Thinkware F70 Pro Dash Cam - Toyota 4Runner Hardwire Mirror Tap - Install & Review
My old dash cam was acting up and it was time for a new one. I decided on the F70 Pro from Thinkware. It's a 1080p dash cam with a small cylindrical form factor and clean design.
I hardwired this into my 2018 Toyota 4Runner. Instead of using a fuse tap into the fuse box, I used a mirror tap harness. Since the Thinkware F70 Pro requires 12V power, I didn't need the step down originally attached to the harness. After quickly making a custom harness with the adapter that came with the F70 Pro and the 7-Pin mirror tap harness, the install was easy and is 100% reversible in case I want to take it all off!
The F70 Pro looks clean hidden behind the 4Runner's rear view mirror and can't be seen from the driver's seat. While the Thinkware iOS app takes a bit of time to connect to the camera, it does its job. It records high quality footage as well. You can check out the F70 Pro and Thinkware's wide range of dash cams below!

Fast & DIY-Friendly - Innova 6100P OBD2 Scanner - 2018 Toyota 4Runner Test & Review
มุมมอง 9499 หลายเดือนก่อน
This Innova 6100P might look dated, but it has all the features you can expect to find in a basic OBDII scanner, plus a few more. I like this scanner since it's simple without any frills - once you connect it to your OBD2 port, you'll be able to read codes in seconds! Clearing check engine lights was easy, and this also offers datastream capability. Although it is not packed with features and d...

Just like the P8, you can seamlessly integrate wireless Apple Carplay to any ve...

Yes $100 in parts and I would do the same instead of paying over 500 dollars for a pair of brakes, but then again I have bought hundreds of dollars in tools, the Daytona jack is like 200, impact, wrenches , grease, cleaning tools, brush, brake clean, sockets, jack stands, torque wrench, mallet, hammer, brake caliper tool, torx bits if the rotor has those annoying screw, and if you live in the rust belt a torch, WD-40, impact sockets not chrome ones, im no mechanic but almost every car is similar yet very different from old Toyota RAV4 to difficult newer ford fusions which you have to enter brake service mode or else you can damage the caliper.

And the job took what like 1 hour with 4 tools probably and they acted like you need to pull the engine out and crack it open. I’m never taking my car in again. I’ve just been acquiring tools everytime a job needs to be done I now own those tools should I have to work that job again or help someone else.

good vid. just remember those cheap, less than a hundred dollar rotors and pads are cheap because the rotors are made from recycled shopping carts and coat hangers! they are cheap for a reason! invest in quality parts. You ARE saving money on labor.

I’m not the guy to criticize but who is the white guy in the background and you’re Asian this vehicle looks like an American vehicle. I usually see Asians driving some type of Asian vehicle. Mainly Honda looks to me like you’re a mobile mechanic and your white clientele is racist, he didn’t think an Asian boy could work on his American car 🤷🏾‍♂️🤷🏾😂😂🤣 and he looks like he’s Indian or Jewish or some shit an actual white white guy but good job bro my best friend Kirby was a Japanese Asian kid and we built a Toyota supra when I was 17 and we 2jz swapped it we took apart three cars to make that one car Toyota Celica, BMW, 325 and a Lexus SC 300🤷🏾‍♂️🤷🏾🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 and that’s when I learn Asians don’t throw away shit the other two cars they gave me $800 just for the shell 800 a piece so you know I had to buy a $1200 turbo kit🤣😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣 I was in love with Kirby’s sister at the time the plan was to build the car for her to go to college with but after we were done he was so attached to the car. He gave me 5000 for my half, and he was my best friend I was like man get out my face with this punk ass car.😂😂😂😂🤣🤣😂😂😂🤣 and I was pissed because we were supposed to sell that damn thing for 40 grand and then build a Nissan GTR motherfucker but I started buying cars at 10 I owned several cars I dreamed about owning even if it wasn’t the top-of-the-line engine package, and to help my best friend‘s first car, be a souped up Toyota supra I liked it that concept I remember he sold me a super Famechon and had to buy it back. He gave me some money and a super Nintendo that played Famechon games. At the time I was like what the fuck is this?😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂

Just did this on Sunday for my wife and gave myself a concussion doing it😅. Wrench slipped on one of the caliper bracket bolts and the wrench came flying back and smacked me straight in the dome. Que the big blood drops and a mechanic wipe straight to the forehead. Overall was cheaper than taking her in to do both rear and front brakes at home. Total cost about $550. (Opted to save money on the brake job by not going to the hospital)
