    It's definitely important for Gen Z to have a voice but I would hope that Feminism is inter-generational and not just focused on one generation. I am interested to know more about the thoughts and experiences of Gen Z, though as I feel your generation is spoken about more than it is heard. Thanks for the video.

    Lovely <3 For me, although I don't have that many old photos, home videos, or voice recordings, there are things that always evoke memories in me (a "move in" video of a 1st year student going into their dorm room from my old residence when I was a college student, the sight of a building I would have passed like 100s of time while taking the bus, or a song that used to play on the radio while I'd spend hours playing a video game, etc.) So many everyday "boring" things that turned out to be great times of my life.

    Society self destructing. Why cant it be equal respect for men and women? All i heard from all these interviewed about women's rights. Thats now been resolved. Women have the same rights in western world. The olace they go to target is hardline and third world countries that mistreat women. In the west there needs to be a discussion now about mens and women's rights and needs. How they learn at school best and how men and women biologically wired.

    Feminist needs to be drafted for wars, they need to be drilling oil in the deep ocean, drill concrete "construction," build sky scappers, repair electronic powerlines, and maintain the infrastructure of this world. Until then, women are not equal to men, that would be equally. And for the record, men wouldn't mind staying home with the kids and watching sports while his Feminist wife goes to work, that would be equally.

    I love the idea that 5th wave feminism is international feminism - - bringing feminism to every nation. Making it a global movement, and making women in the first world aware that they have a duty to promote women's rights around the world.

    I feel that there definitely needs to be a 5th wave of feminism which reconnects with the broader social justice movement, just as 1st wave feminism was deeply connected with the abolitionist movement.

  • @robinstevenson6690

    Molly, I found a lot of the women's comments in this video really demoralizing. They seem to have no sense of direction or purpose. To them, feminism is anything anyone wants it to be, which is no different from anything else.

    The true goal of feminism is not equality. That’s bologna. The true goal is to overthrow men everywhere and usurp his God-given nature and position (to rule and govern the world through the cooperation of others for the glory of God). Feminism is anti-women, anti-baby, anti-men, anti-family. It’s the masculinization of females. If it truly was about equality, which we already now have in the western world, then why don’t you see armies of women fighting overseas while the men stay home? You won’t see that because God didn’t create women to be warriors and confrontational. Women hate conflict and confrontation. They love peace and unity among groups, at the cost of truth. (Sadly so). This is why they make lousy leaders and war combatants. Are there exceptions to the rule? Yes. But those exceptional women don’t make the rule.

    Hey there. Great video! it helped me a lot. I have a question, do you think that the production courses throughout all 4/3 years at film major are about filming with an iPhone and are very basic? I am more interested in directing and the process of the production itself. OR do you think that Yale is better at the theoretical and historical domains than the practical? thanks a lot

    • @MollywoodFilms
      @MollywoodFilms ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey! I would definitely say the upper level courses are more advanced and would allow you to make films that could be competitive in festivals - However it will still not be to the level of a film school with a full crew and industry standard equipment. I think in the film major they are considered better at the study of film and theoretical film but production classes do go up in level and the writing classes are amazing.

    Be natural, nurture deep thinking, and act, make yourself a better person day by day, be good for yourself and for others, be strong and capable to hurt somebody’s feeling, but be emphatic , Do not sell yourself to social media meta life. This is what feminism is all about…and of course much more. But it is a serious way of living. Takes courage for fighting to make this a better world, but in between reality limits of intelligent capacity of reading the reality that is fundamental for making a strong agenda…don’t make up your reality. Reality, is truth, and cannot be everybody’s truth, but shared by humanity.

    Hey great video since there was no other person who talked about Yale's undergrad film programs. I have a question, as you know top film schools like USC or NYU have different acceptance rates due to their highly selective film programs with 3% for USC and 10% for NYU (compared to their normal rates of 16% and 21%). Yale has 7% overall acceptance, I am thinking of applying Yale, do you think it would be as highly selective to enter Yale's film program? Or is it appear to be more "easier" (ex. 10% above) if I apply to specifically Yale's film as they are not as much competitive?

    • @MollywoodFilms
      @MollywoodFilms ปีที่แล้ว

      Yale doesn't require you to enter with a specific major in mind so I wouldn't say there's a different acceptance rate for the film program specifically. Submitting a film supplement is optional and most applicants don't have a creative supplement so in that regard I think the types of films they see in applications are probably a bit lower caliber than the film schools or just different types (documentaries, investigative research films, commercials, etc rather than ambitious narrative films). Basically, if you get into Yale you can study film - there's no separate application process.

      @@MollywoodFilms do you think applying to Yale and expressing your commitment and interest in pursuing the film program could better your chances? Same exact thing just happened to me recently. I went through literally the same steps as you *and* rationalized in the manner you did. Thankfully, I was able to not get led on as far. Did some research and went down a deep rabbit hole about this and found this exact scheme taking the form of many different reputable companies and persons over time. And especially sucks since it seems to be targeting young, entry-level creatives in video editing, graphic design, copyediting, and all the like. Makes me furious and very pessimistic as someone seated in this exact niche. Glad you were able to pull out safely, but not without that crushing realization of what you (we) were falling for. Hope you're doing better!

    The message here is that feminism is for all women and has no definition. It is about equality but not ounce where men mentioned. Who by the way are suffering real trauma in just about every real measure of the quality of life. In truth, feminism has evolved into a hate group in order to perpetuate a political machine that doesn't want real equality across genders. The easiest and surest method to generate interest is to play to the most device message for support and profit. Feminism is causing the destruction of society. Where have all the men gone? You killed them. They are in prison, on the streets. alienated from their families, dying early. Family courts are bias, men don't want to get married because it's too much of a risk. The mentality of most so many women in feminist countries is so toxic, its not possible to have a relationship with someone who thinks they are naturally better than you and your gender inherently owes them something, Although your gender built and keeps running the society that they so much enjoy.
