I enjoy your concept. I’ve always loved that Gishki and mermails can be played together. I did it for years. So I applaud this because it’s emphasizing a synergy everyone wanted to ignore or didn’t quite have enough pieces. I think you have done some nice groundwork here exploring purely what you can do from searching 2 Gishkis off of your dragoons in some of your combos. It’s never been as valuable as it has been now to do so. I personally think moulinglacia is good but you gotta be making it and you gotta spend one of your dragoons searches on it. So this has stopped me from pursuing this
Thanks for watching. I 100% agree. I like moulin for the only fact that one diva can get you nereimanas and triple toad with elf, so if you open diva and any of your shadow/vision/focalization, you get to do all that and summon a moulin too! (Plus the deck can make dweller super easily, to discard safely) Also glad to see another fellow gishki admirer🌊 have a great day!
elf is dead, but we survived :P i posted a newer video showcasing some of the amazing things the deck can now do. (although after posting the video, ive thought of a billion new things XD) Thanks for watchiiing
This is great, I’d like to play but I want a stronger board going first in exchange for some utility. I’ve noticed 1-2 cards can get us a discard and 1-2 negates with a mouling sometimes, thing is mouli is kinda bad this format unless we make dweller first. I was thinking about that so in my head it’s either a hand loop build that poops out dweller and toad/s before mounlin or we focus on doing the same thing with one toad with a dweller possibly alongside it but really what I’m wondering is if we could reliably summon abyssgaos turn one? Ideas?
First of all thanks for watching and commenting ❤️ Secondly, 1-2 cards get us 3 omni negates (2 toads and elf revived the full toad afterwards) plus a monster negate-shuffle with nereimanas plus possibly 2 discards with moulin. I agree that moulin is kinda meh right now, but everywhere i make bahamut shark in these combos you can substitute it with dweller, i just didnt do it because i wanted to show off a more explosive board. You are 1000% correct on that though. In actual games where you have more resources you ll see that you can even handloop opponents’ entire hands 😅 it can be very very nasty! So over all you input is 1000% spot on, but the deck is extremely versatile in its combos once you learn how to pilot it, so i think it will accommodate for all your concerns ❤️
@@Zssprime I used to play the deck so I’m familiar with a lot but it’s deff gotten more explosive. I’m happy to see it can do that with one to two cards which gives us space for utility cards going second, I think ima give it a try! Especially after seeing that ice jade card!
Aww thank you so so much. it means a lot! Ill probably post a video featuring some duels soon, maybe a small discussion video and then ill wait for phhy realease to make a real life deck profile, and maybe post some locals results if i get the chance to use it around that time! Looking forward to posting all that as well. Thanks for watching
@@Zssprime Thanks man, you have been a great inspiration. The introduction of atlanteans into the new ghiski is just very flipping smart. I look foward to perfecting this archtype with you. If I have any further improvments on my side ill keep you updated. Cheers mate
Thanks for watching! im going to make a physical more in depth deck profile when hypernova, but until then, here is the decklist: -------Main Deck: Moulinglacia the Elemental Lord x1 Atlantean Dragoons x3 Gishki Shadow x3 Deep Sea Minstrel x2 Spright Carrot x1 Swap Frog x2 Gishki Abyss x2 Gishki Vision x2 Gishki Grim x3 Deep Sea Diva x3 Atlantean Heavy Infantry x2 Neptabyss, the Atlantean Prince x2 Evigishki Nereimanas x2 Evigishki Gustkraken x1 Deep Sea Aria x2 Aquamirror Focalization x3 Salvage x1 Gishki Photomirror x1 Gishki Icemirror x1 Gishki Aquamirror x2 Called by the Grave x1 ------Extra Deck: Baronne de Fleur x1 Herald of the Arc Light x1 Goyo Defender x2 Bahamut Shark x1 Abyss Dweller x1 Toadally Awesome x2 Gigantic Spright x1 Underworld Goddess of the Closed World x1 Marincess Coral Anemone x1 Bujinki Ahashima x1 Abyss Keeper x1 Spright Elf x1 I:P Masquerena x1
The nimble package can result in a lot of brick hands, this version is extremely consistent, you may try it yourself, but if you dont know the card you may feel like you still brick but if you figure out the combo lines it aint the case. Another reason is that nereimanas can be a super easy anti nib card. And there are a lot lot lot more reasons for itXD
I ve beeen in the lab for the last hour, ive thought of some great combos without elf that show potential. Ill post a video soon with a more concise opinion on the matter!
The biggest issue I see Is the looming threat of toad being banned next list(due to spright) and the lack of going second options cause deck spacing is so tight.
First of all, thanks for watching! Secondly, the deck is actually a much better and 10000% more consistent version of mermails, while also being able to run megalo-mizuchi if you want protection from super poly etc. In addition, the deck actually doesnt rely on its normal summon as much as it may seem, and it definitely has the ability to bypass a ton of oppressive end boards compared to mermails. this deck technically consists of two engines, the atlantean one and the gishki one, but the thing is that atlanteans can work on their own and so can the gishkis, whereas in a merlantean deck the mermails cant do sh.t alone. The deck is an evolution of the regular mermail deck, and the synergy of the gishkis and the atlanteans doesnt end with the combos showcased in this video. Now if your playstyle relies on handtraps you cn definitely fit them in, but they are 100% not needed, even if you go second. i can elaborate further if you d like. Lastly, id like to emphasise that im not dismissing your opinion, i am just mentioning mine
@@Zssprime i also wasn't trying to dismiss the deck by saying that, i just mean the reason mermail isn't meta currently is because its engine, while strong, isn't enough to handle the meta going second without HTs. I believe it's more consistent but admittedly I don't have much faith in decks that combo strongly but have few defenses. If you have any duels against meta I'd love to see how this fares against them. Cheers
Howls moving castle music marmed my heart buddy.

I should be free in a couple days to record if you still want to. So sorry about my availability. I’ve worked 14 days straight 😔

Why not add sprind and the nimble package?

Is this deck even worth playing now that Elf is banned?

@@Zssprime Thanks. I've been wanting to play this deck for months now and my heart absolutely shattered when I saw that ban.

icebarrier/icejades might help
these combos are dope but the deck needs hand traps or else it's just mermails 2.0
