Thinkware F70 Pro Dash Cam - Toyota 4Runner Hardwire Mirror Tap - Install & Review
My old dash cam was acting up and it was time for a new one. I decided on the F70 Pro from Thinkware. It's a 1080p dash cam with a small cylindrical form factor and clean design.
I hardwired this into my 2018 Toyota 4Runner. Instead of using a fuse tap into the fuse box, I used a mirror tap harness. Since the Thinkware F70 Pro requires 12V power, I didn't need the step down originally attached to the harness. After quickly making a custom harness with the adapter that came with the F70 Pro and the 7-Pin mirror tap harness, the install was easy and is 100% reversible in case I want to take it all off!
The F70 Pro looks clean hidden behind the 4Runner's rear view mirror and can't be seen from the driver's seat. While the Thinkware iOS app takes a bit of time to connect to the camera, it does its job. It records high quality footage as well. You can check out the F70 Pro and Thinkware's wide range of dash cams below!

Fast & DIY-Friendly - Innova 6100P OBD2 Scanner - 2018 Toyota 4Runner Test & Review
มุมมอง 3523 หลายเดือนก่อน
This Innova 6100P might look dated, but it has all the features you can expect to find in a basic OBDII scanner, plus a few more. I like this scanner since it's simple without any frills - once you connect it to your OBD2 port, you'll be able to read codes in seconds! Clearing check engine lights was easy, and this also offers datastream capability. Although it is not packed with features and d...

The P8 was already great, but the P9 adds an updated Android OS, larger 9" QLED screen, faster Wireless Carplay, and an HDMI input. Just like the P8, you can seamlessly integrate wireless Apple Carplay to any ve...

Every mechanic around my area wanted anywhere from $700-1000 for my moms Honda CR-V I went to my local Autozone and got all the parts for a full brake job pads and rotors for the front and rear for $340 and it took me about 3 hours because I was taking my time and because some of the caliper bolts were extremely stubborn otherwise it’s an easy job mechanics are extremely immoral people they can get the exact same parts I got for even less due to their shop discount and make a ridiculous nearly $1000 profit off of you absolutely disgusting.

What sockets do you guys use? Just finished doing the rear brake and rotors on my Mitsubishi outlander sport and the brake line was in the way of a bolt. Idk if my sockets are thick or too long. Ended up using a 14mm wrench..

“RockAuto: All the parts you’ll ever need!” And I believe it. Most of my parts for my 02 Saturn comes from that website! Foglight assemblies, electrical connections, brake kits and calipers, suspension and soon to be alternator! So far, the parts are holding up the test of time and driving.

Don't ever put on your automotive lugs with an impact. My milwaukee torques to 340 on setting 1. Youre just stretching your studs. (Lots of videos showing how much torque they can apply or you can test yourself with a torque wrench)

You're an idjit for this video as a diy. Spraying the surface area of a completed brake job with brake cleaner will destroy the pads. Not all rotor require cleaning out of box. Some contain specific coating for smooth transition of new pads. you have to know the difference 🤢🤢🤢🤮

I would not use break cleaner on the rotor while it's on its axle. If there's any rubber around that area, the break cleaner will eat it up, possibly ruining rubber break lines...

You didn't need to spray brake cleaner on the rotors, those are coated rotors. The coating is supposed to minimize noise and make the wear between pads and rotor more even.

You should also use a brake pad to push the piston in. It applies force more evenly across the surface and decreases the risk of a cracked piston.
