Yeap, it sucks and batteries are very expensive.. You can try to "reset" or whetever the pin hole is for, but I'm not sure it will help, opening the battery and forcing a lidle of charge with a direct cable connection to the battery could also work, but it's not for a normal user.. If you search on youtube there is some one that have made a few tests and resets and charge battery but it requires some equipment and skills.. good luck.

@@MiguelSilvaX tnks. Ya puse una orden por las baterías. Voy a ver los vídeos aunque no sería y ver soluciones para dejarlas de respaldo. Porque no sería honesto de nuestra parte, entregar un dron nuevo con esas baterías malas de fabrica.

I'm not sure how much it flew because drone came with 2 sets of extra blades and since I had other accidents before I have swapped some already, but I think these blades have some flaw that may break near the joint (from blade to the to the screw) because it was the second time this drone dived in the sea and the first time I recovered the drone with a broken blade (you can see in one of my previous videos).

It's just a dust cover (like glass on mobile phones), I'm not sure if it's real glass but anything with that size that keeps clear without scratches should do the job.. good luck replacing it ;)

100% = 8.4 v, not 7.6 volt as in your device.

Yep, there has been some imrovements on that front with firmware updates but it shouldn't have came out with any of these issues...

Obrigado, eles têm algumas características semelhantes (como o 4k/30) mas não conheço a qualidade de imagem do Mavic. No ZMP há sempre alguma possibilidade de se ver jello no vídeo em alguns momentos do voo. Penso que o ZMP deve conseguir melhor imagem de noite pois tem um sensor maior, o ZMP tambem tem um pouco mais de autonomia com uma bateria, e é mais leve (250g que em alguns países pode ser mais fácil obter autorização para voar em alguns lugares). Mas de resto o Mavic deve ser melhor na maior parte das coisas e também deve ser mais fácil reparar pois a DJI é mais conhecida e deve ser mais fácil encontrar peças de substituição.

I sent the log via the App to Hubsan but didn't hear anything from them, I'm trying to get some explanation from them... I don't think the battery failed in the air because it kept sending video and telemetry until it hit the water (from 90 meters of altitude) there was very few birds there that day and they usually fly lower. The temperature that day was not very high either, about 30degree C and drone was going against the wind, (CPU was showing 45degree C) so battery should have enough cooling...

Yeap, after this I could only think about an hexacpopter that could still fly back home with 1 of the 6 motors/propellers failing.

Yeap, I really don't know what have caused the problem. It could have been a propeller (it wouldn't be the first time, even though it's very strange how a propeller breaks right next to the screw like it happened to me and drone fell on the sea too) or some problem related to previous accidents.. But I had 3 flights without problems before so I wasn't expecting to have problems in this flight..

@@MiguelSilvaX hope you can get a replacement if it's under warranty. Now I always check the propellers before I send it into the air.

@@sarawaklens2964 I'm still waiting for a reply from Hubsan, but my previous accident I had with a broken propeller, it broke right next to the screw, so I don't think it could be predictable with previous inspection.

I think what you want to change is heading speed in joystick settings, I use 50% and when flying in normal mode (not film or expert/sport) it gives you a slower pan speed.

Se for o zino mini pro deve ter as mesma características, o alcance de 10km é numa situação ideal sem interferências de WiFi nas redondezas. Na realidade o alcance numa situação urbana fica sempre mais reduzido, mas ele tem 4km de limite máximo de altitude. (Aqui em portugal ao deve haver problema pois dá para a serra da estrela). Em termos de aquecimento nunca tive problemas, acho que só pode dar problema se estiveres muito tempo parado no mesmo sítio, pois se andar de um lado para o outro acaba por arrefecer a eletrónica. Mas tbm aquece quando estamos a transferir os ficheiros para o computador. Se for mais de 30GB de uma vez começa a apitar e normalmente eu deixo acabar de copiar aquele ficheiro e desligo e depois passado uns minutos volto a copiar o que falta..

