I would never use the sunroof. 2 yr only design and impossible to find a replacement when it breaks.

You can buy a pretty good aftermarket touchscreen with apple car play and android auto and the navigation is way faster
You should have showed the keyless entry. That was one of my favorite features. BTW, you can open the trunk with it also.
It took me 3 1/2 hours to get that nut off that you gave up on. The rest of the job 45 minutes but that one nut 3 1/2 hours.

On the low the Gen 2 is the better motor if you are going to boost it as far as less head aches. out of the first 3 gen's.. I did my homework just port injection, shares the Same Arc as the GT350 and GT500 in that way. The Gen 2's people are going to find out one day that they are special actually.. You don't have to worry about 16 injectors just 8.. And the gen 2 is also a very smooth motor very well balanced. The motor's only real weakness is the 11mm head stud's, That is going to be one of the extra costs if you Whipple it, it would be smart to do head studs too.. Not knocking the gen 3 it does have better springs and with the 12-1 compression it makes an extra 25 Hp over the gen 2 maybe 30 HP, and honestly that power mainly comes from the intake and the compression bump.. It's that 10 speed that really makes the gen 3 and now the gen 4 shine..
Hell yeah they are.. I love my Manual 17 PP GT... I just got mine 9 months ago... I still have 12,400 miles on mine.. I found her with one previous owner other than me.. I bought mine with 8,909 miles on her.. I have a ton of fun.. And they can be made very fast.. My MT82 is clunky but she does the trick.. You are right though about, the fluid, clutch line, shifter and the stock clutch.. So far my clutch is holding up.. Once I get to 15K I'm going to the syncro 2 and the rear gear oil too.. Nice video though..
120k miles on my factory MT-82,I promise changing the clutch completely changes the whole car

Well said. Buddy wanted to throw me an offer for my 2015 GT. And I had to be honest and tell em unless he was crazy enough to pay me what these dealers want for them. Not worth letting it go. Especially considering how expensive performance cars sell for today. I do wish I had that red on black interior like yours.
I bought my 2015 GT about a year and a half ago and so far, the only issue I've had was the IMRC snapping. Since the gen 2 intake manifolds aren't made anymore, we had to weld the metal rod back into place and reinforce both sides with JB weld. I wasn't ready for a GT350 Manifold and tune.
Gen 3 manifolds are pretty cheap these days,you can use zip ties or lockout plates to delete the IMRC system like i did and have it tuned.i had the same issue with my imrc system on my stock manifold
They are great cars. I miss my pp1 2018 mustang on blue. But it was getting my in trouble with the cops so i made the decision to buy one when im older and not hot roding in the streets...

I feel your pain it can be frustrating Ive owned 4 also 2 1st gen and currently 2 2nd gen 97black on black and 98 Pearl white Collectors Edition My rear went out on my 97 about 2 months ago bur after 27 years I cant complain, I got lucky and replaced the bags and solenoids for $130 parts and shes back and handling great ,I never wanted coilovers heard too many stories about the shitty ride ,glad it worked out for you and you can enjoy your Mark again I love these cars and will never part with them I have a cherry Lexus LS 430 also thats a garage Queen and is a great car but the Marks are an absolute blast to drive ! Only change the spark plugs when the engine is cold to prevent damaging the threads. If you are around the 150k mile mark, you need to replace the oil filter adapter gasket because it will fail within the next 10 to 20k. You will be putting oil in your car every time you drive if not and have a huge leak. Also a good time to replace the cooling fan motor, it's easy and inexpensive. Blend door actuator if not done already. Alternators will fail with this car. Get one with a lifetime warranty and never pay again. They too are easy to replace. That said, these are amazing cars and I'm looking for my fourth one now. The air ride is the main culprit and is great when it works, but you've already fixed that. Good luck with your 8!
I love the Mark VII BB Edition. Just curious, what is your real world gas millage like? Also, is the exhaust loud?
I had an 88 Mark VII LSC and a 93 Mark VIII and a 96 Mark VIII. For the overall looks, I liked my LSC the best but like you said the Mark VIIIs do grow on you. The Mark VIIIs are WAY faster and the VIIIs were designed as a sports car first and had a nearly even front to back weight ratio that's why it feels so balanced. It's also why the suspension isn't as soft as the VII. The VII became a sports car later but it wasn't designed as one initially when they came out in 84. Your climate control head in the 7 probably needs to be rebuilt. It's mot likely the reason it glitches. Could be the same with the convenience computer. The LSCs also had a tach and analog gauges.
The Bill Blass was not the Sport version, the LSC was.
Climate does have buttons to change zone it’s by the fresh air and recirc button…you have to know tall the buttons 😂

I had three mark 8s 93, 97, and a 98 lsc. I still have the 98 lsc and my 1977 mark 5. Best cars I've ever owned
What is the issue with air ride? I have a 1997 and it has 350k + miles and is still in air. Needless to say I know the system well. Let me know what it’s doing or not doing
I had a 98 and sold with 278,000 miles. Oil leaks was only issue but an Awesome vehicle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
