I died & was brought back to life in 2017. People say a lot about where they went or what they saw when they were out, and here's another one of those! No, I didn't see Heaven or Hell. I saw the truth. A truth that has since been hidden from me, yet again, but I know it's out there, and I am no longer afraid. I hope this helps anyone out there with... well, anything! 🥰

This video made me fall in love w you a little bit honestly lol. That’s so attractive to me that you stood up for that girl, and stood up for your values. I’m the exact same way. I’ve had very similar experiences out in Arizona as well. If it means anything, you’re an attractive guy, and I love how you think. Please don’t change; you’re exactly what a lot of us are trying to find. Sending love; and I appreciate your perspective a lot. ♥️

I felt this. I am the survivor of an attempted sexual assault. It will be almost a year ago that it happened. My ex roommate literally tried to R word me while i was working from home. Thankfully, i was able to fight him off (and at 5'8 against someone 6'4 i was punching well above my weight class) and call the cops.... It was the worst experience. Because being a male victim of SA gets you nothing but ridicule and etc. This society is so geared towards seeing women as victims and ALL men as predators. Therefore, when you come forward as a man they automatically want to believe it was something YOU did that caused it to happen. Thanks for sharing. ❤

Thank you for sharing this beautiful story, depression is deadly if not taken care of. You are the ultimate perseverer since you literally rose from the dead. Being gay definitely contributed to my depression growing up. I used to be religious and during high school I would cry myself to sleep because my parents HATED gay people and deep down I knew I for sure wasn’t straight lol!! And then my brother also attempted suicide but lived. You are here for your own reasons and don’t let anyone restrict your life. Thanks again.

What you describe about being in fight or flight mode because of the trauma is so real (both my parents were conservative super Christian and used all the belts hangers and slaps and fists), I am in both, I imagine what I would do if someone bigger (I’m 5”3) tried to attack me I think of grounding myself looking for weak spots while going crazy and jumping on the person and going for their eyes balls and practicing my punches. Now I use this mental preparedness for reassuring others that if someone attacks us I will go rabid animal on them lol. But yes it’s sad when our community can be sooooo judgemental when we ourselves should treat others how we would want to be treated and go from there. If you need to defend yourself then do it but don’t be in defense mode all the time the stress is not worth it lol.

Im a Christian now but i grew up atheist and shared a lot of sensibilities against religion. I love your production and i think this was a REALLY insightful video, but I also just want to apologize on behalf of Christians for any harm they may have caused you or others here in the name of religion. But those who use Christianity to hurl insults, or claim you are a disappointment for liking the same sex, or kick people out of their families, or use their ignorant preconceptions of a people they know nothing about to hurt them are not behaving like Christians. Our bible does tell us to share what a sin is yes, but we are not permitted to condemn people to hell because that in itself is a sin. And we are called to be gentle in our religion. Christians don’t change minds, neither does shock therapy, we’re only called to represent our beliefs the best we can and work on ourselves every day. But were all humans so naturally culture and ignorance can sometimes keep us so stupid that we don’t uphold that and hurt people in the process. I think you’re a bright, funny, and talented individual and im sorry that people have used Christianity to hurt you. I do not think you are evil, and the love you have for your dogs, and the love you have to remind people of the LGBT+ community about behaviors that can cause destruction of relationships I think shows how capable of love you are which I think a true Christian should take into account before sinfully using hypocrisy to make you or other members of of the LGBT+ community feel lesser than. Even though I’m a Christian I still have my own sin that makes me no better than a non-Christian or a member of the LGBT+ community so Christians behaving like they are perfect and you are not, have no idea what theyre talking about and probably forgot to read their own book. I have love for you and others that are going through it. I genuinely wish you and others navigating through this hectic world a long, peaceful, and happy life.

Homosexuallity does not equal any peticular type of "gay" culture. It's just a description of sexual orientation. "Gay" on the other hand, describes a diverse culture with many groups and subgroups , some of them negative others positive. Sweet dreams are made of these.

Have you ever allowed your brain to consider the idea that homosexuality is actually caused by trauma? That homosexuality could be an actual coping mechanism to get through whatever trauma was experienced? I've had many gay friends and every single one of them had a horrific childhood experience whether it was being sexually molested, abandoned by a parent etc.. If you truly believe there's nothing wrong with homosexuality, then the idea that one could CHOOSE to be a homosexual shouldn't be offensive. Why do homosexuals feel the need to uphold the idea that all were "born this way", what would be wrong with choosing it?

I am a queer man in New Orleans that's Black, so I experience all of this toxicity and a whole lot of racism. I use to be apart of the community, but I stay away now. And when they see me, it's all lies about who I am. I had a job working inside The French Quarter and the entire community got me fired. I feel alone and not apart of anything. Yet I am a whole lot Happier because I am not a part of that community.

I agree with much of what you are saying. I’m a 61yr old gay man. My partner and I where together for 30yrs. He died three years ago so now I’m alone for the first time in many years. The gay community is really a difficult place to navigate. Good people are out there and I hope you find them eventually. I live in texas unfortunately. There is a “gay pride” organization not too far from me. I reached out to them after my partner died. The guy I spoke to on the phone was very nice. However, when I dropped by there location the guy I spoke to was not there. There were two people there a young man and a female. They were pleasant enough, but when the man went out of the room the female leaned over and told me they were mostly for the youth. I didn’t think much about it at the time. Later when I got home I thought it was offensive. I didn’t realize you stopped being gay after a certain age. Anyway, I left a poor review on their site. Nobody contacted me to see what happened. Nobody contacted me to say that should not have happened. It just reinforced to me that older gay people are not wanted there. I looked at the reviews again and they had removed mine. All the other reviews are just good ones. Such as life.

Some good points are made about abuse and drug usage in the nightlife, but the way you turn this into a vilification of the gay community (cf. "the truth the gay community don't want you to know" as if these bozos were hiding anything scheming in the shadows) and the lack of reflection on the statistical significance of these phenomenons make your points false or at least useless.

After your story, I've just hit the subscribe button. Fortunately, I haven't lived such a horrible experience but from this, I can see a moral of your story: It doesn't matter how tall, muscled, trained in fighting you are, we are all vulnerable to being raped. One sip, and bam. Even worse, they targeted your drink in a bottle that you carried, which is VERY scary. It doesn't matter if you went to a place for sex, if it's not consensual it is rape. It's NOT your fault. There was nothing you could do, it was so insidious that this could happen to anyone.

I believe I can connect with this. Im a 32 year old gay man. I started to get feelings for a guy in my early 20s, and we had a good thing going, and I thought he was going to be my boyfriend. I felt he had feelings for me but started to ignore me and not talk to me when a girl came into the picture. I blocked him in 2016 after he was playing games with me. Fast forward to 2017 and met another gay man. We had a good friendship going for 4 years and started to get deep feelings for him. I finally got a chance to meet him in 2021. After spending a day and half together, he started to distance himself from me. I wanted to talk to fix things with him, but that was no use. It woke me up to how much of a sociopathic person he was after thinking about what he's done over the course of our friendship. He emotionally used me for years and even went after my weight, telling me to eat more so thats mental abuse, but because i was new to romance, I didn't notice anything wrong at first. I got rid of him after about 5 months of terminal heartbreak. Today, i feel stronger, but i never lost my nature of being a good hearted person who can love anyone.
