Show had such potential but quickly went campy. Sad.

As a kid, the first season of Lost in Space got my attention immediately. The idea that I would get to see the Jupiter 2 visit various planets in its journey. They, in the second season, it got stuck on a single planet for years and I quickly lost interest. It quickly became "Lost on a the Same Planet Forever."

Very cool take-off sequence. Nice visuals. This was one of my fave shows as a kid. I'm sure everyone in the comments section feels that way.

This was MY SHOW as a kid. It only came on once a week and of course the folks watched Gunsmoke and other programs however when this came on, it was MY time! I believe it was every Wednesday and always ended in still tuned till next week! How things have changed.

As a 10 year old, I was spellbound with LOST IN SPACE.

The musical scores in Star Trek were great, but I liked the ones in Lost in Space even better. Nothing since has captured the imagination better!

The J2 model is such a joke! There is no lower level! Where did the chariot go? The space pod? All their drilling equipment, chairs, tables, washer and dryer, robot.

Nostalgia. I was never bothered by the size of the ship, clearly below what was necessary for what they showed inside. My focus was on the imagination of being in space, as well as, of course, hating Dr Smith with all my might. The Robot was the "icing on the cake" and a dream come true.

Eh. The outside shots were okay. Inside, the producers clearly didn't know anything about space's lack of gravity...the two actors falling about as if standing on Earth during an earthquake.

It was a very good television show. 👍

Christmas morning and I've been watching this 4 times and counting

I enjoyed this show as a Kid, it always killed me how Every single Planet they walked out into had Earth’s perfect Atmosphere, Temperature, Gravity, Pressure and Radiation, the chances of having one of these on any Planet let alone everyone was/ is Astronomical 😵‍💫

Lost in space was good at first when everyone was really trying but then the entire show became a slapstick cartoon of itself.

Never missed this as a kid, now as an adult I remember they were trying to get to Alpha Centauri, 100,000 light years away,don't think the ship is fast enough though 😂

Jupiter 2: small scratches on hull… some blown circuits. Will be back at 100% by next episode. Alpha: total destruction. Many lives lost. Will be back at 100% by next episode.
