Ditto on the S1k XR for sure. Love BMW’s fit & finish. The 9W Market is the place. Be there or be no where. Fantastic vibe going on. Ya’ll looked great out there. Well done.

Just picked up my ‘24 M package last week! First thing I did was the OEM BMW radiator and oil cooler guards. Tabs for the guards are already located on the inner front fairing, snaps right into place. Love the content man!

Finally! A rider on TH-cam who isn’t talking about the riding season is over. If it’s too cold for them to ride around with their T-shirts half way up their backs they don’t want to ride.

Ran three rear Michelin Power 5. Great tires, nice grip, great feedback. Road 36 psi front, 40 psi rear. Power Wheelie grabs nicely, no slipping.
If you slid out too much rear tire pressure or not warmed up.

Poor Sandy, he was probably back there peddling as fast as he could to keep up .... 😂🤣 Its hard to keep 200rwhp stuck to the ground in anything but prefect, hot conditions. A guy I work with, who's been a long time, very fast sport-touring rider bought a 2024 S1000 XR earlier this year.... He says its absolute missile, being one of the hardest accelerating bikes he's ever ridden. But he also says, the XR also has a more mellow side, that's comfortable and easy to tour on.

The gas cap is a super easy swap and well worth it! I have the alpha racing one, it’s made by twm. I ordered it from motomillion with the titanium bolts. I love it! I have the same power cup tires you have so, I’m curious to see what tire you go with and how you like them.

If you are doing a header as well you better get ready for some earplugs!! LOL. I ran a shorty on the stock header and cats for 1500 miles and didnt notice any real change in power, but it wasnt tuned either so I still had the anemic power right where power would be affected. It still sounded like a sewing machine unfortunately...if you delete the servo it will help a TON as well...

I've been riding for 40+ years, and to me, if I have to wear anything heated, it's too cold to be out riding, that's what my Lancia or Audi are for. But kudos to you and those that ride in the cold. I got spoiled living and riding in southern California for many years. If the temp is in the low 50's or below, or in the high 80's or above, I don't ride (in eastern VA). It's just not enjoyable for me...

@@DongYonder Cant wait to see it Brother!! I did the slip on with the cat for about 1700 miles, did the header just 3 days ago, I have the tune ready to go on but am gonna wait just a bit just in case (I changed the oil again before doing the header to inspect for any metal as a precaution). Header went on at 1900 miles and that really changed things as well since it removed the flapper valve...but I figure I will do the tune by 2000 miles... :D
