- With this approach, you'll be able to capture high-quality photos of kingfishers with entry-level gear. If you are just starting out or don't want to spend a lot of money on camera gear, watch this video and learn how to best go about photographing these colourful birds. I am using Nikon's entry-level camera, the Z 30, together with the Sigma 70-200 mm, but the guide will show you how to achieve these amazing results with practically any camera and lens combination. I will take you along and explain how to find the appropriate location, how to set up the camera, which settings to use, how to hide yourself, and how to go about photographing them. I will also show you the photos that I take.

Hello Patrick, really nice to see this!! I only make videos and also watch where birds mostly land and than make hours of recordings in part of 20 minutes and it always works that way.
Greetings Gijs
Thanks! I checked out your channel and you have some really lovely recordings. Keep up the good work.

I hope it works for you as well and you manage some good shots.

low price camera ..z50 z30 right ... wild life photo .... ?
Z50 & Z30 is Exactly Same Camera
Z30 don't have Viewfinder
1st, How much important the Viewfinder is ??
2nd, Which one I should choose between both ??
Well it depends on your style of shooting, use case: photo/video etc.
If you tell me more in detail how you are going to use it, I can give you more accurate advice. The difference is in the monitor as well. If you plan to use it for photographing and filming yourself, I suggest the Z30, because the screen is fully articulating.
@@PatrikInNature as a Wildlife Photographer I need Suggestions, Specially Birds, Tigers & Elephant I shoot without Tripod
I would go for the Z50. The viewfinder will be useful to you.
@@PatrikInNature Okk .Thank You!!
Me who's using Canon Rebel T6i"
It's more than good enough. Like I mention in the video, you really don't need high end specs to achieve these photos :)
@@PatrikInNature Yeah, you are right. I have 75-300MM lens and I still take sharp photos with it when the bird is in range. We have to take a start from somewhere with whatever gear we have" because most of the people can't afford expensive cameras like me. So I have to work with whatever gear I have.
Right, with the 300mm you are getting enough zoom to get really good photos. The skill and approach is everything and it doesn't cost you much. Good luck with your photography 😊
That lens is neither cheap nor Entry level
True, but that was not the point of the video. If you listen, I say in the video that any lens with such focal lenght will work, even ones without autofocus and stabilisation. Such lenses are generally much cheaper and will work just fine.
