How we're all one & interconnected, but still separate individuals, explained
Mystics and spiritual teachers often say we're all "one" and interconnected, but how does that work, exactly?
In this video, I explain what I learned and experienced through my own mystical oneness encounter, as well as what God and my angels have further explained and elaborated with me about it.
Thanks for watching!

    Thank you for sharing. Here are some reflections: *** Humans, as a race, are not inherently interconnected by default. Each individual is a distinct soul with their own free will. However, various factors, such as religion, culture, and shared values, can create meaningful connections among people. *** Every person has an independent will, allowing them to choose who they connect with and the basis for those connections. These choices reflect personal beliefs and values. *** Regarding the concept of loving God, which you emphasize repeatedly, have you considered why God must always be loving and never exercise judgment or punishment? As creation, can we dictate expectations to our Creator? While love is undoubtedly a central and expected attribute of God, what about justice? Justice ensures fairness, accountability, and the balance of moral order, complementing God's love.

    Hi David, First of all Thanks for making this video. I have always loved your work and this one is no exception. I have always felt it intuitively that we are all connected and I always feel good when I do good to others or to myself,it's like a marker that I am on the right path. But coming to the point that God created everyone thinking it would be an amazing addition to the universe, if it's true then why do we have murders, and crimes, ? How are these ppl a good thing to our planet?

    • @lovelightdavid
      @lovelightdavid 29 วันที่ผ่านมา

      That's an excellent question. I don't think God created them to be murderers or criminals. I think they're just souls making bad choices, that hopefully will sooner or later learn to be better and more loving souls. Most people don't do bad things because they're inherently evil. They do it because they're desperate, scared, hurting, unloved, don't see or feel they have any better options, etc. There's a famous quote from a book called "A Course in Miracles" that says, "Everything we do is either an act of love or a cry for help." That doesn't make harmful actions okay or right. But it does help us have love and compassion for those that do harm. There's a similar related quote within Christian circles that says, "Hate the sin, love the sinner." When people do bad, unloving things in the world, it creates multiple opportunities. One, it creates the opportunity for that soul to learn from their own actions (possibly not until their life review after they die), to feel how they made others feel, and learn what love is not and how they want to be and do better as a soul. Two, it gives other people the opportunity to be healers, helpers, defenders, heroes -- to serve others, which in itself is an act of love. And three, it gives the victims the opportunity to learn about healing, receive help from others, and maybe even one day achieve forgiveness, which are all also aspects of love, too. The evil actions are not good or okay. But when they inevitably happen, it gives many people directly and indirectly involved opportunities to learn and practice different aspects of love. We learn what love is in action. We also learn what love is NOT. We learn how to help others. We grow ourselves. Etc. That doesn't mean the victim should feel happy that evil happened to them. I'm not saying that. There's real suffering and loss and tragedy involved in some of these cases. But, in time, we can learn to heal, rebuild, find hope, overcome, become stronger, learn and practice unconditional love for ourselves and others, develop forgiveness (because nobody's perfect, and if you can one day learn to forgive your worst enemy, it's easy to forgive yourself and everyone else for much smaller things), etc. Sometimes, like in my personal case, ongoing pain and suffering and abuse taught me self-love and self-respect. It made me finally create healthy boundaries. It taught me how to love my enemies (even if I never saw or spoke to them again). It took many, many years... but eventually I was even able to develop compassion, empathy, forgiveness, and understanding towards my abuser. That doesn't mean what they did was okay or right. But good was able to come out of it, in the end. I grew. I learned, and practiced in real life, a deeper level of love than I ever had developed or accessed before. Does that make sense? I know it's a difficult, tricky, and sensitive subject. Evil is evil. But a greater good CAN come out of it, if we let it, if we try.

    • @lovelightdavid
      @lovelightdavid หลายเดือนก่อน

      Excellent questions. Truthfully, I wanted/planned to go deeper and answer a lot of these in this video, but the nature trail I was on suddenly got really noisy and busy. I'll have to do a separate follow-up video to go more in depth. But basically, to answer your questions right now: 1. I prayed to God all the time before this experience. Like, daily. I already had a strong connection and relationship with God, before this happened. 2. The experience changed me a lot. I saw myself, other people, and the world very differently. Because we're all interconnected, I realized that when something good happens to one soul, ALL SOULS directly or indirectly benefit. And when one soul is hurting/suffering, it affects us all too. No person's an island. Their health, happiness, and well-being matters to us all. So I don't feel jealous or envious when someone else has success or good luck. I'm genuinely happy for them. Because I know we're all connected and their good fortune ultimately benefits us all anyway. It increased my level of empathy for everyone. It showed me that there's abundant, overflowing, incredible unconditional love for ALL life, ALL souls in the universe. Every soul is included in this love. So even though I sometimes "feel" alone (while in a human body), the spiritual part of me knows better. I'm part of a universe that's teeming with life, and all life shares a connection with each other. 3. Part of the impact of this is, it actually motivates me to help, serve, and do good to others. Because of the reasons above. I'm not being kind or trying to help others because it's the "right thing to do"; I KNOW we're interconnected, and there's overflowing abundant unconditional love from God for us all, and I WANT to be a part of that flowing love and light. Because there's a piece of me in them and a piece of them in me, I WANT good things for others. I want others to feel happy, healthy, whole, healed, alive, fulfilled... BECAUSE we're connected!

