Wow even before i watched the video I swear in my head I was thinking the way to beat a brawler is the jab and the reason I knew that was because I remember Mayweather talking about how in boxing everything comes off the jab.
He is not doing a lazy jab he is taunting the opponent to respond so that he can slide away and punish them. It's a mistake that Emmets corner made telling him topuria has a lazy jab entirely playing into his strategy. Even when showing this play out in your video that's exactly what happens. He lowers his jab jumps away and responds with a cross.

I'm older now and I have problems breathing do u have a one breath, one punch, knockout technique? lol, if not that can be a new video lol. Great teaching, when I did some martial art's back in the day, they do have you inhale through your nose to slow your breathing down. I hope to take boxing and some ground game judo ect.. when I can be in a better way, but some fights can only be won by faith. like health when medicine stops to work but u need to live anyway. oddly in my reality like you, but very different from anything else, I literally battle demons and fallen angels. I'm working on a book 3, actually that work together, and will show on TH-cam I'm guessing, what that's like. and this is a very real thing, so if attacked by an evil spirit or many at once, you have defense, and offence for anyone interested well wishes to u and yours

That’s totally correct i have 2 years of shadow boxing with weights everyday i noticed that it increases the stamina and precision more than speed .. and you feel lighter not faster
This is very possible as a tactic in a big space. Let's say i gotta survive against this type of fighter in a small cage or ring. Could u find examples and make a video on this instance?

Just remember, level change extremely important to. You right about lower elbows and keeping hands high, but look at his footwork...slightl level change is right up there with him winning so easily too. Great analysis, I really get it now.

I am in no way an expert on fighting, but I did see something that could be significant for Topuria's defense. Like you said, he stays light on his feet and also has a slight bounce, and his timing to attack or defend off that bounce is incredible. He can plant his feet and attack or counter and disengage, whether planted or not, so fluidly.

Topuria's boxing is so basic if it is a boxing but the fact this is mma is he beast out there. Every sport is different even if they have same set a skills.

Notice how good Ilia is at controlling the opponent with his hands while in action. Here there are good examples holding the back of emmets head. Vs Alex he holds him before the KO. Incredible Focus and awareness. Reminds me of Loma.
