Makes one wonder generally how much more velocity you get with this 4.x" barrel over the snubby LCR 1.87. Coupled with good ammo (maybe punch, interceptor) it might serve as legit self defense backup.

Back up gun maybe. In my humble opinion 22 is more for fun range time, especially with the family.
