The vanilla physics is basically just awd drifting. Exactly what Ken block did, it’s not really drifting but more of power sliding. The wheels literally locking the opposite direction is what real drifting looks like. It’s not really that big of a deal but it feels better and it’s satisfying to watch. Thanks for your work 🫡

im finding it really hard to use the mod, almost like it turns barely and I have no control over turning or starting a drift. Is it that double tapping trigger no longer initiates a drift?

the vanilla version doesn't even feel like a drift it's true that they made the drifting better than what it used to be like but even the new version isn't good the car just slides and you never steer to the oposit direction like it should just like the drifting physics in the crew 2 they improved it just to be like what the crew used to be

Too bad your mod handles like ass for most people, every one I seen mention it says it looks awesome but it handles like ass. Hardly anyone is gonna stick with it long enough to get this good. Too bad the devs can't figure out how to just give the look of counter steering. Have you reached out to them to tell them how you made it? Cause the new vanilla handling is super easy to drive it just looks wrong. if we can get a combination of your automatic counter steering visuals with the handling of the new vanilla physics, then it would be perfect.

Sure i think everyone here prefers the mod by a landslide, but the vanilla physics arent bad anymore, they're actually enjoyable! It's great news for NFS, or well atleast the console people. We will always have our beloved mods lol
