Its possible to continue extending and minstrel still exists. Its not the best card in the deck anymore but its still a consistency piece. Seeing playable hands even in the presence of hand traps will still lead to a more likely positive outcome.

I have. The ceiling of the deck becomes even higher, but the consistency is slightly worse bc of extra bricks. The question though is: “Does this deck actually need a higher ceiling going 1st?” I think not bc most endboards are already an ftk. Also keep in mind that in the ocg Toad is banned, so the ice barriers provide a better end board than it is possible by pure mermails over there. Still the ice barrier engine is super cool and has potential. Ty for watching 💙🌊🧜🏻‍♀️

This deck can 1000% compete at locals. It is a very difficult deck to play though and requires a lot of practice and you need to familiarize yourself with a ton of combos. Regional level is a bit harder, but still possible. The deck is probably one of the scariest going first decks ever. Going second is where its main flaws actually show.

@@Zssprime even if there are people at the club who only play competitively at big events? How does the deck handle hts like perma, ash etc? can you overcome them?

@@nikiforos99 really like it, been trying for some time now. There was actually no real reason i didnt play it yesterday.🤣 The extra is tight in general, but it has cards that in some games you never use, which means you can utilize prosperity somewhat effectively.

@@LamboJ20 so if you actually play harpooner over the 3rd pike, you can actually make your first bahamut with harpooner then after you link bah off for anemone anemone can revive back the harpooner and go into the second bahamut/toad. Also sometimes you just make your first bahamut with dragoons/pike, then the second one with pike/harpooner

@@LamboJ20 droll and shifter werent as much of a problem this tournament. But id definitely prefer crossout/shifter over some of my side choices. Droll is kind of ok to play through, if you play with it in mind. Abysshrine helps a ton.

@@Zssprime I see, so to make double toad you always need access to coelacanth to get out the Harpooner? i'm playing a very similar list + the gunde, megalo and an Eria which i'm still testing but I might opt to cut Eria and Gunde alltogether. Was also siding Gameciel to search it with Eria or small world but i don't think it trades as well for the resources you have to spend.

@@EviShion i do think so. And if ve made a list i will share with you all very soon. Dont think it unfortunately is better than pure merlanteans, but i think it is the best way to play gishkis. With the support from suda i think it will be even better though.

It didnt actually put out too much work. The matchups werent great for it too though. Was decent against branded. I sided it in against snake eye as well, but azurune/desirae kinda counter it :/

@Zssprime Will do ty. Quick question: Do you think a higher count deck 50-60 with more bricks but also 3 Eria, Arias, small worlds could work? One reason to play 40 could be opening Ash called by for fuwaross but do we care other than that?
