I don't think they were trying to make it look exactly like film in this video. I think they were just using the software to add character to the footage. You can use bloom for example to make really lush highlights that bleed into the image (like in the tree canopy shots) without necessarily needing to make the entire picture super filmic

@@Dehancer Wish I had seen that, woulda saved me some typing lol - appreciate you much! It’d seriously be awesome to just be able to slide the panels into that order for a much better/easier user experience tho, and not have to consult that list. Color grading can already be massively technical (especially when you combine it with all the other media-creation plates we all struggle to spin lol). Easier is much more joyful! sigma 24-70 can do it

Dehancer is evolving. Pricing and Plans may change over time, however, we are constantly improving the product quality and feature set.

Camera profiles in Dehancer are designed to interpret low contrast (Log) video to normal contrast (Rec.709). Creative shooting modes (e.g. S-Cinetone), as well as video with normal contrast (e.g. HLG) do not need gamma curve interpretation and can be used as is, while Rec.709 should be selected in the Input of the plugin.

We have fantastic articles on suggested workflow. We also have a 'Help' section on our website (Manuals, FAQ included). Additionally, we suggest looking through our TH-cam playlists where we have a lot more useful info.

Dehancer Online can be used in any browser on any device. And our app is iOS only.

All the features are available inside our app.
