Very nice shots .... I have a Hubsan Zino mini SE and now a new Hubsan ACE for ... Camera the same as a mini pro ... I hope that in nice weather the shots will be as nice as yours
Yeap, the fact that hubsan launched the ace with same camera means they believe it's a good solution and will keep improving it even for the older mini pro. The ace being a bigger drone should have better wind resistance and maybe it doesn't suffer from jello problema most users are having on the mini pro. I still would like to see an improvement in the HDR mode that should give a better dynamic range, or even give us the option for recording video in 10bit format.. hopefully that's still on the plans for future firmware.
Me personally I like Sunny Day without HDR on. I did notice some jello when you pointed out towards the wind. Didn't see any after that. It was really windy there. I am using the stock PID parameters as well. I don't fly above 25mphwinds at 150ft. Anything above that for me and I have a hard time sometimes getting her back to me. The jello definitely happens for me when there's high winds out and when I'm coming down fast. I haven't updated to the new firmware yet though. It's good news that Hubsan used the same camera module in the Ace series as what we've got. Lots of potential with this camera sensor. 👍
I think the "Sunny Day" has improved a bit but the "Normal" mode still shows better details. For instance looking at the grass at 7:10 it shows less details than 9:37 and there seems to be a slight over sharpening also in the bushes on the right of the grass with "sunny day". (All without HDR). The wind was a bit inconsistent with bursts, so it's not good for jello comparisons.
@@MiguelSilvaX , you know your absolutely right. I didn't notice that. I'll have to start using Normal mode now because I live in the forest and there's lots of foliage from trees. 👍
@@TheGreatExplorer ok, from the specs (size and resolutions and dual-iso) i thought it could be the same or something very similar, but the DJI also does 4k60 (without HDR) and hubsan doesn't so I thought it was a new iteration of the sensor or a different brand.. I also think hubsan still didn't tackle the right HDR algorithm because I don't notice any difference in image with or without HDR... But I'm still hoping they will do something in next firmware updates to match some of the DJI HDR modes... I had an accident with my Zino Mino Pro and hopefully will be able to glue or weld to fly it again, I wish all these drones had side sensors instead of front and back..
Yeap, this time my computer and shotcut was not behaving on video editing and it took me longer to publish, I've noticed there is a new app 2.2.9 but I suppose it won't break the USB connection bug fixes :)

Pois, o drone saiu com problemas de vários tipos sendo a qualidade de imagem a principal função, como tem tido updates de firmware com bastante frequência, tenho feito estes testes para mim e para todos os interessados poderem ver a evolução das melhorias das novas versões. Já vi que também tens drones e equipamentos de som no teu canal, e falas espanhol mas pareceu-me um sotaque de Venezuela ou estou errado? boa sorte com o canal ;)

At 24:03 there seemed to be a grey screen glitch when switching film modes. Not sure if it's the actual switching of modes or the bit rate bugging out?
Yeap, I just confirm the original video (H.265) also has that glitch, I don't know if it has anything to do with changing the film mode or if it's something else, its usual to see in FPV video but not in locally recorded video.
Olá Joseph, fiz o update para há 1.4.5 há dias e correu bem, ainda só voei dentro de um edificio (que não é costume) talvez no FDS faça um voo de exterior para ver o comportamento. Achei estranho foi ter estado 1 semana sem mexer no drone e mesmo antes de fazer o update (aionda com a 1.4.4) e também depois do update a app estava completamente lenta e com um lag de 10 ou 15 segundos desde que carregava em qq parte do ecrã até aparecer as coisas referentes ao que carreguei.. Depois de levantar o drone e mudar para o modo video o lag desaparece. Já me tinha acontecido antes mas penso que seja qqc da App que não gosta de qqc do drone, pois se desligar o drone a app passa a reagir de imediato.. (fiz vários restarts ao drone, telemovel e app mas nada mudou, vamos ver da proxima se já está normal, não percebo, atá estava a mostrar o drone a uns amigos que ficaram logo mal impressionados com este problema.. mas nos pequenos voos que fiz dentro de edificios não notei perdas de ligação.
@@MiguelSilvaX É muito estranho mesmo. Será alguma cena do telemóvel? A equipa de suporte Hubsan perguntaram-me se eu tinha mudado de telemóvel, eu respondi obviamente que não. Mas pelos vistos vou ter que fazer um teste para despistar se é telemóvel. Eu estou usar o iPhone 12 mini. Deveria trabalhar bem a App e o dron porque é um telemóvel top “acho eu”. Tenho um Galaxy A2, não gosto muito pelo o processador e a ecrã, mas vou testar com ele na mesma. Vou ver que acontece. Um abraço e obrigado por responder. Bons voos com o update 1.4.5 muita sorte 🙂🙏
@@JOSEPHCHANNELS mas o mais estranho é que isto aconteceu ainda com a 1.4.4 r uma semana antes tinha feito uns voos com esta versão sem qualquer problema, já não me lembro se a app teve algum update mas pode ser um bug da app. Ou um bug de qualquer configuracao específica do drone que não se entende com a app. No fim de semana logo faço mais uns testes pode ser que entretanto tbm haja mais updates da app e firmware. O meu telemóvel é o pixel 2 que era tipo de gama mas já tem uns 4 anos e como tal já não aguenta usar o modo de video low delay aí mesmo tempo que gravo o ecrã do telemóvel.
I find it so stupid that it can't have the fpv on if its not in the air..... Bit of jello in HDR. Disappointing... And the horizon is still tilting EVER SO SLIGHTLY. also disappointing!
Yes, they should allow to see FPV before taking off, even if it was just 1 minute and if you don't take off if would stop FPV. The jello reduction with this drone seems to be a journey rather than a single achievement... I've had some videos with fere few or no jello at all, and then it comes back in next firmware test, but there is always the wind variable that doesn't help in getting consistent tests.. I still haven't invested much time trying to correct jello (and changing gimbal PID parameters), so I have been mainly concerned with video processing and final quality to choose witch mode to use when everything else is settled :) About horizon tilt I noticed it was better than previous videos but din't pay much attention to all moments and didn't notice the tilt you refer.
Many of the older reviews of the Zino complain of poor video, but to me, it looks good. Thanks for the very helpful video.
