Hello Elijah. I just watched your fabulous video. You’re a little engine runs great, you are quite the engineer. I want you and your dad to know that I cried through most of the video - it was so precious. And daddy, you are one in 1 million. Thank you so much for the hand written letter, I will be sending one to you soon as well. You are an amazing boy and your dad is an amazing man. I subscribed.
Mr. Pete sent me over to watch this video. This video and your letter is price less because it made a friend of mine (Mr. Pete) so happy. Teachers have an amazing influence on their students and as you have proven not every teacher and student are in a classroom together. Mr. Pete reached out over the internet to you and touched you as only a teacher can. His video turned into inspiration for you and your Dad. That is a valuable lesson. Throughout life there are so many opportunities to learn from others and I am so pleased to have seen this connection made. Great work on the engine and so happy to see a father and son working together.
I watched this after watching one of Mr. Pete’s videos where he mentioned your letter and build. Very cool to see a young man such as this take an interest in the mechanical arts that are so often ignored by people these days. I wish you both the best and hope to see more videos of another build in the future. Respect for both of you. Bill
Great project Elijah. I built my machine shop so I can make parts that I need. I want to learn new skills even though I am already an old man. I find special pleasure when I get to do joint projects with boys that want to complete their own projects and we get to work together in my shop. 15 boys joined me this summer and each of them machined their own wood workers vise. My youngest students were 6 years old. They needed more help than the older boys did. I have never tried to build any engine. You are already ahead of me on building engines. I like to repair, rebuild and modify machinery. I like to make fine wood furniture. I like to build and fabricate things. I bet that you and I could have fun together if we lived nearby.
Hello. Thank you for sharing this video. Warms the heart to see young men being built. Mr Pete is proud of you both and your video has brought him joy. Not many people can say that they have given back to Mr. Pete other than a thumbs up. Kudos.
Hello from the U.k, Elijah...I was sent to this channel by Tubal Cain and I truly loved your video. You have a keen interest and aptitude for this hobby, and you're so lucky to have the kind of dad that you have. Looking forward to see more videos like this.....Thanks to both of you for making my day.......Dave
Hi Elijah, I watched Mr. Pete's video talking about you and your dad making this engine. It is quite an accomplishment. This how I learned, being beside my dad working on our cars over the years. I became a mechanic and taught my son all I could. He is a Machinist now. And I am retired. So cherish these times as they go by so fast.
Thanks for teaching the youth something useful. My family was a bunch of rich cry babies that didnt show me anything worth a fuck. I hope this young man has every opportunity to make a diference in this world. Good job grandpa or dad. Or uncle. Whatever you are.
Mr. Pete put me onto you video. Good Job. I only hope that as you move through your life you have teachers like Mr. Pete. And Dad you are doing a great job teaching without overwhelming him.
Some great teamwork there lads - result was great! Loved the organisation and having a ?towel? on the bench to stop parts running away and you can focus the job on hand.
Great watching you assemble the wobbler engine. You can manipulate that screwdriver well. It runs really nice. Hope Santa brings you lots of presents. Merry Christmas to you all....Tony