    Hey David ! do what you want with this: Praying( i'm not saying to never pray ) most are taught to pray in desperate situations of fear or lack, as a result the energy sent is of despair/lack, a low vibration. This type of desire/prayer brings only results of the same vibration, in this case a LACK of results, or Low vibration results, bad, worse. A prayer should start with the premise that you already are worthy / deserving / full, for example: please help me reveal/meet the yadi yada that i already deserve. Dating In the same mentality, when you think you NEED to be in a relationship, as if it was an URGENT VITAL NEED, you are in a LACK vibration energy. LACK attracts LACK, low vibration, This mentality often forces people into relationships for the wrong reasons, i must do like my friends, oh they already have children etc. Most often, this results in bad or worse situations, divorces, being trapped, wives making more children to keep a unhappy husband... Notice the quality of the partners, often they are attracting low vibration people ( narcissists, egos, selfish, violent, addicts ). All those people trying to find their future husband/wife are constantly emitting this i NEED a partner/LACK energy. Guess what, that type of desire only brings LACK of results, or bad results, and many people do perceive these vibes as repelling during a first date( he she's boring/empty/does not make me feel good ). The key here is to swap perception, As you said, we already are enough YES, a wife or husband should not be a NEED but an OPTION, a BONUS. relationships being VITAL URGENT NEEDS have to become Optional BONUSES. When you understand this swap in perception, your base energy becomes I AM COMPLETE and FULL, I HAVE ALL I NEED ALREADY the new energy sent outwards is of abundance, fullness, wealth, peace From there, observe how people respond to your new energy, they will all chase after you like a super magnet. Notice the quality of the new partners, you attract what you send energetically, often they are high vibration people ( nurturing, respectful, loving, morals, principles, etc. ). my easy morning meditation 30secs: i am joy, i am love i am FULL of joy, i am FULL of love, i am an EXPLOSION of joy, i am an EXPLOSION of love <3<3<3

      Thanks for sharing this! Great advice. Coming from a place of lack, neediness, or desperation is NEVER a good place to try to manifest from. If someone is feeling lonely/desperate/needy... how would you recommend is the best way for them to feel better, so they can manifest what they want from a higher place/energy? I know you mentioned some affirmations you do every morning... but what else might you recommend, as well? Thanks!

      @@lovelightdavid The key goal is to raise one's vibration, in order to attract a high vibration partner, you may do those things: 1 laugh hygiene laughter is a way to raise vibration quick, find a show that you like, makes you laugh. i personally like the carbonaro effect, it's a prank hidden camera magic tv show. It's easy in this internet world to find content, but not all content is funny, and only you can define what makes you laugh or not, make it a new habit, at least laugh once a day, to maintain that energy daily. 2 focus on passions ultimately this love for the things you do, being so engrossed in a drawing or painting, or anything you create/write, this state of energy is a good one. In a modern life, you have to find time for at least one of your passions, even if it's singing 2mn while showering. 3 acknowledge your pre existing abundance many times, people disregard and ignore what they already have i have internet, i have hair, i have cognitive function, i can breathe without machine, i got functioning arms and legs, i can sleep without itching and bleeding (i had psoriasis), Whatever fits you, try find something to be grateful for, thank you universe, gratitude gratitude <3<3<3

      Awww. THANK YOU. You wanna know something? God was just speaking to me through you just now. Literally the day before you wrote that, I was praying and asking God for confirmation that I was actually helping people with my videos. I don't need to publicly share this stuff. And this video in particular shares some really personally vulnerable things. I don't have to put my private thoughts and feelings out there, but if it helps some people, I'm absolutely happy to do it! I want to help people. I want to help people feel loved. I want to help them grow closer to God, if that's something they want too. But I was having a human moment of self-doubt, not sure if I was actually helping anyone, if these videos were actually being a positive influence on anyone. So I prayed. Sincerely, honestly, from my heart. "God, if this is helping people, please give me some confirmation. A comment, email, or some other kind of feedback. I need to know..." And then you and one other person, within 24 hours, gave very positive, supportive feedback, confirming these videos are actually helping them. They are actually making a positive difference. So, I share that for two reasons. One, because it's true, and I want you to know that God just worked through you to answer one of my prayers. :) And two, as a real world example of how you can pray and talk to God. Just be honest. Keep it real. Talk to God about how you feel and what you need, from your heart. For example, in your case, you want to establish a relationship and deepen your connection with God. Put this into your own heartfelt words, but basically you can say something like, "Hey God, it's me. I want to have a relationship with you. I want it to be a deep and meaningful connection, too. I'm not sure where to start or what to do. Please guide me, show me the way, inspire me, lead me... Make it EASY for me. Meet me where I'm at. My heart is open. I want to know you personally and experience you directly. I want to be able to hear you too. Please help me do that." For example. Use your own words, whatever feels honest and authentic and meaningful to you. It can be simple. In fact, I recommend keeping it simple! :) You can say it out loud or in the silence of your own heart. It doesn't matter. God will hear you either way. You can say it only once or every day; whatever feels right to you. But know that God is hearing you the first time and each and every time you pray. You can do it anywhere -- in bed before you go to sleep, in the car while driving to work, even in the bathroom -- it doesn't matter! God is everywhere. All that matters is that your heart wants it and that you ask for it. Each person's journey is going to be unique. It might happen fast or slow. But the moment you ask, your journey has begun. But it's happening. You're on your way. All God needs is an open and interested heart. If you desire a relationship with God, God desires a relationship with you -- and will meet you where you're at, and help guide you and help you continue to grow the rest of the way. You don't have to be perfect. Nobody's perfect. As you deepen your relationship with God, God will help you grow into a better person along the way. With true unconditional love. With support and encouragement. With compassion. With infinite patience. It's like any new relationship. It grows naturally over time. But it starts with simply asking, "Hey, do you want to be friends?" :) You can absolutely ask that to God, too.

