  • Windows Modules Installer High CPU Usage in Windows 10? You can fix the error quite simply!. Right click on windows start button I computer managment I services and applications I services I windows modules installer I set it to Manual and stop the service!

    For me it only appears windows installer.That is the option ?

      neither, even when i run as admin it's blacked out

    Didn't work for me. I have had it on manual already but it still runs by itself occasionally.

      Manual just means that someone has to open it manually. That "someone" can also be the "operating system" itself. Try disabling it completely.

      You can set it to manual, but it will still run (in my case at least) and then i just ended the task in task manager.
