Thank you for your question. Simple answer is to start memorizing the SAT and practice tasting wines looking at the SAT. Make few tasting notes like this. Practice and it will become second nature. Read, watch videos, practice making tasting notes. I hope this helps. Stay Thirsty and Wise

Very good question. I did my WSET L2 in Wines online, I did not do L1. I had some wine knowledge. I passed because I was interested and prepared well. You are not tasted on WSET for PX. What you need to know about PX is that is used as a sweetener to make dry Sherry sweet. Focus your attention on the dry Sherry styles and know the names of sweet Sherry. I hope this answers your question. Stay Thirsty and Wise

But also to answer your original question. Yes PX is fortified during fermentation, but also the grapes are air dried to get me concerned and stop the fermentation naturally and wines are fortified to around 15%
