I accidently mispelled the registry "exefile" and now i cant open anything. Now, whenever I try and open an EXE it says "open with." Is there any way to fix this?

Just a reminder, the screen displays may differ (ex. the Taskbar "Properties" option does not display, I had to select "Taskbar Settings"). I executed all three suggested methods in succession, then used the Restart option from Ctrl +Alt + Del. EUREKA! The taskbar and hidden icons displays are now populated. FYI: It is possible that if I had used the Restart option after the first or second method, the taskbar may have been populated.

For newer Samsung laptops, believe it or not you csn just tuen your camera an mic bac on using the F10 button at the top of your keyboard. 😩 I seriously wish I'd known that 2 hours ago!
