That's a great and very genuine question. Thanks for asking! Honestly, technically it's "possible" for our brains to generate these feelings. Like, maybe it's just a placebo effect type thing, for example. But God is real. And you're real. God wants to connect with and love you. And you want to connect with and love God. Both you and God are real. Both of you desire to connect with each other and experience love. That's what makes it real. God has told me many, many, MANY times -- He loves *everybody*, unconditionally. God genuinely desires to connect with and build a relationship with anybody who wants that too. So if in your heart you desire to connect with God and feel God's love -- that's good enough! That's all you need! God's real. And the love (or peace or joy or whatever else you might feel) is real too.