Dos vídeos que tenho feito noto que houve uma redução muito boa nos problemas jello. Não sei se em todos os outros Zino mini pro também se notou a mesma melhoria significativa, pois tenho ideia que nos testes iniciais de várias pessoas que compraram o drone, uns notavam mais o problema que outros. Atualmente como te digo é muito raro ver o problema e acho que acontecia mais quando o drone estava a descer rapidamente (suponho que tenha relação com as hélices rodarem mais devagar e ficar próximo de uma frequência que seja mais mais difícil do gimbal estabilizar). Eu consegui um bom preço do drone em promoção de lançamento e ainda não existia o DJI mini 3, neste momento se os preços forem semelhantes o DJI deve ser uma aposta mais garantida. Mas eu estou satisfeito com o meu, apesar de não ter ficado muito satisfeito quando soube que a Hubsan não vende peças para reparação dos Mini (só vende hélices, baterias e pouco mais)... Já tive de colar e soldar o meu umas 2 vezes (por causa de acidentes com árvores) mas penso que continua a 100%. Se conseguires um bom preço pode ainda ser uma boa compra.. mas compra sempre pelo menos 2 baterias. Eu comprei 2 e por vezes gostava de ter uma 3a, mas agora estão muito caras comparado com o preço que consegui no kit inicial..

Drone doesn't capture audio, but the trick is when you are flying also capture the phone's screen (and audio) at the same time (I use AZ Screen Recorder for Android) and it also captures audio, in the end you only have to mix and synchronise both recordings (the video from drone with video/audio from phone) I use a video editor and usually place the phone's screen in a small corner as you can see here.

Yeap, those settings only affects the normal flight mode (not film nor sports/expert modes) I think think that using 50% (instead of the default 100%) for heading speed (yaw) and 3% (instead of 5% that is the default) for gimbal pitch (tilt) speed is a good compromise to have better smoothness with camera during flight. If you want to do circles around a subject keeping camera always pointing in it should give you a better control. But if you want to do a very tiny and fast circle that might require faster that 50% of yaw speed, but that will also be much harder to control and keep camera painting to right spot, so you might as well switch to sport mode, or change the parameters just for that.

Thanks. I'm still a bit afraid to fly too low since I had 2 accidents with trees, but flying lower gives a more appealing movement in most cases.

Well.. :) I think that in terms of Jello it's better, or at least in this video I don't see jello anymore, that's a great achievement because after improved image processing (compared to initial firmwares) the jello was the other Achilles heel for this drone, but since I also added the rubber counterweight, I'm not sure if that also helped... (in theory adding weight to camera should add inertia and get smoother movements / less vibration :) I still need to do some tests with direct sunlight because I don't suppose HDR has had any improvement - that would be awesome, but I still have hope there will be some firmware update that will bring us a much better HDR mode for this drone. About ND filters, camera gimbal sure can hold one, if you try to manually force gimbal out of it's position (with drone turned on before taking off) you'll see it does seem to have a good amount of force before giving up. Actually I have tried a CPL filter before but it was a low cost filter that I didn't like much the effect (and a CPL filter in order to get the best image might require adjusting angle according to drone's orientation but that's impossible to do during flight) the only bad thing is sticking a filter on glass might also be harsh to remove it later or clean the glass. I think that an ideal filter for this camera should clip from the top to the camera housing and have a balanced weight on the back and front of camera (instead of just sticking in front of camera glass), that should not interfere with balance or require constant motor force to compensate. Don't know if there are any like this for this drone.. About frame rates and jitter I'm not sure if there are problems because my computer some times can't play 4k video smoothly, but I think it's mostly it's ok.

So that was it.. I knew there was something else other than acetone (that watched some one talking about it) but I couldn't remember or find out what it was.. thanks for reminding me. Maybe next time I can give it a try. But is it easy to find on the market? Is it used for something else that could be sold to general public?

Ok, that would make the glue thinner but I think the problem is the material of the shell that doesn't seem to react quickly enough with acetone before it evaporates. I also don't know if the grill that comes with drone to protect heatsink is the same material as the putter shell..

@@MiguelSilvaX after applying the mixture, try loosely surrounding the part with plastic cling wrap to slow evaporation until the bond is cured fully. Be patient. You can also try superglue. Just be careful to let it dry fully before replacing the lens and gimbal assembly. The glue will fog the lens and damage it.

Olá, estou a usar o modo de imagem "Natural" sem HDR e sem night mode e com os 3 parâmetros (contraste, saturação e nitidez) no default nível 5. Resolução de 4k30FPS e bit rate de 80mbps.

