Do you completely dunk the lifter in oil before putting it in the tray should it be completely oiled?

Change them quick mine had hydraulic roller bearings in bottom pan heard that noise about three weeks already kilt lifters hopefully cams good we will see

What brand lifters did you buy? I bought a 05 4.8 and I’ll be replacing head same thing as yours I might add a cam not sure yet just looking to see my option on lifters

Motion raceworks makes a steering wheel removel kit and parts that work on factory steering columns with GT Grant hub adapter to put the two pieces with quick lock and installs when bolted to steering wheel quickly they offer steering wheels that have 5&6 bolt to connect to quick lock hub they built I have one myself for our 92 s10 427ci SBC procharged.

The debris flapper on my 2011 came off and would partially block the fill neck kicking the pump off. So damn annoying. Looks like yours is off also when looking at 8:16 on the video. Could be wrong though.

Need to check the purge valve to make sure it is opening and closing

I bet the gastank vent valve was stuck shut it should be open when key off

Is it safe to push down the lifters with the push rods?

So its around $10k for the trailer and $35k for the truck? Not suprised. Am suprised it's not blown up or crashed

How many pounds for the rocker arms? And also did those exaust bolts break all the way down because i have two I need to remove and did extractor work well usually I would heat the bolts and use shit out PB blaster. 😂

Have any of you had a vehicle like that built by a race car shop? If you can't do it yourself, it would be $40k+ for just the truck (and a paint job) I had a 88 Monte SS fully custom restored and cost me over $30k parts and labor. New GM ZZ350 NA 430hp crate motor, Brand new T56 six speed, 9" 410 posi, etc.I Sold it ten years ago for $10k with 500 miles on it and hard to find a buyer.
