no heads moving. no body language that sugests any real plesure from this music, no facial/emotional expressions from the two of you. maybe you two should not do Power Metal in general. its obviously not your guys taste. you can see when someone realy digs this sort of music, emotional wise etc... that was nowhere to be found here. wich is good, everyone its own. this was just not your taste i dig that.

Manowar is like Conan the barbarian singing straight from the frozen Cimmeria. Rhapsody of Fire is like a young boy singing about the power of his sword just before his first anal sex.

All three first releases are great! It's hard to pick overall favorite, but Battle Cry has the best tone of em all for me. Others still really great, too. Happy to have scored old US press some years ago on vinyl of it. In addition I do have represses of all three first. Would be cool to gather originals of the second and third release, though.

WTF?! Idk if people here in the comments are xenophobic or what, but Angra made a great, great cover, such as Death did too. If my life depended on choosing one, I would die. They are both awesome!

Cuándo escuche esa versión de esa banda tierra santa se me hizo bien graciosa y mala a la vez. Prefiero un millón la de dark moor. aparte de que es mucho mejor banda que la otra no le llega ni a los talones tierra santa. Mejor deberían reaccionar a otras canciones propias de dark moor que son mucho mejores que esta tal "canción del pirata"

Allow me a brief explanation about a great legacy left by maestro André Matos: his career began at the age of 13 as the lead singer of Viper, recorded his first album at the age of 15 and the second at 17. As a teenager he caught the attention of a German producer of great bands and was invited to record with him, thus Shaman's first album emerged. At the same time, André was studying music, where he graduated and conducting and lyrical singing. He was fluent, obviously, in Portuguese and English, as well as French, Spanish, German, Swedish and also spoke Japanese!! He not only brought lyrical influences to rock, but also northeastern Brazilian rhythms, such as baião, among others. T thank André for leaving 34 years of legacy, where he influenced many, but many, musicians around the world with his talent and charisma.

I saw Man O’ War open for Virgin Steele at a club called Sundance in Bayshore, Long Island in the 80’s. Virgin Steele was always great live. I would like a reaction to Noble Savage, I Will Come For You and Visions of Eden!

The big shortcoming of the Hu's version is that while the throat singing sounds good, it largely prevents them from emoting properly. Due to the instrumental of this song being so repetitive, I think James's voice really carries it, and a lot of that is due to how he emotes throughout the song to emphasize certain lines, you can hear the contempt in his voice as the speaker in the song talks condescendingly to the subject.