    As one who finds that, usually, churches prioritize unconditional love over correctness of doctrine, I'm curious what you make of the experience that David Alexander has had with Christianity (which makes up a substantial portion of the amount of churches (or, at least, church goers) in the world)? Personally, I've experienced a mix. Absolutely, some churches prioritize love, healing, unity, forgiveness, kindness, compassion, etc. Those are the great ones. Those I support. But I've also run into a few that were more concerned about "being right" and very much had a judgmental "us verses them" attitude. They used religion to feel superior to others. That's not love. But yeah, in my experience, I'd say "most" churches were more like what you've experienced. They may debate the nuances and details about some of their beliefs, but ultimately, their message and teaching is about love. And I think that's what's most important. Are they helping their members feel more love and be more loving overall? If so, they're a good one.

    Let us imagine the universe as a classroom and life as a test. Humans are the students, and God is the teacher. Now, consider which approach would be just: 1. The teacher gives all students equal time to prepare and then administers a standardized test. 2. The teacher allows each student to create their own test questions and prepare their own answers. Life presents humanity with three primary existential questions: 1. The Nature of the Soul and Its Fate After Death 2. The Existence and Nature of God 3. The Purpose of Life Throughout history, humans have attempted to answer these questions independently: 1. The Nature of the Soul *** Buddhists and Hindus: The soul is eternal and cycles through reincarnations across generations. *** Atheists: Often deny or avoid the concept of the soul, viewing it as a supernatural phenomenon lacking explanation. *** Abrahamic Religions (Judaism, Christianity, Islam): Agree that the soul is created by God and eternal but differ in their views of its fate after death. 2. The Nature of God *** Buddhists: Focus on self-realization and often disregard the idea of God altogether. *** Hindus: Believe in the existence of God but hold diverse and complex views, including polytheistic and pantheistic ideas. *** Abrahamic Religions: Provide a clearer and more unified definition: --------- Islam and Judaism: Agree on a singular, unseen, and all-powerful God. --------- Christianity: Views God as one being in three persons (the Trinity) and emphasizes the incarnation of God in Jesus Christ, who sacrificed himself for humanity. 3. The Purpose of Life *** Buddhists: Emphasize personal growth and kindness. *** Hindus: Believe in doing good deeds to escape the cycle of reincarnation. *** Abrahamic Religions: Teach that life is an opportunity to believe in and worship God: --------- Judaism and Islam: Emphasize worshiping one omnipotent, unseen God. --------- Christianity: Highlights faith in Jesus Christ as the path to salvation, though its understanding of worship differs. 4. The Main Point If God is real, it is reasonable to believe that He would provide humanity with a guide to answer these existential questions. And He has done so. But what is that guide? I encourage you to explore and discover this for yourself. Hint: The shared principles across Abrahamic religions stem from a single divine source. All these religions originate from revelations given by God. However, only one provides a universal, standardized guide and consistent test for humanity, reflecting the principle of justice from the same teacher to all students.

