When Red #5 receives the ball from Red #4, Red #5 is behind the ball, meaning that they are no longer in an offside position and no offside offense has occurred.

It’s called soccer in the states. Pretty sure most of us in countries who call it football don’t need a yellow and red card explained so this is for fans who are newer to the sport. Who cares what it’s called as long as it’s being played. Football is already another game in the states.

It was soccer before it was football and a lot of the world called it soccer up until the 80s and they decided to start calling it football and they stopped calling it soccer. Soccer is the one thing that the Americans have never and probably will never dominate so you think Americans should follow you for a change and call it what you call it. It’s never going to happen because to Americans it’s not football. Give it a rest! Just relish in the moment every time the USMNT don’t even make it out of the group stages of a tournament
Hello Tanner, I also have the Vanishing Spray. It is very easy to use, shake it before you use it, once you take the black Cap off, You will see a side of the spray can that will allow you to use it. I also learned this trick too, if you get the spray holder to clip it to the back of your shorts, make sure your shorts are tight so the spray is not flopping around

need a better video for caution on Calvert it appears... for leave/enter/reenter...plus, as part of an attack, a player sometimes steps off the pitch over goal line to make sure being in an offside position is not involved in a scoring opportunity.
Do you blow your whistle when goal is scored?
No, you don't. This kid made at least 3 mistakes of the referee signals in this video. The other wrong signalling is = hand should by lowered when goal kick is awarded/signalled. And not pointing straight (0 deg angle).

What is the pay?
I also keep my headsets in my referee bag. I bought mine for the left ear as I am right handed and it feels weird in my right ear.
I keep all my Jerseys in my referee bag, shorts, Socks, whistles, cards, Coins, the fancy referee vanishing spray which I finally figured out how to use. I also keep a trash bag in my referee bag to keep my bag dry, I also keep my first aid kit in my bag.

How can I joining as a referee in other countries
Hi Tanner, thanks for your time and knowledge. Last weekend, there was a foul (high kick into the attacking players shoulder/neck area) outside the box. The referee called for an indirect free kick. Shouldn’t this be direct? Thank you .

When I referee I set the poem by handing out a red car to whoever I feel
As a winger, when I'm in a duel and make a run for it too early toward the goal but simultaneously the center full back is near the goalkeeper, is it considered on offence offside because I started to run too early from the duel or not? I know my question sounds confusing without illustration but I think it's an offence offside.
This was very important for me. Sometimes I forget certain rules so this video helped me remember! Thanks :)

Perfect explanation and I hate that when us as referees when we try to communicate and explain the call in a civilized way and in a calm demeanor they (players) think they can just talk to you however they want. I’ve given more yellows for descent than what I have for fouls. That just shows you where the state of the sport is at. The fact that we have to raise our voice and break out of character just so they can finally understand is insane. It drives me nuts especially when dealing with Hispanics/Latinos they’re wild

However when I got certified they want me to call my assinor saying I kicked the coach off the field of play should I still do that? I also have another question if a spectator or a coach come back to the field of play how would I terminate the game. I wanted to ask has this ever happened to you during one of your games?

Do you blow the whistle when the ball is dropped?
“You will blow the whistle to stop play. When you are ready to restart play, there is no need to blow the whistle again. Just drop the ball and resume play.” This is the advice I got while working with a current FIFA referee. Hope this helps!
