Armscor makes 38 super ammo but it’s not labeled with the + p on it don’t really recommend ther ammo but it seems to work great in ther rock island pistols 😂
For @bout 2000$ you can get a FAIR 16 side by side shotgun. I got one about 4 yrs. Ago. Great shooting gun. I didn’t pay as much for my gun. Still a good Italian made gun for the price. Ears
Makes one wonder generally how much more velocity you get with this 4.x" barrel over the snubby LCR 1.87. Coupled with good ammo (maybe punch, interceptor) it might serve as legit self defense backup.
@@gacplinking22 I can’t really access it, it’s in the recesses where the barrel locks on the receiver. CZ currently has the gun, they offered a replacement or refund. I’m trying to figure out if it’s a common issue on these. My specific shotgun had raw metal in that area so I am assuming that’s why it rusted so bad and fast. I’m wondering if it was a mistake and others have a surface finish on them. Thanks I wish o could send pictures, I have pics that show it really well.

Cool rifle brother, I use a centerfire scope on mine also. I haven't had any parallax issues. Try Aguila Super Extra 40 grain. I'm getting tight groups with it. The blue and yellow box with the black lead round nose bullets.
Thank you, she's a beauty. I don't know why CZ decided to not put ejectors. On the other hand since I reload 16 gauge it's a great thing for me because I can put the spent hulls in my pocket instead of picking them up off the ground.
It’s a field gun. Most people pick their shells up while hunting. Having extractors the pop out a little then you take them out put them in your pocket. With ejectors you would have to go find them or take them out as you would a gun with extractors.

Can you use a speed loader with these grips?

Have the same one only in a 12 and 20 gauge

I’d blame it on the ammo I hate Winchester 22 ammo.
I agree winchester 22 ammo is not the best.
Do you have a holster recommendation for this?
@@timmanwell2538 I don't, sorry. It's just a plinking revolver.
food for thought nc ordnance fake ivory grips with a hand of cards on one side and pair of dice on the other put on my 1903
What brand are the grips?
I don't remember, ordered from ebay.
Should be able to find a better price than that for a Sharptail. I've seen em priced around $900 ish at Academy Sports & such.
Just inherited my grandfathers 67a today. The gun was bought new by his father in 1962. I think they only shot it a couple times
Very cool. Enjoy it, fun to plink with.
Fun stuff! What scope is that?
@@Tex_I_Can it's a fun plinker. I don't know what kind of scope it is. All it says "long range 3.5-10x40mm" I wish I can find more info on it.
@@gacplinking22 No worries. I'm just generally interested. Take care!
The hay bale stops the bullets?
It will stop up to standard velocity.
awesome little plinker!

Nice shooting! Minute of squirrel all day long. I'm glad you were able to find some shade. It's looking a little hot and dry out there.
Thank you! It's a squirrel getter for sure. My truck provided good shade, it was about 100 degrees that day.

Sweet little rifle. I've never seen a 3.5X10 power scope before and I don't believe I've seen a 40MM scope with a sun shade
Thank you. I can't find any info on the scope, it has no branding or markings. I would like to one more like it.
That is pretty slick you have some nostalgic tools 🔫
Thank you 👍
I thought you gave up on TH-cam
I'm still here, youtube can't get rid of me that easy lol

why does CZ not list the 16 gauge as an option?

How much do these go for nowadays? Are they available with blued finish?
Not sure on both question, but it's a great plinker.

Can you put any optic on these pathfinders?
Not that I know of.

Back up gun maybe. In my humble opinion 22 is more for fun range time, especially with the family.
Nice gun. Nice shootin’ 😊.
Thank you 👍
Any problems with rust between the barrels on the underside? I have one that rusted badly between the barrel rib.
No rust at all. Some wd40 and copper wool might fix that rust.

So it's just a change in mag and barrel?
Yes. Just make sure you get the correct barrel, ramped or non-ramped.

People say the spring in the mag is pretty tight and makes hard to load. What is your experience?
It is, but nothing that can't be fixed. I loaded the mag tube and left it loaded for about 2 months. It worked out good for me.
I've read Rossi uses the same spring in the 20" gun and possibly the 24" gun, making it a little stiff in the 16" gun.