      Thank you for sharing all this. You're clearly an intelligent, well-educated person who cares a lot about the truth of God and purpose of life. I want to acknowledge and respect you for discussing this in an open, kind, and inviting way. You and I may not 100% agree on all points, but that's okay. We can discuss and explore it together, with respect and kindness towards one another. Because we're both human beings, doing the best we can, on this very important topic. If you're open to exploring this with me, I'm curious about something. You began your comment with the premise that the universe might be a classroom and life could be a test. That's actually a fairly common belief, shared by multiple religions and spiritual philosophies. And personally, I do agree that ONE of the reasons we're here (perhaps one of the biggest reasons, too) is for the soul to learn and grow. But is that the only reason? While it's true that many people believe Earth is like a school, some spiritual teachers have also said that it's like a playground; that we're also here to explore, play, have fun, and simply to experience life. To have a variety of experiences, for the richness of the experience itself. Some have suggested that God is experiencing all things, in part, through us. That God is infinite, and has to allow for all possibilities and experiences, and Earth (and each human life on it) is simply part of that infinite tapestry of life and experience. But that question aside, I also wonder about the "test" part. As humans, when a teacher gives a student a test, that student either passes or fails. But there's another definition of a "test" -- a more scientific one. When you "test" something in a lab, you're seeking to discover what's something made of, how it works, what state it's in, etc. Like, to use a super simple example, suppose a scientist receives a block of ice. They can "test" it to see what it's made of (water), discover its properties/attributes (cold, solid), and learn how it works (it melts when heated). Etc. What if when God tests us... it's more that kind of a test? Not a pass/fail test. But a "what are you made of, what attributes do you possess, how do you respond in certain situations?" What if we're tested not to see if we're going to heaven or hell, but rather to learn and discover who we are and what we're capable of as a soul... To reflect upon ourselves, to truly discover and know ourselves, to review who we are, what we've become, and contemplate the direction we're growing. If life is a test, I agree with you that a kind and loving God would send guides to help us. And there's countless spiritual teachers, messengers, guides, healers, sages, mystics, and more, all over the world, now and throughout history. All, in their own way and in their own words, teaching the same basic principles: be kind, be loving, be compassionate, be quick to forgive and slow to anger, create peace, treat others as you'd want to be treated, do not harm yourself or others, there's a loving higher power that's worthy of our worship and devotion, we are immortal spirits/souls in temporary physical bodies, there is an afterlife, etc. Humanity has been receiving these teachings and guidances as far back as we have records. I'm only human. I don't have all the answers. But "love" seems to be THE highest, biggest, most important teaching of all -- across the board, around the world, throughout most religions, etc. So that's what I aspire towards. That's my practice, my intention, what I seek, how I want to grow. If life is a test, I think "love" is the answer. I'm human and imperfect. I'm not always the best example of it. But overall, in general, as much as possible... that's the kind of soul I want to be. A loving one. Maybe Earth is a school... and we're here to learn about love. What are your thoughts? btw, I love talking about and exploring religion, spirituality, metaphysics, psychology, and philosophy. Thanks so much for creating insightful and meaningful discussion here. I appreciate you!

      @@lovelightdavid Hello David, I am Mohamed from Africa, a born Muslim. I am delighted to engage in this fruitful discussion with you. You raised several points, and I will address them one by one: *** Your First Point: Life is not a school and a test but a playground to enjoy, reflect, learn, and grow. *** My Response: Why not both? Humans naturally seek challenges and are curious by nature. They enjoy learning and exploring. So, why can’t life be both a serious school where individuals must discipline themselves and work toward achieving goals defined by a divine being, and at the same time, a playground where they can explore, grow, and enjoy the journey? *** Your Second Point: You mentioned that love is the most important teaching of all religions and the most important topic of live. *** My Response: I agree with the importance of love, but what about justice and truth? Let’s begin with truth: is truth subjective or objective? Justice can only be achieved if the truth is objective, especially regarding existential matters. For truth to be objective, a just, all-knowing, and all-powerful entity must define it. don't you agree with me? I bring up justice and truth to emphasize that love, while vital, is only one part of the universe. Topics like truth and justice are equally, if not more, important in creating a balanced and meaningful existence.