Obrigado Joseph, foi mais para filmar noutros cenários e não tanto os testes habituais do drone, por isso nem juntei a imagem do telemóvel. Há pouco estive a tentar colar o drone com uma mistura de plástico (ABS e Acetona) que dizem que é bom para colar ABS.. vamos ver se resulta. Coincidência eu partir o drone no dia que a DJI lançou o Mini 3 e pelas reviews parece ser bem bom, mas acho que é muito dinheiro, e o Zino Mini Pro já foi demasiado caro para durar só 6 meses.. :)

Since I don't have much space, I will leave the files for a week or so before removing them. Olá Joseph, fiz o update para há 1.4.5 há dias e correu bem, ainda só voei dentro de um edificio (que não é costume) talvez no FDS faça um voo de exterior para ver o comportamento. Achei estranho foi ter estado 1 semana sem mexer no drone e mesmo antes de fazer o update (aionda com a 1.4.4) e também depois do update a app estava completamente lenta e com um lag de 10 ou 15 segundos desde que carregava em qq parte do ecrã até aparecer as coisas referentes ao que carreguei.. Depois de levantar o drone e mudar para o modo video o lag desaparece. Já me tinha acontecido antes mas penso que seja qqc da App que não gosta de qqc do drone, pois se desligar o drone a app passa a reagir de imediato.. (fiz vários restarts ao drone, telemovel e app mas nada mudou, vamos ver da proxima se já está normal, não percebo, atá estava a mostrar o drone a uns amigos que ficaram logo mal impressionados com este problema.. mas nos pequenos voos que fiz dentro de edificios não notei perdas de ligação.

@@MiguelSilvaX É muito estranho mesmo. Será alguma cena do telemóvel? A equipa de suporte Hubsan perguntaram-me se eu tinha mudado de telemóvel, eu respondi obviamente que não. Mas pelos vistos vou ter que fazer um teste para despistar se é telemóvel. Eu estou usar o iPhone 12 mini. Deveria trabalhar bem a App e o dron porque é um telemóvel top “acho eu”. Tenho um Galaxy A2, não gosto muito pelo o processador e a ecrã, mas vou testar com ele na mesma. Vou ver que acontece. Um abraço e obrigado por responder. @@JOSEPHCHANNELS mas o mais estranho é que isto aconteceu ainda com a 1.4.4 r uma semana antes tinha feito uns voos com esta versão sem qualquer problema, já não me lembro se a app teve algum update mas pode ser um bug da app. Ou um bug de qualquer configuracao específica do drone que não se entende com a app. No fim de semana logo faço mais uns testes pode ser que entretanto tbm haja mais updates da app e firmware. O meu telemóvel é o pixel 2 que era tipo de gama mas já tem uns 4 anos e como tal já não aguenta usar o modo de video low delay aí mesmo tempo que gravo o ecrã do telemóvel.

Hello Harco, that's a good question. At that moment there was nothing with the specs of this drone under 250g. Right now, there is something from Autel and from the rumours there will be a DJI Mini 3 Pro very soon, but both are more expensive than Zino Mino Pro. I bought mine in Bangood at launch with a promotional code including 2 batteries for 450€ (just based on specs) with some faith it would be a good drone. But I have waited several months for it to become available and manufactured. It is not perfect because occasionally there is some jello in image, the HDR mode does nothing to image and Hubsan doesn't sell all parts for you to repair it yourself in case you need. I had an accident and cracked an arm but they didn't sell me one and wanted me to send the drone to repair. Since it was not severe, I just put some glue and it seems to be ok. So, to answer your question, I think at this moment I would wait for some DJI Mini 3 reviews and see if the price is right. This was my highest priced drone by far and it was already a bit too expensive for my introduction to drone filming just for recreation, I'm glad I ordered 2 batteries, I think I should have gone for the 3 batteries option because if you really want to use it on a special occasion (like it's now or never) it might be useful but it was already too expensive and I was afraid that I would break the drone in a month and then had wasted money on batteries that I wouldn't use, but now a new battery is too expensive to get (I think it's about 80€ and in the initial kit it was just 30€ more for a battery). So maybe if you can get it on a good deal it's still a good buy... it's not obvious to spend twice the price on a drone with similar specs from a well known brand, it might be less risky though. I think you better wait 2 more weeks and see what's coming.

@@MiguelSilvaX Thanks for replying! Over the last week I have been going through the options and had concluded the Autel Nano (not plus) would be the best option. It is set for launch in June. Price is a bit more friendly than that of the Nano+ version and also the Mini 3. Than yesterday I found that the Zino had gone on sale. So I went through a lot of reviews, looked at the progress beeing made in correcting flaws and....in the end decided to buy it. I'm in it for photo rather than video. and hope it will not disappoint. Have fun flying!
