@@michaelquinn8054 the seats are lie flat; there are older and newer first class seats; but all are lie flats. If the seat map shows two rows of eight seats, that’s the new seat on the plane. But plane swaps can happen anytime.

Food was much better than Seoul we thought. Just sports massage at their spa; and they also had a sauna experience that was amazing (4 different themed sauna hut). Highly recommend!

Concierge Key is an invite only status, and typically people who control spend or spend alot on American Airline flights will get invites to become a Concierge Key. For example, I've spent 70k+ with American Airlines last year to get a renewal for CK. Some benefits include a team dedicated to overlook your flights and handle flight delays/cancellations with a seamless service. For example, American Airline will book you on two separate flights at the same time to get you to your destination right away. You will have a dedicated phone line/email to resolve issues promptly. They answer emails within minutes to less than one hour.Tarmac/golf cart transfers to gates, and also access to Flagship Lounge. The soft service is much better at the airport, but inside an airplane, not much difference compared to an EXP. Hope that helps.

If you can get the original JAL SkySuite layout, that is the best one. SkySuite > Skysuite III >>>>>>>>>>SkySuite II. If you can get ANA The Room for 30k, I would go with ANA. People say JAL food/catering is better than ANAs. But in your case, I would chose ANA is it is 30K less points than JAL. Check out both flights hard product and see which one excites you more. :)

@@YourNextTravelthat’s what I thought. The flight is only 8 hours and paying 60k points I think is too much compared to 35k miles. I’ve only flown Hawaiian business class before, although the seat was comfortable and spacious, paying same as Jal points was a bad choice.

@@BoywithLoveeee For sure, ANA/JAL just keeps their cabin abit warmer than Hawaiian Airlines, so just be ready for that.

@@rayrogers7458 Departures from Mexico City, Cairo, or Marrakech usually have lower cost tickets for their First Class products. If you are US based, maybe worth it to take a flight to Mexico City first.

Definitely lots of antennas on buildings in both Tokyo and Seoul. Oul was really good; just wanted more Tteokbokki! I got some street food videos coming out soon. I didn't do the Korean scrub, but just a straight forward deep tissue massage. They have a sauna, but not sure about a cold plunge pool; but most facilities offer a cold plunge pool with saunas. The spa had amazing service, but we actually preferred Grand Hyatt Seoul massage over the Four Seasons...go figure

Totally agree...pretty outdated business class set up....The only upside is that there are a higher density, so the cost is alot cheaper. Asiana has a better business class seat layout in the middle section of business class with direct aisle.

The 747 have better business class products than the 777. Actually, Korean Airlines ICN to Jeju have some awesome A321 business class set up and is really new. Food is good, but lacking in imagination. I was surprised they actually had decent champagne. Had Piper Rare on the return from ICN to HNL, which goes for about 200-300 per bottle, and tasty.

Anytime! We went to Seoul Dining (1 Michelin) and was really good and down to earth modern Korean food without the pretentiousness. It is hard to find, as the taxi driver and google map did not help. I would recommend calling them ahead to get directions. We also went to Eatanic Garden (1 star) located at Josun Palace Hotel. My wife liked Seoul Dinning better, but I liked the variance of flavor profile at Eatanic Garden. The chef at Eatanic Garden is super nice, and everyone gets a kitchen tour. Out of all the places, we enjoyed the Korean BBQ at Grand Hyatt Jeju the best: Noknamu. One of the best japchae! I'm going to release couple of videos about Korea soon: Four Seasons Seoul, out trip around Korea, Jeju Grand Hyatt, and Korean Airline flight between GMP and Jeju. More than happy to answer any other questions.

For ultralong hauls, they will take your initial order and timing of such order. If you don't give them your choice for the second meal, then it may be out by the time you order.. After the first meal, the staff usually leaves you alone, assuming you want to sleep. For people who wait for the flight attendants to come by to get something/service will be sorely disappointed with Qatar Airways. This is coming from data point of more than 10 DFW/SFO-DOH flights. Qatar Airways expect you to use the call button, since it is dine on demand.

Definitely agree; it's a great way to fly direct, but the original Sky Suites are much better, and JAL new First Class looks amazing. The old JAL First class is abit worn down, but service/food is still really good. I just feel it's abit too warm in their cabins for my own likings.

It's a great place to escape the crowded life of Jakarta/Bali. I believe they have local discounts too. Only issue the availability of flights, abit less than before since Garuda Indonesia pulled out of flying to Sumba. Hopefully they restart their Sumba flights, as the jets are abit. more comfortable and faster than the propeller planes (LionAir).

Doha does have some very nice lounges. I'm a big fan of showers between flights to freshen up and feel rejuvenated. ☺

Yes, I hear you about the showers being available with the many airline lounges. I like them for that and just to being to sit down in a little more calmer area at airports.

Totally agree! The longer the flight, the more you can actually sleep and enjoy what Emirates F has to offer. My favorite US airport to depart from is SFO. Great lounge set up to board the plane directly.

No caviar 😟 But, if you are looking at a great caviar service, I would recommend Emirates!

Alot of new fliers on QATAR AIRWAYS don't realize its service on demand, and the flight attendants don't typically walk around to see if you need anything (versus typical US service), and customers become disappointed with the experience. The call button is your friend and to get the good experience with QATAR AIRWAYS,.

Al Safwa is definitely worth it for the less crowds. Doha usually has bank of flights that come in in the evening and late at night/early morning, so the business class lounges do get very crowded. If the funds allow, I would recommend Al Safwa for the sleep rooms. Their food is decent, but alcohol selection is still lacking. With the opening of the Garden Lounge, the crowds are definitely improved.