    • @lovelightdavid
      @lovelightdavid หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi Mohamed! Oh, yeah, totally. I agree that life can be BOTH a classroom and a playground. I think it is both of them -- as well as other things. As for the issue of justice, that's a really great point... and one that deserves a much more nuanced and thorough response than I can sufficiently give here in the comments. But in my own understanding, "justice" is more a human thing than a divine one. If someone hurts, harms, or wrongs us, we want justice. We want balance. We want fairness. We want consequences and punishments for those who do evil. Etc. But, as I understand it, God's more interested in our learning and growth. After studying countless true stories of near-death experiences (aka an "NDE", where somebody physically dies, visits the other side temporarily, and then is revived back to life and still remembers everything that happened on the other side), I've learned there's an event souls go through called a "life review". In that life review, they feel how they made other people feel, from those people's personal perspective. If we cause pain to another, we feel their pain, as if it were our own. As it's been explained to me, the life review isn't meant to be a punishment, however. It's a teaching tool. It's designed to create enlightenment, awareness, understanding, and empathy. It's meant to help the soul grow and realize, on its own, that it doesn't desire to do evil things or cause harm to others anymore. Also from my own mystical experience, where I saw and felt how ALL life in the universe is interconnected; a piece of me is in everyone, and piece of everyone is in me, and a piece of God is in all of us; our souls are actually extensions of God, like branches on a tree or fingers on a hand, to use a more relatable example. We all have free will. We're all unique, independent, separate entities too. But at the same time, we're also interconnected and "one" with each other too. It's a spiritual mystery that's hard to understand with our human minds, but that's what I saw, learned, and experienced myself. And because of that... because a piece of God is in each of our souls, God isn't interested in cutting off parts of itself, just because that part behaved badly. Instead, through love and compassion and guidance and encouragement, God wants to help that soul learn and grow, and show it that love really is the best choice. Some spiritual teachers say that the reason there's evil in the world is because our souls are here to learn about what love is -- and what love is not, through direct experience. And having experienced both the good and the bad, both love and non-love, the soul naturally eventually learns and realizes, "hey, love is definitely the better option -- I want to be and experience more of that!" Because souls are immortal and we have eternity, God can be patient with the process. "Judgment" implies a finality, an ending, a point of no return. "Bad was done, the event is over, now it's time to deliver the consequences." But what if the event wasn't over yet? What if there's still a chance for the soul, on its own, to realize its wrongdoing and make amends, reconcile, heal, do better, balance their own past hate with more love now? Human bodies are temporary, obviously. The "end" of a human life is when the body dies. But the soul is immortal, eternal, non-dying. It exists forever. So it ALWAYS has a chance to learn, grow, heal, and become better. It has no end. If you believe in reincarnation, perhaps that soul might need to go back into a new body and live another human life, in order to continue growing and making up for past wrongdoings. But even if you don't believe in reincarnation, we know there's a spiritual world. The soul can continue living, learning, and growing there, potentially. Or maybe something else happens, that nobody on Earth knows about or understands yet. After all, we "assume" today that our religion is 100% correct and knows 100% of the truth of reality. But that'd be foolish of us to assume that. Because people were equally certain in their beliefs about the ancient Egyptian, Greek, or Roman pantheon of deities. The idea of there only being "one, true God" is only a few thousand years old, but humans have had some form of religion or spiritual beliefs for tens of thousands of years, at least. Always believing/assuming that what they believed was 100% true and complete. Who's to say that 10,000 years from now, humans won't "know better" what God and souls and the afterlife are REALLY truly like, how it all really, actually works...? Maybe what we know and believe today is the "best" we possibly can, but inevitably is still limited and incomplete? People were once certain the Earth was flat and the sun revolved around us. All the spiritual and scientific authority figures at the time proclaimed it as absolute truth. Now scientists are saying we may actually live in a multi-verse -- and our universe is just one of an infinite number of universes that exist. If that's true, how does God, souls, and spirituality fit into all that? It's an exciting time to be alive. I wonder what things we assume and accept as truth today, we'll later learn tomorrow we were totally wrong about. Even major world power governments are starting to seriously investigate the possibility that we may be currently, actively being visited be intelligent extraterrestrial life right now. It was only a few decades ago people were mocked for seriously believing in that possibility. But anyway, that's a side thought. As for the question of justice, my final thought is this: is that something we actually even want? No, truly. Because think about. NONE OF US are perfect. EVERYONE has done something wrong, at some point, in their lives. All of us have hurt others, whether intentionally or unintentionally. Where should the line be drawn? How much or which evils are "okay" and which ones deserve eternal punishment? Do we really even want a God who will cut us off and punish us for eternity, just because we were human and inherently, by nature, weak, flawed, and limited? There's a classic philosophical argument about this. If a clock doesn't work, is it the clock's fault or the clock maker's fault? If you buy a new car and it won't run, is it the car's fault or the car manufacturer's fault? If we souls are created by God, and we're inherently flawed and prone to sin and error by our own nature, is it our fault or our creator's fault? How can any of us be judged for doing wrong, if we were created with the tendency to do wrong? Would we even want to be judged by someone who blames us for their design flaws? Humans want justice and fairness. And to have a safe, functioning, stable society, we do need that -- in the human, physical world. But from everything I personally seen and experienced, it isn't about judgment or justice from a spiritual perspective. It's about compassion, empathy, learning, growth, and healing. There's a saying in a book called "A Course in Miracles." It says that "everything we do is either an act of love or cry for help." It posits that when we do wrong and hurt others, it's only because we ourselves are lacking in love or support or knowing how to do any better. So from a higher spiritual perspective, it's not about punishing people who do wrong -- it's about helping and healing and loving them unconditionally, so they naturally stop wanting or needing to do wrong. Wrong is still wrong. Evil is still evil. But all have done something wrong, at some point in their lives. Some of us have done a LOT of wrong things... But for ALL of us, it's the same -- from God, we receive unconditional love, support, healing, and help... to help us learn right from wrong, to support us in our growth, to heal the wounds in us that made us do wrong in the first place, to help us discover that love really is what we want to receive and what we want to give. And because our souls are immortal, we all have as much time as it takes to learn and grow and discover that.

      Sincere question: do you believe God loves people differently based on how good they are or which religion they believe in, for example? It's fine if you believe that. But personally, the Creator I've come to know and believe in has infinite love for all of us. It truly is unconditional. Of course, God wants us to grow and become better, more loving, more kind and compassionate people... but no matter what always loves us just the same, all along the way. After all, we're all learning and growing. Nobody's perfect. But God just wants to Love us, completely, inside and out, throughout the entire journey. If you disagree, I respect that. No worries. Just sharing what I believe and understand personally.

    Hey David ! do what you want with this: Praying( i'm not saying to never pray ) most are taught to pray in desperate situations of fear or lack, as a result the energy sent is of despair/lack, a low vibration.

    1 JOHN 4:21: “If anyone says, “My love is fixed on God,” yet hates his brother, he is a liar. One who has no love for the brother he has seen cannot love the God he has not seen. The commandment we have from him is this: whoever loves God must also love his brother.” 1 JOHN 4:16: We have come to know and to believe in the love God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him. 1 JOHN 4:7-12: Beloved, let us love one another because love is of God; everyone who loves is begotten of God and has knowledge of God. The person without love has known nothing of God, for God is love. God’s love was revealed in our midst in this way: he sent his only Son to the world that we might have life through him. Love then, consists in this: not that we have loved God, but that he has loved us and has sent his Son as an offering for our sins. Beloved, if God has loved us so, we must have the same love for one another. No one has ever seen God. Yet if we love one another, God dwells in us, and his love is brought to perfection in us. 1 John 2:9-11: Anyone who claims to be in the light but hates a brother or sister is still in the darkness. Anyone who loves their brother and sister lives in the light, and there is nothing in them to make them stumble. But anyone who hates a brother or sister is in the darkness and walks around in the darkness. They do not know where they are going, because the darkness has blinded them.

