Thunderstorm Ruined My Audio Recording Gear? | Patrik in Nature
I left my audio recording equipment hidden outside in nature to capture the immersive, pristine ambience. What I didn't plan was to have two heavy rainstorms pass by, soaking up my gear. Did it survive? What was recorded while the storm was raging?

Exploring a National Park by Boat is Amazing | Wildlife Photography
มุมมอง 36214 วันที่ผ่านมา
I never imagined that photographing wildlife from a boat, cruising through a national park, would be such an enjoyable experience. During my trip through the Netherlands, I spent some quality time in Giethoorn, exploring the Weerribben-Wieden National Park. From countless bird species, male roe deer swimming, to my first ever encounter with an otter, this video has it all. I hope you enjoy watc...

Well it depends on your style of shooting, use case: photo/video etc. If you tell me more in detail how you are going to use it, I can give you more accurate advice. The difference is in the monitor as well. If you plan to use it for photographing and filming yourself, I suggest the Z30, because the screen is fully articulating.

Great footage and pics. To be honest, I have been living in DK for a few months now and really struggle to find any, even remotely wild places. Forests are really scarce and there is some urban development or agriculture nearly everywhere. The nature seems completely tamed here. I was very surprised when I discovered this while travelling, as the other scandinavian or even central/eastern european countries look much 'wilder' to me, more forests (many of them are industrial forests, but still). What was your feeling?

    • @PatrikInNature

Thank you. Yeah, I see what you mean. It's interesting to hear your experience. When I was travelling through Denmark, I was there for a vacation and only got to photograph animals at opportunities along the way. The closest to a really wild experience was when I photographed Bison on Bornholm. Because of that, it's hard for me to comment about it. One wild place that comes to mind is Lille Vildmose.
