A nice breakdown. I am biased as Krennic Green is my go to. Played in three local showdowns, won two and 2nd in another (15, 11 and 22 players). I have Relentless in the sideboard for the harder control match ups and it helped beat two Iden red mill decks and a Krennic green mirror. Didn't face any double blue decks though. Small sample size for sure but in a smaller meta I think its a good deck against the field. I am on the Krennic side for blue green because he's more punchy with his leadership ability and that extra few points of damage also helps vs other control decks.
I'm high on Krennic and Blue/Green in general right now, and I agree that the Relentless plan (with regional governor and stuff like Emperor's Legion) make for a very good strategy against the Hard Control. Nice work winning your showdowns!
In my testing with others (TowerNumberNine etc), Green Sabine is slower in the mirror. I've done some interesting math with Frank. Green Sabine wins in less actions, but Sabine Yellow can cheat out more actions with things like Sneak Attack. The mirror is VERY luck based. But I'd say Yellow is probably slightly favored simply because of Falcon, Surprise Strike, and Sneak Attack. I will say I know that some bigger creators sort of pushed Green Sabine early (ECL was sort of the most hated card), I think that made a deck like Yellow Sabine "look bad". But as you know, Sneak Attack is absolutely broken card in a small meta.
It's interesting that different people are coming to different conclusions about this particular match up. It's hard to really determine, and I'm sure pilot skill will also play a huge role.
You could be right, but I don't think that "Green Sabine wins in less actions, but Sabine Yellow can cheat out more actions with things like Sneak Attack." means that yellow is favoured against green, given that green tries to dominate board early. So yeah, Sabine Yellow is probably better when goldfishing, but in the games I played green is more likely to get the board lead to be slightly faster.
@@ignithas3150 it pretty much comes down to if they draw rebel assault, surprise strike and sneak attack. Thats often the entire matchup. Sad to say, but it’s really that shallow. Or who draws wing leader. There’s some nuance there, but that’s the majority of what determines the match. Regarding winning in less actions, Frank from the Orlando tournament and I have done some math. Green gets to 25 in less actions but Sabine can cheat out more actions with sneak and falcon. Yellow can also get to 25 damage before green can get to 30. That 5 life is extremely relevant
Love your Chirrut deck. Sad we don't see him a lot in big tournaments. It deserves more visibility to take off cause it's really really fun (compared to mill strat 👀). Only 4 people / 141 were playing it at the Florida 5K.
Luke Green for sure? With the slower midrange. I'd include GI green if including chirrut, although no major event wins. What about sabine red and maybe boba blue?
It's not easy, but after tuning the deck and changing the main game plan (basically go full aggro vs. them), the match up has started to feel pretty close.
@@iamwooooo in my experience you need a good cunning turn to win, and if they can keep your board fairly clear, that becomes very difficult. In regards to tuning, which cards do you think do extra work here?
Yeah, Cunning is definitely the swing card in the match up. In general, trying to close the game out very fast is how yellow wins that match up. The card pool isn't huge, so there aren't that many options so to speak for the mono deck.

@@iamwooooo I agree that there are differing opinions. Pilot skill is a large factor for sure. Wish there was more compiled data.

Fantastic breakdown!
Thank you!
Great content, have you got any tips on what to sideboard into a Sabine Green deck vs. Han Command- it's a tough matchup!
Han is definitely challenging for Sabine! Probably need to pivot hard to ground if they Falcon, try to get key exp on units to avoid breakpoints
Thank you!
I'm surprised to not see Red Leia on this list. Her aggro deck is way better than Sabine imo.
I think she's a step below Sabine personally.
Oure Store Tournament was won by a han Red, mostly build Like a Sabine yellow, but way faster with all the Ressourcen Advantage and early Drops
Nice! Cool to see more things succeed
Love your Chirrut deck.

Only 4 people / 141 were playing it at the Florida 5K.
My cousin was one of those 4. He has done really really well in our local meta with his chirrut
I can see it growing in popularity. It's definitely a solid choice.
Incredible video :D, what about anticontrol decks like jyn cunning?
Can't say I'm too familiar with that one
Blue soft Control is having an identity crisis! Lol 😂 poor Palp
Yeah :(
I won a store showdown with Chirrut. Its the most fun to play i think
Congrats!
Which is why I sideboard Power Failure in my red decks.. 😅
Great Breackdown
Thanks!

Welp, should have waited the last few min 😅
Hah, yeah did include 2 of those. I think GI green is a step below Vader Green and mono red sabine a bit behind the two I talked about.
Great stuff
Thanks!
"There's not much that eats up boba yellow" - in my experience boba green is a tough MU for this deck: thoughts?

In small part, it's also because bobas are dropping seasoned shore trooper and some Cartel Spacer too.
If you had to bring a deck to tourney what would you bring?
This changes for me a lot, but right now probably Chirrut or mono yellow Boba
I dont necessarily think luke is that bad into boba green, boba yellow on the other hand is definitely super rough.
Mono yellow is harder for the Green Luke (9x bounce effects). I still think he's a bit behind green too though.
Wooooo!
Thats it thats the comment
And it's a great comment.
I think Sabine Red is a very underrated deck that few take seriously.
It's just not as good as the others. Not nearly as much payoff for having a second red aspect vs yellow or green
It's solid, but in my opinion a step below the other two options.
Very original video idea ;)
Can't invent the wheel every time!