    I think Judaism is the only religion that does not claim is the "only way" to salvation, in fact, the concepts of salvation, heaven, hell, and satan, do not even exist. In fact, in Judaism, if you are a good person you will be resurrected in the "world to come". Those who use hell as a weapon, are terrorists! Hello there. I'm glad you met some Mormon missionaries. This is an opportunity. I have a couple of thoughts that will help you. First, have you read the story of Jacob's Ladder in the Old Testament. A ladder is helpful to think about in approaching God. When you make good choices you go up the ladder. When you make bad choices you fall of the ladder or take a step down. Its all up to you. Some people will choose not to do the work to go up the ladder. Some will choose to go farther than others. The exciting thing about this and thinking about it this way in climbing the ladder to heaven is that its up to you. Its also helpful to think about this way in thinking like if you want to get closer to God you think more about using the spirit of God to help you feel the way to go and to help identify when you are on the right track or not. There would be a way to guide you to help you to know which way is up. And you can use that more than worry about other people arguing about not coloring outside the lines. Your spirit is a spirit from god. Therefore... it can feel when something is truth. When you pray with real intent, you will feel the answers come from God as you seek him with sincerity. Then you can follow the breadcrumbs. And at this point I'd try to think this way, and then figure out the gospel principles this way. As you feel the spirit of God you can connect which principles of the gospel feel right. And it will help you to connect the truth. I would focus on identifying the right principles first before you think about the bigger questions. Start on a buildable small level. Then sure you can ask about joining the church. The amazing part is... you can choose to go up the ladder. You can choose to have more light and truth and success, not limited to worldly success. People can't take that away from you. I like this part. In economics or jobs or things of the world, someone can take away my job at any time. I don't like this. But in the world, some people get the good job and some get crappy jobs. And they don't choose fairly who gets what. But in spiritual things its fair. You can choose to take steps up the ladder. Its all on you. And for this reason you do want to make changes in your life towards truth and light also. It is also true that unconditional love and feelings like love bring in the spirit of truth, spirit of the Savior's love, MORE and more easily to gain and recognize additional truth. I believe this will help you. Love and pure feelings & intent push out darkness. The story of Joseph Smith also represents the common man. The idea that anyone can reach out to God. This is partly why in Michaelangelo's painting God is reaching out and touching Adam's hand. Anyone can get answers to prayers. And that there's prophets today. ... Also missionaries are learning too.

      @Eric-ep9rd I agree. After extensive research into not only what religions teach and believe, but also their history, origins, and evolution over time, I too became convinced they're all just inventions made by humans, in an attempt to understand, interact with, and explain the spiritual side of reality that does exist. Often good and very well-meaning attempts. But inherently limited. If you're familiar with the metaphor, we're like multiple blind men all touching a different part of an elephant, each describing something seemingly completely different (the trunk, ears, body, legs, tail, etc), never realizing that no matter how "complete" and "accurate" we believe we are, we're still only seeing part of the picture.

    4 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world. 2 By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, 3 and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you heard was coming and now is in the world already. 4 Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. 5 They are from the world; therefore they speak from the world, and the world listens to them. 6 We are from God. Whoever knows God listens to us; whoever is not from God does not listen to us. By this we know the Spirit of truth and the spirit of error.

    You are on the perfect path. After extensive research I found that all religious scriptures of all major religions have at least one passage that reveals the kingdom of god is in the hearts' of the righteous. Hence the ultimate path is to follow your heart which means following the implanted word that is commonly referred to as intuition and conscience. Without hearing the inner word and also doing as you are guided your religion is worthless. To become more able to receive inner guidance, become a Nazarene which is a Vegan. Coptic Christians and Seventh Day Adventists are two forms of Christianity that have held closely to the original teachings of Christ. Watch the new Documentary Christspiricy to discover what has been hidden by most organized religions.

      There's a quote by Dr. Wayne Dyer that I love. "If prayer is us talking to God, intuition is God talking back to us." For me, heart guidance and intuition guidance are closely related. (The only difference is, intuition sometimes "knows" things supernaturally, that the heart can't/doesn't know yet. Otherwise, everything else is the same in my experience.) Our own conscience knows right from wrong, good from bad. We don't "need" an organized religious institution to teach us that. Maybe just remind us. ;) And help support us in tuning in, listening, and trusting that inner voice.

