I like your video and welder, i just bought a used one yesterday for 40.00 and it works but i need to clean it up its been setting in the floor of a shop for quite a few years, have you had to order new tips for yours yet ? Thanks for the video.
I have not. Ask the boys at the store first, but probably just have to Google them and get em from the jungle store
What is the bolt size on these ? Do you happen to have a part #
I don't remember on both accounts. Pretty sure they came thru Rock Auto.
Excellent explanation bro. It has really helped me a lot in my future project. I am thinking of reviewing a dune buggy from an S10 pick up truck.
My pleasure
What is this painted resin?? I’m using kitty hair and a paste, it’s such a mess and I’m so worried because some of it did not stick. This looks so much easier. Doing my rocker panels.
Just plain old cheap fiberglass resin.
Why didn’t they recommend that at the auto parts store? What are you putting over it?@@thefixerofbrokenstuff
It got filled with cat hair bondo, then regular bondo, then spot putty, then primed and painted. With generous sanding and cleaning between steps. As far as anyone recommending any certain technique ...... well opinions are like feet. Everyone has a couple and they usually stink.
I’m going to do the other side of the rocker panels with your method. It’s basically under my van and you can’t really see it, it doesn’t have to be pretty just needs to stick, Thank you.@@thefixerofbrokenstuff
Cool
DID NOT know that about LOCTITE! Wowwww! LOVED the lil' quips like 'snocket' and 'po-lish' - lol. My Dad used to say stuff like that when I was a kid when we'd hang out in the garage. Sure miss that old fart...GREAT VIDEO!
Thanks.
Good way to offset gravity
Thanks
Thanks
Where did you get the shoulder bolts?
The feed store.
Nice job, I understand it a little bit more, the hardest part is finding the factory specs, lot of experimenting online. Thank you
It's all in the factory service manual. You can buy a digital copy online for less than a hundred bucks.
Any tips for doing big areas vertically? Tons of small pieces?
Use a big piece of tin foil and plastic. Lay it out on some plywood.
Dayton TN, by way of Denver CO
Thanks
Did you use silicone rtv on the inside of the balancer?
Something like that
I did the screw trick on a cam seal one time to remove it. I didnt realize i hit the cam slightly with the screw. Got it all back together and was driving down the roaf and lost almost all my oil when the knick in the camshaft tore up the new seal.
Sounds like a good time was had by all.
Good clean wholesome fun. It’ll never catch on. Wink wink I’m pleased to see you are alive and well
Thanks. Sorry the channel has been slow.
Thanks great idea using rotary tool much better control than a big angle grinder which I see being used in other videos
No problem

Great setup. I feel better about my plans. I'm glad it works well for you. I'll be doing something similar. Wish I had thought of the conduit and chickenwire panels before I went and bought a pipe framework structure. Meh, next time. Chickenwire isn't as cheap as it used to be, but still cheaper than some things. 18 inches of well-composted soil is amazing. Makes for a great garden.
I ran up on a great bargain at the feed store. I was stumbling around the wire yard and seen 2 huge rolls of 48" wire that had been in the yard for so long the cellophane and tags had rotted off. They practically gave them to me, and I've barely put a dent in the first roll.
Saw this on my yt page, came to look, liked and got connected. Hope to see you at my place soon. Love your chickens, I have some too as well as cats and dogs, all rescued and a am gardening but still a novice and have lots to learn☺
At your place?
lots of good information, thanks.
My pleasure.

Ok.
Wow, your hens have an envious space to live in. Excellent work. Us, we the people, here in the UK, are all cooped up like sardines. Cheers Tony
Sad to hear that.
Thanks for the new job to fix on my brother’s blazer. I’m in Ronan, Montana.👍
My pleasure
Red neck to the core!!!
Did an under application in a repair on my old voyager. (lots of contour) and ran into the mess of doing it with dab method. Lesson learned. Repairing holes in my 96 chevy 1500 using foam to fill large gaps. Would like to have observed the removal of the foil, but this loos like a more efficient less messy approach. You show the area that had rusted out but didn't mention if it was repaired prior to this step. did you put the fiberglass over primer? If so will there be a future fail due to adhesion issues. The vynal over the foil is an Oh Dah moment for me. LOL! Appreciate this even thouh these tend to get limited views. Thanks.
If I used anything, it was ospho. Can't really remember
Did you do a video of replacing the condenser?
No. But not too bad if you pull the inner and outer fender.
Hazard, KY here
Thanks
If you made that tool to sell I’d be buying one NOW
I wish I had the insurance to manufacture tools.
Does grill come off before the bumper?
Pretty sure it does. It's been a while.
I assume there's no video of taking it apart? Final removal of evaporator box looks easy with everything that you removed. Question I have is taking all the stuff off actually easier than the struggle people had by leaving fender and hood on
It's worth it to me, that's all I know.
best I have ever seen. Why don't you start a rent to use through the mail and use a deposit to make sure it is returned. I will be the first customer to rent, as I need it real bad.
Pretty funny
Canada
Thanks
You dont have to heat it ?
Nope. Won't do no good if you do. May even take the temper out of the sleeve.
They make a bushing kit cheap
Bushings don't last when the hole is egged out, and the cheap kits don't last even if the holes are good.
At least 2 videos got those bolts out with fender on
Ok
How is this done when it's a bolt? I'm guessing that the hole in the washer is made to just fit over the steel stock before the threads are cut?
I think the threads are rolled, not cut.
@@thefixerofbrokenstuff Oh, I'm making a bolt from scratch, only have a die to cut the thread, hoping that' would do it,....wish me luck, will report back here.
MAGA and thanks for the video
You bet
wouldn't it have been easier to torque the flywheel bolts with the engine in the vehicle?
Maybe, maybe not. I remove and installed the engine and trans ad an assembly, so there you have it.
I needed to take mine out to install headers 350 swap s10 really helpful video thank you
Glad it helped
Hi! I don't know much about this, and you're probably fine as is, but occasionally posting abandoned sites can lead to vandalism. Still, it's a very beautiful building
They would be given a lead salad for trespassing
Thanks, I'm looking to do the right front brake line (having done all the rear ones) and there's so much "anti-corrosion compound" (oil cooler line) that with the front clip all still on, I can't actually see it it. Now I can get a rough measurement. These units were definitely designed to be worked on with the body removed.
Look thru the s10 Playlist. There's a vid where I show all the lines.
Well. I guess this is that vid.
@@thefixerofbrokenstuff >> I guess this is that vid.<< Yeah, that's why I was thanking you.
Excellent video
Thanks
Thanks for teaching the youth something useful. My family was a bunch of rich cry babies that didnt show me anything worth a fuck. I hope this young man has every opportunity to make a diference in this world. Good job grandpa or dad. Or uncle. Whatever you are.
Thanks
