IMO, Dark Saber makes you win harder a game you were already winning which is why I'm not super high about this card. On the other hand, Poe is crazy good.

Kylo and snoke feel overrated

I'm superscared about DarkSaber Sabine since the day the reveal that card. I mean I know I'm complaining about the obvious but does it really need that? xD I mean most of the time you are already on the back foot against that deck, now you have to deal with a 6/8 (+1damage) at turn 3? Cmon xD

By the end of set one I don’t think i could land a wing leader on Sabine at all lol. Control was waiting with takedown or power or a force choke. On top that there’s entrenched and no good to me dead. I could buy a gar Saxon or Bo katan mando tribal deck running it but I think I have to see it to believe it in Sabine

It’s interesting that we also thought the double aspect cards were bad in set 1

Wondering if Dj or old han gets an errata. Tech plus dj smuggles at 5 and lets han permanently destroy an opponents resource. Not hard to pull off and that 2 resource swing almost instantly wins games against a good amout of decks.

I feel like we are about to own all the same showcases. 10/10 as always! Very excited for Han

I've had success so far running Outflank out of aspect. I usually play it when I have a board developed and I can use Han's ability to build afterwards as well too. May want to try it in that open fire slot.

R2 with Karabast seems really strong vs Aggro

Rancor is terrifying! Can deal with the Poo and Wrecker, but Rancor for my style of deck is rough

Played this at my final set 1 showdown. Deck is really good, did 2-2 and sadly just missed the cut. 2-1 Luke Green 0-2 Boba Green not even close 2-0 Luke Green 1-2 Boba Green much closer, could have won. (Really would have loved to play against something else) Del Meeko and R.G. are MVP’s.

Something weird about Val. Either FFG changed the rules for triggered ability precedence or Val is misprinted. Rules as currently written the active player doesn’t choose the order of Val’s abilities. The active player chooses what player triggered abilities first and then that player chooses the order of their abilities.

You can also use Tech with DJ, and he smuggles out for 5 and single cunning thanks to Tech's ability

Thanks for this overview. I've watched a couple videos about the new leaders now, and I think you gave me the most detailed breakdown (and fair assessment) of why some will be impactful or not. I'm excited to see Qi'ra in action, because I really like the blue green villain, but don't care for the actual ip characters of Krennic or Iden. I also would like to see the Bossk and Mando decks work. I was excited for young Han, and still am probably, but think that this set gives a lot red Sabine. So those two decks would compete for the cards I own. Overall great video, and just building my anticipation to open some packs at the prerelease.

I just wanted to say thank you for making this video. I watched it a couple of times, and made a last minute decision to play Krennic at my store's show down last night. I ended up winning the event without dropping a game.

finally got decent results playing unlimited. Went 3-1 with this deck having two mirror matches and only losing to Palp/green that triple ramped both games into relentless to close me out, not sure how I can beat that but at least I feel like I have a chance vs the rest of villain green decks

Who do you rate more highly, old Han or new Han? Do you think they will play drastically differently?

I hate qi ra. Yes flipping and then overwhelming barrage is good. But flipping into opponents overwhelming barrage ends the game against you and they automatically go after you. Aphra worst in set. Han and Jabba top.

Aggro still seems really tough, the ramp and play bigger units seems to just get countered by swarm

I really want to play an out-of-aspect Firespray in Good Boba. Maybe an entire playset because it's a direct damage for 8 (you must be playing Yellow how your secondary aspect). Firespray is mainly for U Wing Reinforcement.