      @@lovelightdavid Having written two books on intuition, conscience and the divine (god) consciousness that resides in the heart, what I've found is that the infallible voice comes from the heart. On the other hand Gut Intuition is fallible. Here are some notable quotes supporting the heart as the source of genius: The most celebrated architect of the twentieth century, Frank Lloyd Wright (1867-1959), stated: “The heart is the chief feature of a functioning mind.” Albert Einstein expressed his reverence for heart intuition: “The state of mind which enables a man to do work of this kind [theoretical physics], is akin to that of the religious worshipper or the lover; the daily effort comes from no deliberate intention or program, but straight from the heart.” In my books I reference scientific studies that identified the source of the infallible voice is the heart. Going further I agree with the theory that consciousness is primary, it's the foundation of reality. Pure consciousness is god and there's no escaping the omnipresence of the One because that is all that there is. Max Planck was a proponent for consciousness creating matter. With a Nobel Prize for discovering energy quanta, he became the distinguished father of quantum theory. In 1931, The Observer, a famous British weekly, reported Planck’s viewpoint: "I regard consciousness as fundamental. I regard matter as derivative from consciousness. We cannot get behind consciousness. Everything that we talk about, everything that we regard as existing, postulates consciousness." Later in his 1944 speech “The Nature of Matter,” Planck further explained how consciousness is present throughout everything: "There is no matter as such. All matter originates and exists only by virtue of a force which brings the particle of an atom to vibration and holds this most minute solar system of the atom together. We must assume behind this force the existence of a conscious and intelligent mind. This mind is the matrix of all matter." Despite the omnipresence of consciousness, the One has distributed consciousness in a variety of forms and packets to form two grand illusions heaven (the astral spirit realm) and earth (the physical realm) as well as all of the characters, and things that appear in those realms. Together, all of this provides a grand mystery that we little humans will never fully comprehend. Luckily all we need to do is open and follow our hearts. I have a video on my channel that explains how to open one's heart. My books are free to download from my website.

      I have to agree with you. The latest cutting-edge scientific research has scientists saying that consciousness is actually the foundation of the universe -- and things like time, space, matter, and energy are emergent properties of that consciousness. I tend to call that super consciousness "God". :) Because they seem to have the same properties -- intelligent, omnipresent, creator of reality, etc. I didn't realize scientists have been suggesting this idea since the early 1900s. Thanks for sharing that! I also love how you distinguished between "gut intuition" and "heart intuition". One is physical, what the brain's own memories and the body's own unconscious perceptions quickly assess and determine about a given person, place, or thing -- the other, in my opinion, is spiritually-based. Heart intuition somehow "knows" things we can't possibly know otherwise. Heart intuition seems to transcend what the brain knows or body can perceive.

      @@lovelightdavid God is an appropriate word to identify the One Who is All. However, since a lot of people link that word to a guy sitting on a throne in the clouds, it can be misleading. On the other hand, the properties ascribed to God include, omnipresent which means that God is present everywhere at the same time, omnipotent which means God has ultimate power and influence, omniscient which means that God knows everything that is known. Once the primacy of consciousness is understood, it's clear that God must be that all pervasive consciousness and not a old guy sitting on a throne in the clouds. With a One Who is All view of God, lots of things fall into place. However, when it comes to the bible, a close analysis reveals that the Lord Yahweh is a deity who is not the One Who is All, but a powerful wrathful spirit who has an important but diabolical role to play in the True God's plan. Certainly Yahweh is part of the One, but those who claim he is the creator are mistaken. Therefore, following our inner connection to the True God is the only way to avoid being lured onto a divisive life path. I may be over zealous about that, but the numerous miracles that have filled my life give me many reasons to believe I'm on a pious path. I don't claim to be perfect, far from it, I often make mistakes, but my inner guidance always comes to my rescue. Moreover, when I tune in and follow closely, the results are astonishing. My free to download books discuss this in detail with tools and techniques.

    From birth I was a part of many mostly mainstream big religions growing up as a Foster Child being in God's hands, and without bias. I would read the Bible for myself, and then see what these religions would tell me were God's Doctrines and practices. However, I noticed when reading the Bible, and having these many different perspectives, it became easy for me to see that all these religions were NOT actually practicing what the Word said. They either didn't believe certain things, or they outright created new doctrines which the Bible didn't teach, or you would only get such a view by cherry picking and ignoring scripture. I then came upon the The Church of Jesus Christ, aka the Mormons. *It was the ONLY religion that actually fit what the Bible in Full said.* Not only that, but it's practices, how it did things actually helped create and train "Saints", for them ALL, not just "elites" like a Priest, or Preacher etc. like was common with other religions. To me that's exactly what a "True" religion would do. Also, one thing that attracted me is they behaved "normal".... that Godliness was simply part of their natural being. They didn't act "cultish" with rambling words to try and prove they were Godly, such as Jesus Jesus Jesus, etc. They were "normal".... but yet also a peculiar people whom most tried to actually live their faith, being part of the world but not of it. I even became anti-mormon and anti-religion for a couple of years in my late teens and early 20's, though while I didn't believe most anti-mormon claims against the Church, because I studied it and their claims, I did in my modern sensibility's came to not understand what I call my "big 3", and that was Plural Marriage, the Priesthood ban, and Women and the Priesthood. However, fortunately when I was humble enough to learn again, I restudied everything, quickly eliminated any other religion as even possibly being true, so I was back to the LDS Church. So, I studied anti-mormonism and compared it with LDS scholarship, and I quickly again verified even more that anti-mormonism did nothing but lie, just like Leftists lie about the Right and Issues, the "god" they serve was clearly no different in that belief system and behaviors against other believers. I then focused on my big three issues, learned much more about them and came to understand that I simply did not have all the information to properly judge those issues. Then one day, it was like new brain cells were created, and God revealed the Church WAS literally True.... While before I had a more practical and scientific belief, with the spirit mingled in, I now had a SURE Testimony of this reality. Some 30 years later, it only keeps being proved more true. It is the ONLY "True and Living Gospel of Jesus Christ" on the earth. LDS follow Christ's words in Mark 9, Luke 9 etc. when it comes to other believers "not with us." So we accept all as brothers in Christ. Unfortunately, anti-mormons disobey Christ's Words in those verses, and he states very harsh words for those who don't follow him in his words in those verses. But, they are just another example of how other Christians don't actually follow the Bible as they believe. Nevertheless, while many won't accept us, unwilling to call us "Christian", we will accept them in good Faith.

