Although I'm generally a Beach Boys fan, "Pet Sounds" has too many tracks that are too similar and too lacking in impact for me to be considered the "finest album ever made." That said, I currently don't have an album I consider "The Best of All Time." I'm 70 so I need to get on the ball and pick one, but it's not easy. There has been many great albums I fell in love with but such feelings often never last.

This is of some of james best lyrics The repetitiveness of "I'm digging my way..." "I'm pushing to stay..." indicates a habit or routine of how he is living his life. More so searching for something better rather than striving for it. The next two verses indicate a sense of reflection and enlightenment. He realises that in his life what he is searching for cannot be found because he continues to make the same mistakes. We all know the saying "we reap what we sow". It's almost as if he is saying I had no idea the seeds I planted would give me so much but what comes with that is also the burden he bares. The leeches in his life are the people constantly wanting more from him and sucking the life out of him. Then he describes how he is asking for a cure or a way for it to stop. "Caught under wheels roll" clearly to me identifies he has no cure or answer to his problem so the cycle continues. That's why the song ends the way it starts.

This thorn in my side This thorn in my side is from the tree This thorn in my side is from the tree I've planted It tears me and I bleed And I bleed Caught under wheels' roll I take the leech, I'm bleeding me Can't stop to save my soul I take the leash that's leading me I'm bleeding me I can't take it Caught under wheels' roll The bleeding of me Of me The bleeding of me Caught under wheels' roll I take the leech, I'm bleeding me Can't stop to save my soul I take the leash that's leading me I'm bleeding me I can't take it Caught under wheels' roll The bleeding of me The bleeding of me I am the beast that feeds the feast I am the blood, I am release Come make me pure Bleed me a cure I'm caught, I'm caught, I'm caught under Caught under wheels' roll I take the leech, I'm bleeding me Can't stop to save my soul I take the leash that's leading me I'm bleeding me I can't take it I can't take it I can't take it The bleeding of me YEAHHHH BLEED MOTHERFUCKER!!!!!

22:50 That tank is not right. It looks like the tank from San Andreas, albeit with side doors, but not like the tank I remember from Vice City. Over all though, stellar review. As has been said many times before, the constantly repeating music might not have been the right choice, but that really is my only complaint.

10/10 review, just saw this! I’ve been burnt out on my first replay since probably 2012ish, and it’s mostly because of act 2 mexico like you said. I’m excited for act 3, and should be almost done with act 2.

This s a great review of GTA 4, but I disagree with you on 1 thing, Vladivostok FM is the best radio station in vanilla GTA 4, it has plenty of iconic Russian songs from the 90s & early 2000s. In 2018, when R* lost the licenses for all those songs, they replaced every single song (except 1 because it was made for GTA 4) and replaced it with less iconic Russian songs.

Vice City is the best game in the series by a country mile to for me. I was born in 1985, so I wasn't old enough to remember living through the second half of the 80s. I was 17 years old when Vice City released and it immediately made me look at the 80s with nostalgia even though I grew up in the 90s. It got me into Miami Vice which I am currently binging and love everything about it. Everytime I watch Miami Vice it instantly makes me think about Vice City. There are a lot of Miami Vice easter eggs including Crockett and Tubbs making an appearance.

Brian Wilson heard the US version of Rubber Soul. Very different track list. For one it had I've Just Seen A Face instead of Drive My Car. Capitol wanted it to sound like a folk rock album so the Motown influences were downplayed.

5:20 Wait a minute. Snake originally had his jump spin kick combo from MGS2 in the beta of MGS1? I wonder why they changed it. The MGS2 combo was always my favorite out of the franchise (next to Big Boss' MMA style mix up in Ground Zeroes/Phantom Pain).

James' father (Virgil Hetfield) leaves home when James is 13 years old. Hetfield talking about his personal struggles as a teen when his father, virgil hetfield, abandoned the family when the singer was only 13 years old. "he left without saying goodbye," hetfield recalls in the documentary. "he left a note, and it wasn’t even to me. i wasn’t the man ... i wasn’t taught to step up." over time, the elder hetfield made an attempt to reconnect with his famous son and was even filmed in a brief interview for the band's 1992 two-part documentary, 'year and a half in the life of metallica,' which was based around the making of the group's 'the black album.' during hetfield's interview he unearths the emotional undertakings he faced while trying to re-establish a relationship with his father. "it feels so weird saying this but, i really tried to get close with him again ... get back together ... but it was never close. [it was] very surface-y." During that time, James Hetfield describes it as follows: James, born in 1963, his father, Virgil Hetfield, leaves home in 1976. Sixteen years later, in 1992, during the period of the Black Album when they started to gain a lot of fame and money, his father Virgil Hetfield suddenly reappears. During this time, he shows closeness to James and tries to benefit from him, taking money from him and constantly trying to be around him. However, this closeness doesn't translate to James. Between 1992 and 1996, this period turns into agony for James, along with childhood traumas. Virgil Hetfield dies in 1996, spending his last few years battling illness. This period from '92 to '96, marked by major emotional outbursts and dilemmas, coincides with the writing of the Load and Reload albums. It's a tumultuous period where you both hate and love, but you're uncomfortable with the falseness you see instead of the closeness and love you expected when he resurfaced, and you want him to leave but suffer because of it. And those are the words that spill out: it = he (his father) sleeps = die where do i take this pain of mine? i run, but he stays right by my side so tear me open, pour me out there’s things inside that scream and shout and the pain still hates me so hold me until he sleeps (die) just like the curse, just like the stray you feed him once and now he stays now he stays so tear me open but beware there’s things inside without a care and the dirt still stains me so wash me until i’m clean he grips you, so hold me he stains you, so hold me he hates you, so hold me he holds you, so hold me until he sleeps so tell me why you’ve (his father) chosen me don’t want your grip don’t want your greed don’t want it i’ll tear me open, make you (his father) gone no more can you (his father) hurt anyone and the fear (babası öleceği için) still shakes me so hold me until he sleeps he grips you, so hold me he stains you, so hold me he hates you, so hold me he holds you, holds you, holds you until he sleeps i don’t want him so tear me open but beware there’s things inside without a care and the dirt still stains me so wash me... till clean i’ll tear me open, make you (his father) gone no longer will you (his father) hurt anyone and the hate (to his father) still shapes me so hold me until he sleeps until he sleeps

As a recovering addict who looks up to James I was waiting for someone to do an in depth analysis of James's addiction and you nailed it! I will be 2 years this July and I plan to have many more in the future! I will say my favorite section of the video was you touching on the concept of recovering addicts like myself being in denial of the fact that we miss drinking. I've had a far easier time staying sober than most I would say yet I still miss the nights of getting dumb drunk with friends while gaming and just not caring. I basically had to some because my blood work showed my liver enzymes were high. In the end though it brought me much happiness and peace as you stated and I don't regret my decision to stop remotely.
