The problem with the CW shows - is that one they had no real writers, and no direction. Just a bunch of women trying to stir up drama the main character has to get into a love triangle with someone. And it became super annoying fast. For some dumb fucking reason - Mark Guggenheim who was in charge of Arrow loved Felicity, and shoved that character down our throats. She was fine at first, but as a love interest, she became such an unlikeable character fast. And they didn't know WHEN to quit. And it just alienated a lot of the fanbase. Its also unfortunate that the guy who played Roy Harper was going through some sort of mental issues at the time, and so couldn't use him, and had to pivot to his sister. I agree that the League of Shadows and Rhas, should have been his Thanos. Too big of a character to waste. And your correct, that one season I believe it was 3 that was terrible, should have been about Merlyn trying to corrupt his sister. They were exploring that idea, and where did it go? Once again, they introduce ideas, and they go nowhere. The Arrow family became way too bloated, and again shouldn't have. Keep things concise, its not hard. The Flash- when the first season came out, I was blown away by its potential. I was hyped. The Reverse Flash reveal everyone was just going nuts. Then the season finale happened and that is when you started seeing cracks in the foundation. I agree this show was flawed from the start. One- they should have made Daniel Panabaker - Iris west, not Caitlyn Snow. Would have made WAY more sense, as they have better chemistry. Instead we got Barry simping and opining to be with what is essentially his step-sister. Which creeped everyone out. It never made sense. I'm with you in Season 2, because I felt like Zoom was like next level compared to the Flash. He was God tier level badass. And Barry was Mid tier. He sounded and acted like a total crazy psycho, and when it was revealed who he really was, it was just like....(really? THAT guy???) You just couldn't buy it. Making Jor West the villain would have been better than this guy. Again, the writers got too cute, and try throwing spaghetti at the wall to see what sticks. I don't know if its to keep from being spoiled on the internet, which i know has got to be a challenge, but you can't just change a characters motivations like they do. I only watched half of season 3 and wasn't surprised that Barry was ultimately going against Barry. the next season introduced Nora Allen- which the only good thing I can say about her is that she gets naked in other acting roles. So after knowing this, and can't believe the CW wouldn't know her resume, just blows my mind that the squeaky clean network would have gone with her. Its hard for me to try and watch her be a serious actress when you have seen her flash her bewbs in a movie. So that is when I stopped caring about the Flash, because in my opinion the show was already gone full Re**** as they say in Tropic Thunder. But I do credit the CW for creating something unique for its time, that for some reason the movies could not do. And that is saying something, because I thought Arrow season 2 was the BEST. Hands down, the guy who played Slade owned it. Legends of tomorrow had the potential to be a good show, until once again, they decided to wreak the premise of the show mid-way into the first season. And it just went off the rails from there.

I loved arrow and arroverse however the replacement of the singular competent hero to needing a team is a traditional communistic play. Seriously the soviets in the Cold War tried tv shows where the “hero” would succeed when they return to the team and fail if they leave the team…..the writing never worked.. Although an ensemble case makes it easier to be a lazy writer and get multiple seasons the move was a political one make no mistake and…I do think the show was stronger when their hero’s both worked well as a team and alone. I feel it ended more on that note noticing their ratings dropped season 4 when they maximized “the team”. I miss the days where quantum leap or mcguyver single hero shows existed. Also Season five was supposed to be Oliver’s best friend, who died season one, however he was working on a new show and had to be recasted.

After the ending song on the last episode you can see Guts in the near future getting ready to fight basically. I think maybe you saw the ending song and thought that was it. but yes the 1997 anime ended with on a cliffhanger , as to entice people to read the manga.

But allll of the mistakes made in the series all throughout every single season pretty much almost ruins it. Like season 1 and season 2 is all I would rewatch if I were to do so, but only with my brain shut off tho so that I don’t have to get angry when flash just stands there, or when they just throw out random villains that don’t tie into anything with the actual story

I agree with you on Burn Notice. However, I wouldn't judge James Bond SOLELY on the Daniel Craig version. You need to watch all of the movies that have been made over the last 60 years or so. Yes, you will probably find some of them cheesy and they won't change your opinion too much but it will give you an idea on how the character has changed over the years and not for the better. You're right that, strictly speaking, he's not really a spy. He doesn't do much to blend in as spies need to do. However, it doesn't take away from how fun the character can be to watch. You just can't take him too seriously.