      Sincerely, I'm glad you found a good spiritual home. I'm not sure if you watched my whole video or not. I'm not anti-Mormon at all. Some of my friends are Mormon. And most Mormons I've met have been genuinely kind, loving people. But I also find equally kind, loving, generous people in ALL religions -- and even those who aren't religious at all. I think it's who we are and how we live that matters most -- not which organization we officially belong to or not. That's the message of this video. Love is what's real. Love is what's true. Love is what matters. :) The God I know isn't going to condemn someone to eternal punishment, just because they weren't baptized in the "right" building by the "right" people within their lifetime. Personally, I believe God looks at each of our hearts individually. We might disagree on this, and that's okay if we do. I'm just sharing from my own personal experiences and beliefs. :) If I'm reading and understanding your comment correctly, it seems you yourself are a kind, loving, compassionate, caring person. You're someone who wants to grow closer to God and become a better person over time. You're even willing to learn, explore, contemplate, and consider alternative points of view too, which I think is amazing and awesome! Most people refuse to do that. So you're doing amazing. Keep being kind and loving to all. Thanks for your thoughtful comment and sharing your personal story. Genuinely, I appreciate it!

    Islam is the true religion-have you explored it? From what I understand, you identify as spiritual but not religious and are not part of any organized faith. The question is, why? What led you to move away from the religions you’ve explored? Write down the reasons or questions that caused you to reject them, and then study Islam with an open mind. I am confident that Islam can address 80% or more of those concerns. Its teachings provide clear answers to life’s big questions about purpose, morality, and the nature of God. Why not give it a chance?

      @@cerebralgeneratedimagery5785while Mormons believe in a false prophet whose claims are not recognized by either ISLAM or CHRISTIANITY, Islam is entirely different. Islam acknowledges all the prophets, including Jesus, Moses, and Abraham, as genuine messengers of God. hey man, I love your energy! I''d whished more people had a gentle and loving spirit like yours"! this brings me the thing I would like to say: not everyone is like this. there are selfish and evil people in this world. I would say the true religion is the one that can change an evil and selfish person into a loving person. I have never witnessed any religion do that, only Jesus Christ does that. if a religion teaches love, that is great. can it change someone''s nature though? complete change, not just some tweaking. I used to be a wicked and vile person, now I am known for my love for people. God has an identity and he chose to come in the form of Jesus christ, and in heaven he still welcomes us in the form of jesus christ, since he wants to identify with us and us to identify with him.

      @MarcioW Well said. I think religion can give some people hope, healing, and support in their journey toward being more loving, kinder, better people. In my journey, I've met really genuinely kind and loving people from all spiritual and religious backgrounds. Even secular, non-religous, atheistic backgrounds. So I'm inclined to agree with you that "no religion" completely transforms someone. The soul has to be willing and seeking it. And in my experience, God (and through the more accessible/relatable form of Jesus) will use whatever's available in our lives to help us grow and become better, more loving people... once that soul desires healing and growth. For some people, they may find the guidance and support they need in a religion. But not necessarily. And it's certainly not required. Just an option, a vehicle, God can and sometimes does use. That's what I think, anyway. Thanks for your kind comment! It's great to meet you!

    Hi David ! Do what you want with this info, i aint selling or forcing anyone, In all respect i don't say this with hate, i don't judge either, you do you, i'm myself agnostic, not religious but i know there are higher powers at play. I like to say the infinite one or intelligence beyond intelligence, a supra infinite consciousness. I was raised in catechism, but being gay, i could never relate to any religion. I personnaly never liked organized religion, the idea of ingesting one's flesh and blood even metaphorically always felt like satanic blood rituals. Also Exodus the second chapter of the Bible depicts so much sacrifice blood rituals it felt wrong to me. Also most religious prayers are often taught and done in a desperate state, so the low vibration is actually sending the opposite of what people want. For any muslim, i always tell them to read about Aisha and Muhammad (his third wife) in the two most used books: hadith al bukhari or hadith muslim, a controversy as she was 9 years old when he consumed the marriage. You may check on youtube, type in Shawna L Francis. She is channeling Melchizedek who was connected to John, the guy who wrote passages of the Bible. via Melchizedek she says reading out loud the Book of revelation from the Bible(old & new testament) is a code to activate light workers and also that it relates events from our modern times. The amount of videos she posted is olympian, i don't think you can make this up. YES !! LOVE LOVE LOVE <3<3<3
