
Well you can have ABC (Automatic Brightness Control) and Bright source Protection on Gen 0 and 1 Tubes. The EEV P8079 is one of those (although it's a 3 Stage cascade tube with 3 tubes in series. They did that also on other tubes) the circruit is there even simpler to implement as on Gen 2 and 3 Tubes. They measure the current of the tube, which is almost linear to the received output brightness.
Anyone that’s worked with Gen 3 analog can’t defend digital
Nice video 😊 alien technology 😮
Thanks! And I agree, the Sony 12MP full frame CMOS is simply unbeatable in lowlight in the camera world.
I'm a big fan of radtel radios & the company has been good to me. I just recently got the RT752 after lots of shopping and emailing with them. Great company
Why the music?
Great video...thank you...I may actually consider purchasing one of these...
Awesome! It'll definitely serve you well if you decide to get it.
what does "nuc" do?
It corrects image irregularities due to the sensor heating up unevenly from use. If you notice banding or weird noise artifacts in your thermal image that weren't there when you switched on the unit, it's time to NUC.

I need to learn Chinese, its looking to be the only way I'll ever satisfy my Night Vision autism
Haha true, especially with the amount of NV and thermal products coming out of China nowadays
Could you please do a more in depth video about the GF-31?
This! Want more info on this unit
Will definitely do it, stay tuned.
The AGM Clarion thermal scope has been on the market for about a year now and also has a variable non digital zoom feature, from 35mm to 60 mm
Nice. Didn't know about that unit. I think iRay's Zoom series made it to market even earlier but their zoom ranges are also quite limited. The reason I went for the Guide now instead of the iRay Zoom when they came out is specifically because of the versatility of the 20-60mm (1.5x-4.5x) range. 20mm is wide enough to sweep large volumes of space and 60mm is tight enough to ID targets at range.
I think now days with so much analog and digital nvg out there passive is the way to go i absolutely love my eotech under nods
I agree. NV tech in general are too accessible nowadays for active aiming to be truly stealthy even in asymmetric warfare.
Where can i buy it?
I got mine on the xianyu app. Surplus sets should still be available on there.
To those wondering, if you speak Chinese, this thing only cost 1.8k usd from the Matrix nvg store on Taobao
If my 230 lbs body falls on these will, they hold up. Because my pvs-31a will ask me how I know lol .
They should haha. They're made of aerospace aluminum and the internals are rated to withstand 1500G shocks.
This model comes with 2 screen protectors take them both off does not scratch
can this be done with a prc 148
@@zackdrew3559 If it has airband Rx mode, yup!
