    What if an opponent stops the path of the ball using hands and even though the ball goes to goal, is the goal allowed? Or what to do?

      I am a bit confused with the questions, but if the defender handled the ball on the goal line, but the ball still went into the goal, the referee should apply advantage and allow the goal to stand.
      Let me know if this answered your question.
      Thanks!

    Hi Tanner, thanks for your time and knowledge. Last weekend, there was a foul (high kick into the attacking players shoulder/neck area) outside the box. The referee called for an indirect free kick. Shouldn’t this be direct? Thank you .

      Hi! Thanks for watching the video and supporting the channel!
      You are correct. If any contact was made with the opponent, it should be a direct free kick.
      Thanks!

    What are the rules for offside during free kicks?

    If the other team has a free kick and the referee blows the whistle to begin the play, can I run at the ball to defend?

    • @tannertrout
      @tannertrout 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      If the other team has a free kick and the restart is ceremonial, meaning that the referee would walk out ten yards, the kicking team must wait for the referee to blow their whistle before they can legally put the ball in play. If the restart is non-ceremonial, the kicking team does not have to wait for the referee to blow their whistle (the referee shouldn’t blow their whistle in this case).
      In all of these cases, however, the defending team must remain at least 10 yards away from the ball in all directions until the ball is kicked and put in play by the kicking team.
      Please let me know if this answered your question, or if you need me to elaborate more!
      Thanks!

    When is a foul a penalty kick vs a direct free kick? And when is the ball placed on the penalty kick spot vs the 18?

    • @tannertrout
      @tannertrout 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi!
      A foul is only a penalty kick if it occurs in the opposing teams penalty area. That would be when the ball is placed on the penalty spot.
      Thanks!
