This is such a HUGE improvement! I have subscribed so I now when this new version of the mod is available! I think this is better than Project Unite for me, because I prefer the normal lighting - Unite looks to dark and desaturated

The only draw back for me is that regular driving would be a bit difficult.
Im developing version 2.0 where i'll tweak grip handling a bit more. But im still aiming for a more realistic, slower driving experience than vanilla, which would still be difficult i assume. I recommend using the mod for drifitng only for now.

It's all amazing what this is, but now all we need is a way to chain our drifts without it mercilessly cashing in our points each single drift. Like Payback for example.
I still don't know, but I've tried everything. Literally I've went through every setting, and I could not find ANY way to make it so we can continuously gain points and actually chain our drifts. Can anyone help me here?
Im not sure what your style of drifting is, but for me the point system works as expected. It doesnt cash my points in, only stops counting for a breaf moment. :D What is you main goal with this btw? Do you want to break leaderboards? Wouldnt that be cheating? :P
@@hayeduce This is so I can feel better about myself. Also I'm doing it offline. The game's point system is so too quick when it cashes it in basically. I wanna feel like I am drifting a lot. Also the default value for drifting is so low. I wanna make it higher so we can score more points for that matter also.

I just used drift parts. But they dont matter that much, the mod does most of it even if the car is stock

Nah Forza drifting physics is like your on ice all the time and doesn't have any real traction whatsoever, this is a lot more planted tbh.

@@raionshishi8290 I think you meant CarX or Asetto Corsa? Forza's drifting is by far the best and most realistic drifting game out there. It's a shame the car customization sucks, though.

@@hayeduce Did you copy all of the preferences for each car from Payback and into Heat? I try to do that and it SLIGHTLY helps, but I don't know what you changed here.
@@DevinMillarDM i am not sure what u mean. i didnt copy anything. I manually edited some values in the tire model, and performance upgrades. You dont need to do any editing if you want to use the mod, or are you trying to replicate it?
@@hayeduce Well I'm trying to figure is how to take the drifting physics from Payback and into Heat, especially the part where you can chain your drifts and continuously gain points without it constantly cashing them in every time you stop for even a second.
What you can do is go to the DriftConfig file for every car under the Tuning folder. In that file, there is a property called MinSpeedForDriftChaining or something similar. Change that to 0, it should allow you to do transitions whenever you want.
