i love video series like this. the only downside to this one is from what little i watched he showed nothing on the take off and landing. the best part of single pilot vlogs are watching the pilot on the ground (getting clearance, outbound taxi and take off, approach and landing and inbound taxi, etc.) still pretty cool to see someone fly a small ga plane from london to Australia. on my next days off i am going to watch the whole series.
@@dannycnoble Hi Danny, Thanks for the comments. If I showed all the clearances, taxi, takeoff and landings the videos would be hours long. That’s not what I’m going for, it’s an overview of the flight and where I travelled to. Once I start watching videos of pilots taking clearances and taxiing, I generally turn off. But it depends on what you want.
Sweet my friend ♥️♥️♥️
Hi John, great video. A lot of improvements with Garmin since we flew together in the 2010s on SRs. I love my Mirage with G500 and GNS530x2. Not that far away. Filestream 210 is just genius, got it as well. I guess my N930Z past history was in Denham at the time you instructed me there on IFR. Most of my flights are IFR, because of you. Take care.
awespome

Hi from Malaysia! Didn't expect any VJ actually landed in Malaysian soil until I saw this haha
@@despacitoRC I’ve delivered 2 via Penang
Cutting away from the landing in Cannes to yourself talking on the tarmac? What the heck was that
Thanks for the rude reply. Sometime as an instructor you can’t video while holding the camera and making sure your student is not going to have issues while land. So what the heck!! Is a safety point.
I think these videos of yours are the best videos on TH-cam Waiting to see more content like this UK to New Zealand next time 👍
Hey mate, do you think you could do the same journey with 4 adults instead of 2?
@@georgeamiouni8864 Yes, but you’d need to put in more fuel stops.
Thanks for the quick reply! What sort of range would you say a payload of 4 adults and 60kg baggage produce?
@@georgeamiouni8864 600-700nm ish
Miss you
What an epic journey and education on those airports, Great Job John!!
So Great job Guys!!!!!! Bristol UK
I'm a Brazilian man from Bristol - UK Thank you for posting this great show!!!
Bristol UK
Used to live near Broome about 9-10 years ago now. Still as beautiful as ever. Funnily enough, other than the new RFDS hangars, the airport hasn't changed much since.
A journey I have always wanted to make in a light aircraft, too old now, but it was great to do it vicariously. Great set of videos
when coming into Calcutta please make sure to recycle the air in the cabin
Spend 1.5 million more for a Honda Jet and you will have a lavatory. Why would you want a Cirrus with 1100 mile range with no lavatory, your going to have to stop en route. Honda Jet is faster, safer, smoother, more fuel efficient, quieter, internal cabin more spacious, and has a lavatory
Welcome to your colony gays
Good. Do you think it's possible cross the Atlantic Ocean from Africa to South America?
Takes a lot of balls to fly a quarter way around the world with a single engine plane, much respect bro....!!!!! ✌️
Specially without a lavatory…a used Honda Jet is about 1.5 million more and is faster, safer, quieter, more fuel efficient, flies higher, and has a lavatory.
I'm very interested to know average distance covered before refueling
My dream ❤
What about toilet?
Don’t need a toilet. We don’t fly for more than 3 hours typically.
@@johnpage8364 how was your cruise speed and fuel burn? What is max safe range? First part was about 700nm is it max?
We cruise at 310-315 KTAS, 65 USG per hour and a range with reserve, depending on the wind of 900-1000nm.
☺ Alhamdulillah
Amazing visuals. Crossing the Atlantic in a GA is a dream of mine. How did you end up doing this? Are there ferry flight jobs one can apply for? Still stuck at 63 FH as PPL, but this is work I could see myself doing if ever going commercial. Thanks for the upload!
I like your channel John, but the music adds nothing and cheapens the video.
1:44 .. this is SO typical of India! I worked there for 2 years in IT, and as soon as you described what was happening, I thought "yep, that's India". They probably needed 13 forms and permission from the Mumbai governor in order to use a tow bar. 😄
The journey across the world is very tiring but looks simple in this video... Thx
Thank you for making lots of videos like this, you even intend to edit the videos. I really like the journey which is very tiring but I really enjoy the view
I really like small planes, thank you for giving a very beautiful picture that these small planes can circle the world
Thank you for sharing your journey. I pray that one day I get to own one of these bad boys & travel the world!
Does this plane engine have reverse when landing
Do you have to show your passport at every airport you land at. Also did any of these countries give you a hard time after landing. Some of the atc was hard to understand when I could hear them. Didn’t realize that temperature had that big of a performance drop on turbine jets also
Dose the cirrus jet have a washroom bc i couldn’t imagine holding it in each leg oh my
No, But each leg is not more than 3 hours. I can hold it that long.
Amazing video, thank you for sharing. Just saw a few Cape Air P2012's in Boston a few weeks ago, maybe one of them was one of these....jajajajaja. Happy landings my friend.
Great video John
Thanks Kevin.
exceptional - I use the Can I Go and FIGS Altitude acronyms for two years now on my Cirrus and do not want to miss it ever - it has changed my flying profoundly - thank you !!
Thanks For the comment. It’s exactly the reason why I teach.
hi John . nice to see you Cracking video as usual. Good info very well explained 😎
very nice. but no survival dry suit?
Thanks. Yes I have one. And all the required equipment.
Good to see you back John….
Thanks.
Brings back great memories. Thanks for posting! Who did the flight planning/handling for the trip?
Does that plane have cowl flaps ? If so they should be closed in cruise so they can stay warm !
I really enjoy flying this incredible aircraft through Microsoft Flight Simulator.
I've just flown across Turkey in mine 😊 ... unfortunately it was inside my computer 😂
I know the Tecnam P2006 Twin uses 2 x Rotax 912iS engines. I take it this larger P2012 has larger engines? What type are they?
Yes, They are FADEC controller Lycoming IO-540, 375HP per side.
raftering the ads just the right time for this projects by elon masc. greatly
Love the color scheme, John do you ever get to be the PIC, you are always sitting in the right seat. beautiful aircraft happy flying taka care love you al enjoy this wonderful aircraft!l Brilliant video guys beautiful aircraft happy flying taka care love you all
Looks a great plane, I'm glad we getting a great one in MSFS very soon and I prob recreat this trip! Thanks for sharing super job. ❤👍
With so many legs and hours did the aircraft need any repairs, or maintenance along the many legs and journey or did it all go smoothly? Loved the livery on this Vision very nice. Very nice trip, great to see was suprised about all the spray in the cabin with you in it stuff etc!!! 😂 Good job by all 👍
11,000 is nothing in the life of a Visionjet. I'd guess fuel and a few quartz or oil as top ups.
